• EPub with Apple Pages centering images

  I use Apple Pages to create an eBook (I know I could have used InDesign, I'll use it for the next!). All the text is there, I used topics, and I am very satisfied with the result. However... When I export to ePub, the images are not centered. They are focused on the use of PDF. Take a look at my settings of the image pages to the following screenshot:

  

  

  The image (this is an example, but all 150 images in this way) is aligned to the Center by using the "Align" function you can see to the right, but when I select 'Center', it does not move (because it is already in the Center), and displays Align. I don't know if it's good or bad.

  

  

  As you can see, the image is aligned to the right when I export the ePub book and open it with Mac iBook. This is exactly the same on my iPad / iPhone. The image fell thus: look at the difference between the pictures shown in the screenshots that I added in this message.

  Well, it's not too late to redo it in InDesign. The following has been done in v5.6.2 on OS X 10.11.6 Pages.

  I inserted and centred on an image in v5.6.2 Pages with above and below the text. The result when you export to PDF showed the image centered in overview and Acrobat Reader. When exporting Pages to ePub3, the image was right-justified in iBooks and saw that centered in Sigil 0.96 and Calibre 2.63.0.

  I decided to see if I could fool iBooks. With the help of Sigil, I added changes in style of book.css and referenced in the chapter file - 1.xhtml. Here, I'm telling you the div containing the image to use 70% of the width of the ePub with 15% margins on each side, apply 1em margin top and bottom margin of manoeuvre. Because the image is inside the div, I'm ordering him to use 100% of the container.

  

  After that I saved these changes in Sigil. The ePub open in iBooks with the centered image designated.

  

  I don't think you can fix this issue within Pages centering v5.6.2 image.

  Hi all

  I've just updated to Sierra, and I can't use the airplay feature. Icon is still in place, I tried to mirror the screen and the Office expanded. iMac connects to Apple Tv, the icon turns blue, but nothing appears on television. It works perfectly with my iPhone. So, my guess is that Sierra is at fault.

  I can connect to my Apple TV very well (mirror or just connected). But once logged in, there is nothing more I can do on my computer. Including disconnect them.   I understand that you are unable to AirPlay from your Mac to your Apple TV.  Here are some troubleshooting steps that I recommend to go through this problem.

  Get help

  I have a brand new computer laptop Mac Book Pro with OS El Capitan, and I am trying to download my pictures from my compact camera Gx1 to the laptop via the camera download cable. Of course I've already installed the Canon Canon Utilities Window /Camera of its CD image software (has been attached to the camera when it was purchased). (The Canon EOS Utility software, which I also installed it, is exclusively for my Canon EOS camera models). However, the download of the image does not work either.

  I'm working on a labview of complex image processing program, and I'm stacked.

  I am trying to build a new program structure where all data, inculding the camera images, through a cluster shared between the VI-s.

  In the pictures below you can see the vi treatment Gets the data through the Camera.Image in an another VI, where the snap is taken.

  In this VI I'm doing a photo analizer algorithm, which is used to work earlier, before using this particular architecture. He was not to use a new reference for each stage of image processing, but here I can't do otherwise.

  Until the VI BCGLookup program goes without any problems, the images in the front panel also seem to agree. After adding another VI, IMAQ threshold VI I can't receive any useful image more, regardless of the type of reference I am using.

  The question is how can I make the block threshold to work?

  Hey guys, I just started my transition from Nikon DSLR to M43 with an Olympus OM - D EM5 ii. I'm having a problem when I try to import raw files into Lightroom. For some reason, Lightroom is not properly rendered preview. As you can see from the photos below, choose 'Fit' is not in fact the image of the loop. In addition, choose zoom 1:1 does not increase my zoom at all. 2:1 and more zoom more, however, it is pixelated. I can't understand why it's different than my Nikon imports.   The preview that appears in the LR 6.6.1 module import is 1000 x 750. I extracted the preview built-in with the help of ExifTool and it is 3200 x 2400.   As Just Shoot Me explained the import module is not the right place to review images. Import all image files in a single Destination folder where you want to keep them permanently (not temporary). At the speed of the import process select under file > build Previews > is 'Embedded or Sidecar' or 'Standard '. Embeded or Sidecar will provide faster import and allow full display screen if your screen resolution is no more than the built-in preview 3200 x 2400 resolution. If your screen is a higher resolution than that you will need to select "Standard". If you absolutely need to examine images for 1:1 you can select 1:1 in the menu dropdown to Import module "previews to build."

  Then use tools compare, choose flag, Star Rating, color, keyword and Collection of the library module to review and organize your image files. Once done, you can select all of the 'set as rejected' beating flag image files and delete them. Julianne Kost has some video tutorials. • Update of Photoshop 12.0.4 - many open windows see the false image

  I've recently updated all my CS5 applications to the latest version. Photoshop (12.0.4) is now showing a strange behavior with several windows open.

  If I select the view > reorganize > float all in Windows (or just drag a window with tabs in a separate floating window) the spectacle of images displayed the same image or that they reflect each other randomly. For example, if I have two images showing an Apple and an orange and they float in separate windows, two windows will sometimes show an orange. If I click on the image of the Apple, the two images become apples. Click again, and toggles the image clicked (so apple.jpg shows an orange and vica versa). This also affects new documents.

  I tried the things:

  1 remove the Photoshop settings file.

  2. performance of the permissions in disk utility and disk checks.

  3 dΘmarrer α leave a backup on an external hard drive Photoshop 12.0.2 clone - everything is fine.

  A possible cause of the problem is that I'm not under a system up to date. I'm still in 10.6.2 (for various reasons: I had read too many reports of problems with updates, so I decided to stay put; if it ain't broke don't fix it, but that could come back to bite me). • Dreamweaver can find unused images in my pictures folder?

  I have a site where the images folder has a number of photos that are either is no longer in use on the site, or have been placed in the folder images for use someday but never selected. I'll have to consider manually to each of them that I think should be removed from this folder by checking the HTML on my Web pages, or is there a function within Dreamweaver that will compare my tags image of what lies in the differences in file and a flag image? Have not found anything on this topic in the help documentation.

  Please make sure you express this concern to Apple.

  Apple is currently estimated that the creator of a document was not important, and that customers want to open all files of the same type/extension with the same application.  (in other words: they have cast all the support for file creator codes)

  Keywords and other metadata:

  • Pictures retains the keywords.
  • Photos retains user-defined securities. Images without user-defined titles show "Untitled" in Photos.
  • Sides of Star migrate as similar keywords in Photos, like '1 Star', '2 stars' and so on.
  • Flagged images migrate with the keyword "Flagged" and appear in the smart 'Flagged' Album in the Albums view.
  • Photos retains most of the metadata. Some metadata, IPTC (International Press Telecommunications Council), including copyright law, do not appear in the Photos. These metadata are always associated with the image, and you will see the applications that show IPTC metadata, such as iPhoto and Aperture.

• Corrupted Aperture library

  I have a large Aperture (430 GB) library, I keep several copies on different disks and Macs. Recently, I applied the operation "reprocess photos" to all my photos in order to take advantage of Apple's latest image processing technology. I had found applying this to a number of photos (versions actually) that there is no significant improvement.  I don't know if that had something to do with my later issue. After doing so I made the mistake of updating all my copies of the same way! But since opening hangs when he is asked to open any copy of my main opening book.

  I applied all three corrective procedures available, namely 'Repair permissions', "Repair database" and "Rebuild database" to my Aperture library, but nothing helped. Opening continues to crash when asked of my working copy or any copy made. My opening application is the latest version of 3.5

  Have you tried to see the previews generation?  You can have an image corrupted in your Aperture library, which cannot be treated.

  To test this, start opening everything and now the SHIFT key. This will stop the treatment to generate previews in the background.

  Opening again, crash, when you start this way? If this is not the case, try to find the image that cannot be treated.
