  • New SIM card new iPad mini 4 offer only AT & T refurb apple

I bought an iPad mini 4 on the Apple refurb store. It came with no SIM card. I went to my local apple retail store, and you have a card SIM Apple (after assisted by about 3 people; they seemed barely even know what I was talking about). I put the card and went data cell in the settings. Under "Choose a date plan" is the only option (already checked) "AT & T - A & T - Postpaid" and under that in the fine print, it says "SIM expired." If I tap on "Add a new plan", the only option for the carrier that appears is AT & T. After reading all about the flexibility of the Apple SIM card, I am very frustrated that it does not work as advertised. I've heard talk about AT & T lock SIM card after you choose, but I never had the chance to make the choice.

    PS. a reboot didn't help.

    Hello there npydyuan!

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support and congratulations on your new iPad mini 4.  I have the same model with cellular and I love being able to use everywhere and always have the data available to me.  I'm here to help you today.

This iPad comes with the same 1 year warranty and 14 day return policy, as would a brand new iPad mini 4.  Even if the iPad is refurbished, it should always be open and available for use on any carrier that supports the equipment.  Please contact the Apple Store Support by phone 1-800-MY-APPLE or if you prefer, you can discuss them here: Shopping help, scrolling down and clicking on the Chat now.

Best wishes and I know once your iPad mini 4 is sorted on you will enjoy it as much as I do mine!

  • SIM Apple in iPad Pro 12 "

I have an iPad 12 "Pro in my office and I travel to the United States tomorrow - can I be guaranteed that it contains a card SIM Apple (which then I intend to use on AT & T)?

I talked to AppleCare today and they say this, but all the documentation on the Apple site says version 9.7 "has a built-in SIM card and does not mention the iPad more large Pro-not the 12" also have?

I took a photo Friday of my settings-> general-> on the page and it's at the top of the left page - which could be the Apple SIM card on the left? The picture has no more in this corner, right at the end "..." IM -.

could this be "Cellular Data Apple SIM"

I'm just desperate to confirm this before fly me tomorrow, so I know if I need to get a SIM card in the United States (which takes ages and I have to go to a store)?

Thanks for any help on this!

Get a paper clip and bend a right side.

Put the tip in the hole of SIM on the right side of the iPad and push firmly in, popping out.

If there an Apple Sim card it should have a small Apple logo on this subject:

  • problems of Pro Sim for Apple 9.7 iPad

    Good evening

I tried to use my Apple Sim, but unfortunately, it won't work, the iPad can not find all the suppliers.
Despite that, I am in a larger city.

The Tablet has a signal, at least I can see the iPad GET is a signal.

    What could be the error?

    Location: Singen, Germany

    Operating system: ios 9.3.2

You said that the iPad got the cellular signal. Whose cell signal carrier you want to see? If you type settings - mobile data - configuration... do you think any cellular carrier?

  • TMobile iPhone as most purchased 7 squarely on Apple store opened or not?

    Hi all

I recently bought the iPhone 7 more pure and simple thanks to the Apple store online. I wonder if my iPhone is unlocked. I try to put a (supplied with the iPhone) Apple sim card in the phone, and it says "SIM not valid".

So, my phone is locked to Tmobile?

    Please help me.

    Thank you.

If you bought the phone outright, it needs to be unlocked.  However, you need to call T-Mobile to get activated.

  • How can I recharge my sim data in the air of the ipad 2 and activate?

How can I recharge my sim data in the air of the ipad 2 and activate?

    Hi asherfromqatar,

The resources below explains how to activate cellular data on your iPad 2 Air service.

Activate the service of cellular data on your iPad iPad, iPad 2 Air and Pro 3 mini or later

Check or change your cellular data plan

To check the status of your cellular data or make changes to your plan, go to settings > cellular data.

To add another data plan to your iPad, tap Settings > cellular data > Data Plan > add a new Plan.

When you activate a cell data with some carriers plan, your SIM Apple could be dedicated to the corporate network. Your iPad is unlocked so that you can buy an another SIM Apple or a standard carrier nano-SIM allows you to change networks. Learn more about dedicated SIMs.

  • If my iPad was purchased by Apple it is locked?

I bought my iPad by Apple for use on the Verizon network. I now want to change provider (to ATT) but want to be sure, can I use it on a different network.

Thanks in advance for your comments!

    JB

iPads sold by Apple are not locked to any carrier.  Just remove the SIM Verizon and get a SIM Apple or an AT & T SIM card.  In fact, since an Apple, once activated on AT & T, SIM is locked to AT & T (the Apple SIM, not the iPad) you may as well get the AT & T SIM anyway. But you can swap SIMs and change of service as often as you wish.

  • Purchase of an iPad Pro with cell phone

I'm looking on Ebay and find a number of iPad Pro which are unable to activate the cell, but can be used in wifi mode, because the IMEI was bad. I thought that all the iPad Pro had an Apple SIM and have been unlocked. Even if it were purchased from Verizon and had a Verizon SIM, perhaps under contract and could not connect to Verizon, could I not put it in an Apple SIM and connect to another carrier such as Gigsky? I guess I don't understand the concept of an IMEI will hurt on an unlocked phone.

You were talking about an iPad Pro, did you mean an iPhone? If someone bought a Pro from Verizon iPad on one of their plans and then default Verizon can black list of the device.

  • Transfer of contact

My father has a new 6 iPhone more and I transferred her liked and signed in his apple SIM card ID. When I did this, it reproduces all the contacts of the family in his phone. We had this problem with the contacts and whenever I see a new contact and I delete it, then he disappears from the phone of my mom. If anyone was wondering, we are all in a family group to iCloud. I just need to know how we can stop the transfer on contacts to another phone of the family we don't want to. See you soon

Well, transfer the SIM card had nothing to do with the contacts. The iPhone does not record anything on the SIM card. If you use the same Apple ID to iCloud, then turn on the contacts will sync them on all devices. This synchronization means that whenever you add or delete a contact on devices, it will be the same on all devices. The only way around this is to use an identifier separate Apple for iCloud on all devices. It will take more work to separate the contacts first, but using separate identifiers prevents contacts on all phones.
