• jQuery Mobile BB10 theme: the Application (kick-down) Menu

  I use the latest released version of the jQuery Mobile BB10 theme to develop my apps. I have some questions on how to implement the Application Menu (or sliding down):

  1. I understand the instructions for user interface while the Application Menu is no longer an overlay on top of the current screen (because we are used to seeing in the PlayBook OS 2 applications)? Is the Menu of the Application requires to press the entire page (or screen) down to display the menu buttons?

  2. the Application Menu included in jQuery Mobile BB10 theme, or do we need to implement the set up menu and keys by using a custom code? It is relatively easy to implement this function. I just want to make sure my code matches what is in the BB10 theme.

  I don't think JQuery UI BB10 theme includes a blow in the drop down menu, but the implementation of the menu to slide down to BB10 in WebWorks is not set in stone. In fact, it is very expensive (side performance) to go down the whole container to reveal the menu, therefore a superposition of the top does work better in my opinion.

  I am not convinced that a running stream socket connection cause this kind of problem, we run taken all the time.  Also not convinced that the Bitmap is related, if the unit was short memory you will see the hourglass icon all the time that the device is garbage collection operation.

  Your original post said: "application failed".  Normally, this means that something is blocking the event Thread.  It could be your is running on the event Thread, or it is possible that you made a very lengthy treatment on the thread of events.  Be that as it may, I review the design of your application, find out what treatment you do on the thread of events and move offshore.

• I pad 2 mail application falls down on opening - that happened after IOS9.3.2 - currently using 9.3.4

  Double click on the home button and browse preview for mail upward and off the screen to force close the tap simple app. button at home or the home page preview mode.

  Force your iPad to restart. Press the sleep and home for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver Apple, let go and let it restart and see if you can open your mail.

  Go to settings, messages, contacts and calendars, remove your e-mail account information and re-enter the information and see if it opens.

  Please try following steps:

  Close the creative cloud application.

  1. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
     Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
     Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
  2. Delete the file opm.db.
  3. Launch creative Cloud Desktop

• ThinApp'd application causing MS Word license failure

  Any help would be appreciated...

  I have a Thinapp which is used to track donations made to an organization apply.  The Thinapp would app itself works fine, except when the feature to open a "receipt" in MS Word 2010 is used.  The reception is designed to open in Word, but when the document is opened, Word tries to fix the "faulty".

  The following message appears

  "Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this application" a repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user.  The application will now be stopped. »

  Office 2010 is installed on the client computer.  The application when it is run by itself works perfectly well and that the software license has been correctly applied.

  The app was capture with 4.7.1 Thinapp on XP SP3.

  The client runs the application on Windows 7

  Launch of MS Word before running Thinapp had app does not make a difference in the final result

  MS Office was not in the Thinapp project.

  Customer parts have the same version of Office installed.

  1. the Office 2010 is installed natively on the machine.

  2. the request of thinapped launches the native Word.

• Application slows down randomly.

  Hi all
  
  I have an application that runs on the connection and make queries against an oracle DB. Every now and then, for no apparent reason, each request for this becomes extremely slow. I don't know if anyone has had a similar problem.
  
  To do some tests, I created a simple procedure that connects to the DB and the fact even select (select * twice) in a loop for 100K times. I still get the same problem, most queries will instantly, but sometimes in groups of 3 or more, the queries take up to 10 seconds! I don't know what to do!
  
  I have Windows server 2003 64-bit R2 and Oracle 10.2.0.4.
  
  I checked that it is not a network problem (I get the question also on site) or Windows (I have a lot of RAM and free disk space)
  
  Any tips? Let me know if you need more information.
  
  P.s. I can't talk to you about what either the application because I don't know how it is written, and I'm not allowed to know...

  It seems that the problem was the server. We moved the DB to another server, and the problem disappeared. Unfortunately we did not understand why this is a problem on the server. At least we now have an application to work.

• FMS 4.5 livepkgr application breaks down Linux server using any memory

  We run FMS 4.5.7 associated with the application of the standard livepkgr for direct RTMP and HLS (HDS module disabled streamer). For some reason any after 30 minutes process httpd starts using memory system more and more, and in a minute or two, it blocks the server because it completely empty memory. It doesn't matter how many users are connected to the stream. What I've noticed, is that if there is no user HLS (or HLS is disabled) fine, however it is enough to connect at least one user TLS on the server after 30 minutes and the memory usage begins to increase. If the user connects to 0 - 30 minute window it market.

  I tried to play with the recording options in Event.xml for that stream to flow, but it did not help. I tried to save in a file and in segments.

  Our server has 32 GB of RAM.

  We have modified the file of Apache configuration for workflow Sandbox HLS at the instance level, but it should not be a problem, shouldn't it?

  P.S. We also run application vod in parallel for RTMP and HLS vod streaming. RTMP of VSD and CTS works very well.

  After two weeks, I finally solved it.

  Anyone faced with the same question, make sure you have the serial number of the license charge AND fully rebooted server. At least under Linux by restarting the server through Flash Media Administrator Console let some zombie processes running that blocks the license from loading correctly. Restart all OS instead.

• Can a single application cause a different content for different viewers?

  My application needs content customized for 3 types of viewers. Depending on the type of Viewer, the content moves slightly so they can see the type of content that they are intended for.

  Is it possible to create a log in when the application is launched DPS app can determine the type of user and launch content planned for this viewer only?

  Hello, I use the messaging app, and when I opened a text Message, the phone hangs, then stops and restarts.

  All the problems started after I woke up and checked my phone, which displayed the message: "com.process.android does not. So I force closed and restarted the phone.

• VI Analyzer in an application using the built

  I have an application which is designed for a continuous integration server.  This application uses the VI Analyzer API (Labview 2009 for the moment) to run a series of tests on a case of the screws.  The problem is that when the program is run like VI all is happy, that the folder is added using the 'Add VIAn Item.vi' and the task runs on the four VI in the folder.  But when the VI is built and comes as an exe file, 'VIAn Add Item.vi' appears to add the folder but no vi is analyzed and if a specific VI is given then error 53 is thrown by "NI_FileType.lvlib:Get leader Type.vi.  Is it just a case of not being able to use the VI Analyzer API in a built application that is running as an exe?  I have attached the front panel of the application built after he was executed and the rear panel of the source code in question; There is more that the rest is just to determine the paths to analyze.

  OK, it seems apparent to the bad battery. Even thoug, it showed there is 1/3 battery, when some app run (not my own application), it would be off.

  If I plug the charger while test, then no power offshore.

  Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.

  To be able to remove ALL and reinstall all the cables (both ends), card and memory - really remove
  and replace - do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the vents. Check that the
  fans of work (before and after opening the case). If a laptop on what you can do is reinstall
  memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add a small fan as a test).

  This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need the help of a
  real computer store (not of leeks and glances at a Best Buy or other department stores) or the system
  Support from the manufacturer.
