Application size seems to be too large

Hell all - I have a question about the size of my BB application. I searched the forums but did not find anything relevant. In addition, since it is quite specific to my application, I thought I'd ask anyway.

Background:

That's what I have in my application

The application---> Screen1---> popup screen icon---> Screen2---> Screen3

The app icon — 10 KB

Screen1 - disclaimer. Just an ActiveRichTextField with some terms and two buttons (Accept and decline).

Popup screen - a simple popup screen with two PasswordEditFields to create a PIN and two buttons (create and cancel)

Screen2 - login screen with a logo (25 KB) and a PasswordEditField for the PIN. Two buttons (connection and change PIN). Change your CODE launches the popup screen described above.

Screen3 - the real application.

Screen1 and Popup screen above have a common persistent data store with only two entries.

I started my development with Screen3 and later added others. Initially, with just Screen3 and all the embedded features, the app was only 42 KB. But at the time I did add all other described above, the request is passed to 1.8 MB. I am surprised by this considering the fact that Screen3 has quite a few different buttons and features multiple types fields and has been only 42 KB while the addition of these other screens with past very few, the size has increased considerably.

Can someone please comment on this?

If I have not provided all the necessary information, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

check what files are actually added to your project (open the file in a text editor of jdp).

Maybe you have files of version control of files of class or other files that do not belong to your project.

  • Size of the file too large on/after export. Takes too long to download on youtube

Hey everybody! I still have my question answered so I hope you all can help me with this. I intend to upload my videos to youtube, but there is a problem. The size of the file for the aftermath is far too large, so it takes hours and hours to load up on youtube. The size of origin when it's done export is about 2 000 000 KB... I think this is equivalent to 2 GB! It's huge for youtube. Even after that I have to encode it with media encoder, it is still huge. It does not decrease the size of the file about 2 000 000 KB 500 000 KB, which is in my opinion a GB & half fallen out of the original. But I am looking for the size of the file between 300-500 MB when I upload it to youtube. That's about 0.3 to 0.5 GB. I also used the youtube preset in media encoder export. If anyone can help me identify this problem, I would be very happy. Thank you!

Oh it's you... with the expression of timecode. Well I see that you move on! close to there. your screenshots are the after effects render settings and output Module that are relevant to make a file without loss is to say good for further editing or encoding later. We were talking about before Media Encoder, which is what you should use to encode the files (NOT the Codec Mpeg4 that we see here). I see that you have about 5 minutes. If you want to download on youtube, you can use these recommended settings table: recommended encoding download - YouTube Help Center settings. under flow, you can see that the recommendation for 1080 video is 8Mbps. you can use these settings in the settings of your SOUL or the preset default value of Youtube, which is twice the speed of transmission. 10 seconds of HD1080 at 8Mbps is around 10 MB of files. 5 minutes will be about 300 MB. If you choose the preset, it will be 600 MB. shipment of 300 MB with a standard 1.5 Mbps download speed will take about 30 minutes.

If you want to encode your file, you have two options:

1 make your file using a lossless format: Animation of QT for example - then take this file to SOUL and encode using a setting predefined YouTube

    2. make and encode your files at the same time by choosing your publication by clicking on the composition-> add to the queue of the SOUL. Choose the preset of youtube

in these two options, you can see about your final file size - this is an estimate

and after that, you can download your file as expected and win the $$$ that you deserve, if people dig

  • Size of the document too large

I can only view a document for the entire page to 200%.  How to make a full screen the standard 100%...?

    Hello

When you create a new document in Photoshop (File > New), you can specify the dimensions and the resolution of the image, as shown below. You can also resize your document after you create by going on Image > Image size.

Have your document 'perfectly' in your Photoshop window depends on several factors: the size of your application window, the size of your screen and settings, and the resolution of your image. But as mentioned above, the magnification of the image is just a way to display your image - file size you specify really comes down to what you use the image for.

For example, if I created a 50 x 50 pixel icon for my website, Photoshop will automatically open my document to 100% from my area of the image is much smaller than the resolution of my monitor.

I can't go to view > on screen which will make my whole image area fill the window of my application, but it will be the 1520% zoom. My image dimensions have not changed, just the magnification of the image.

Please post again if you have other questions. You can also read This Photoshop help document on the Image size and resolution.

    See you soon!

  • Export the file to help... output size seems to be too much

I have a movie of 12 minutes with audio, video and still images in it.

Currently when I export the file is 865 MB...  I need whether less than 100 with a decent quality.  This is a video tutorial that will be downloaded from the web.

Can you please give me advice on how to do this?  On which variables to change etc.  I don't know if I have it exported out of Camtasia Studio, it is around this benchmark 100 or less... the problem is I don't know what are the settings for the presetting of Camtasia.

    I use the following configuration:

    QuickTime format

    Summary:

    Output:

    1400 x 790, 15 (fps), high quality 100

    48000 Hz, stereo, 16-bit

    H.264

    Source:

    1920 x 1080 (1.0), 24 fps, progressive, 00:12:03:12

    48000 Hz, stereo

    Parameters:

    Video codec: H264

    Basic Settings:

    Quality 100

    Width/height (1400 x 790

    Appearance: Square Pixels (1.0)

Go to maximum depth - "United Nations"-checked ".

    Depth: 24 bit

    Advanced settings

Key Frame, each 1 frame - 'A' checked

    Optimize stills - "ONE" checked

    "UN" reorganization framework checked

    The flow setting:

Restrict flow to xxxx 'UN' checked

Use the highest quality Render - "ONE" checked

    Use previews 'UN' checked

    Use of interpolation "VERIFIED."

    ------------------------------

    The flow setting:

Restrict flow to xxxx 'UN' checked

Check this box and set a value. Bitrate is the main single determinant of output file size. If you reduce the bitrate, you decrease the size of the file, of course, when you lower the transmission speed, you decrease the potential quality of output. • IO error: output file: application.cod too large data section

Hello, when I compile my application using BlackBerry JDE, I get the following error:

I/o Error: output file: application.cod too large data section

I get the error when you use the JDE v4.2.1 or JDE v4.3. It works very well for v4.6 or higher.

I have another forum post about it here.

I also read the following article here.

On this basis I tried to divide all of my application, but that doesn't seem to work. The best case that it compiles for awhile and the problem is that I add more lines of code.

I was wondering if someone could solve the problem otherwise. Or if someone knows the real reason behind this question?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you!

I finally managed to solve this problem, here is the solution:

This problem occurs when the compiler CAP is not able to give an account of one of the data resources. The CAP compiler tries to package the data sections to a size of 61440 bytesdefauly max. "You can use the option of CAP'-datafull = N' where N is the maximum size of the data section and set the size to be something less than the default value. With a few essays on the size, you'll be able to work around the problem.

If someone else if this problem you can use the same trick to solve!

  • I upgraded to Acrobat reader DC but unfortunately the file he created is too large to send as an attachment, how can I reduce the size?

I recently upgraded to Acrobat reader DC, my operating system is windows 7, I have produced a file that I send as attachment, unfortunately the size is too large to send, how do I optimize the file in Acrobat reader, the option does not seem to be available.

    Hi mavisp97650958,

There are two ways to reduce the size of the page: -.

    (1) optimize PDF Acrobat Help. Optimization of PDF files

    (2) Split the PDF split a PDF | Adobe Acrobat DC tutorials

And both the option will work with the application Acrobat products download Adobe Acrobat | Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X, and not with free CD player.

However, you can use the option Send & follow-up to send big PDF files Acrobat help. Send and track large files online using Acrobat Reader DC.

    Kind regards

How can I reduce the size of an e-mail signature because I am told that it is too large, truncated?

    original title: email signatures

How did you compose the signature?  If you have used the word or some office products, its probably loaded with unnecessary code.  In Word save as html, but use the filtered HTML and which should reduce the size.

All you really need is the basic HTML code such as:

    This is a signature.

    Here's a picture:

You can copy and paste that into Notepad and add some text, formatting, and images you want.

The max on most email providers is 10 MB. The only way that you could share this file would find a download site that allows to host this file. You can do a search for hosting sites and find one that goes on your needs. Once you download the file to the single copy of the site the link and give the person who you want to initially by email.

  • ORA-12899: value too large for column (size: 30, maximum: 25)

    SUBSTRB uses the same syntax:

If chopping byte characters does not mean that you could end up with a partial character at the end for example if each character 2 bytes, then the last character would not that it is the first byte, so wouldn't an entire character.

Depends on what you actually try to reach by taking the partial strings.

Keep in mind, with the UTF8, you could have up to 4 bytes of length characters each.

Combine files and now it is too large to send. Is there a way to reduce the size of the file converted into Adobe?

    Hi yodonna,

Adobe Reader does not reduce the size of a PDF file, such as Acrobat. But, you can download this file to your Acrobat.com account and create an anonymous link using Adobe send. Then you can send this link by e-mail. You can access Adobe send to https://cloud.acrobat.com/send. Create an anonymous link function does not require that you have an Adobe membership send.

VMFS needed his own space for metadata, and you have not left a lot to her (26184-26176 = 8 MB).  You need a minimum of about 500 MB - is better around a gig or 2.
