Applications in conflict

Hi all

I have two applications that run on the device "BOLD" 8900 (Simulator). If I or the other of them ran everything first then start up another, I will get NumberFormatException (get "Eception exception: null, ' if I click continue). If I remove one of them, the other will not work. So, there must be a conflict between these two applications.

Both of my applications use PersistentStore to save data, but I attributed to different ID for them. It is the only point that I can guess where the problem comes from.

Any idea or suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Jimmy

RuntimeStore can also be shared.

Do these classes of shares of applications - in other words, is there classes in both of which have the same package name and class?  If so, given that alone will be responsible, you can use the bad for the other class since the BlackBerry JVM will load only one of them.

You say that you get a NumberFormatException.  You can do this bug until the line on what happens.  Does that help?

  • Application tries to connect to a type of bad plan

    Hello

I just found a very unusual thing on my Hyperion Planning (11.1.1.2) installation.
I created two applications with two different plan types and contours (a group).
Now, when I'm working with the second request (created later than the first), it's all right, but when I opened one, it displays a list of the forms of the second request and says that it cannot connect to the database of hyperion.
I checked in the EA and all seems fine (first application exists and has its own type, second plan also exist, with the appropriate plan type).
Guess the problem is within Shared Services, is I not?
I also checked the shared application groups Services and found the plan type artifact is, for the purposes of foreground of the second type.

The obvious question is how to solve the problem?
The second question is what may have caused the problem?

Thank you in anticipation of your response
    Marcin Stawny

    Hello

You must have a schema that is separate for each application of planning in other applications will conflict, probably as you see now.
It may be in the same oracle database (I used the term database because I didn't know if it was oracle or sql server you were using) same database, separate schemas.

    Ok?

    See you soon

  • YouTube and Skype in split screen

So, I found a strange bug on iPad Pro 12.9. If you watch youtube videos and pull the Skype on the right side of the screen (even without typing the bar), the sound becomes very muffled and distorted.

The sound bug prevails even after that you get from Skype or restart youtube. Only time (a minute or two) solves this problem.

I don't think that it is a "bug".

Skype also needs the use of speakers, and you can't have two applications that need access to the same material audio and speakers and microphones at the same time.

This isn't a bug, but a hardware conflict.

I bet that the same product, it you are trying to use the music or any audio application / radio when you try to use Skype of Facetime.

These types of applications are conflict / competition for the same resources.

    You can't do that.

You cannot use both apps audio together try to use the same internal hardware audio or even Bluetooth audio sources simultaneously.

  • decoding error 330 in Internet connection

I recently installed the new internet equpment (modem & flat) to go beyond. Since then, I was not able to use browsers to search or even connect on some Web sites.  The error message returns: with Internet Explorer, it is: error 330 (net::err_content_decoding_failed): unknown error with Firefox, it's: content encoding error,.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid form or not support compression.,.

Chrome error message is the same and underneath, it gives the error message 330, decoding failed: unknown error. It seems that Yahoo plays a large role in these error messages. My home page has been set to yahoo, but when I couldn't access the internet, I changed my MSN home page that loads correctly like Bing.com. However, when I click on Chrome, it starts to load immediately, but there is an additional tab behind which is trying to load yahoo.com. I searched everyplace in my computer and deleted everything that has to do with yahoo, but it always seems to remain a thorn in the foot.

My support of technique of the internet provider says my DNS is set to automatic and everything is as it should be. They may not trouble shoot browser errors because it is a third party.  It's at first thought that I needed a new router because my old one was a 'g' configuration and the new system like a configuration "n". Bought a new router and installed. Nothing has changed. It works fine, but neither my husband nor I can do research online or join some websites, we could already. We can send and receive emails, but that's all.

How can I fix the compression error message so I can use internet as it is supposed to be?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

It is perfectly understandable that you're very upset by what is happening.

One of the components of the Internet connection on your computer is a package of instructions called TCP/IP. TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or altered. If you can't connect to the Internet and you have tried all other methods to solve the problem, TCP/IP can be causing it.

Method 1: You can try to reset the stack TCP/IP go to this article and either click on "Fix it for me" or follow the instructions to fix it yourself:

When you try to restart Windows 7 I get a message "waiting for Local RFP Avatar, this program prevents closing of windows.  I was not aware of having an Avatar or what one is in terms of PC operating systems.  Is - this developer of malware?  Any problem with just executing a hard stop and restart?

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

There could be a possibility that the third-party application are contradictory.
I suggest you to start your computer in safe mode and check if you get the same problem or not.

Start your computer in safe mode:

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

If the problem does not persist in safe mode, I suggest you place your computer in a clean boot and the devil who the third-party application, is conflicted:

    Perform the clean boot

Place your system in the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
     https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/929135

Note: See "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to prepare the computer to start as usual after a repair.

I also suggest you to use Microsoft Safety scanner and check if there is a malicious software on your computer.

    Run the Microsoft safety scanner.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • Why has my Windows 7 Home ceased to recognize the Fat32 drives?

Until a few months ago, my Windows 7 Home had no problem reading disks formatted FAT32, including my HTC Incredible phone. But now he wants to just get myself in shape every time that I connect them via USB. The same readers are very well read by my laptop Windows 7 Starter and a Windows XP computer. I even tried connecting to a Windows 7 computer to work, and he wants to format the drive as well. I was installing a bad update or it will be a fix soon?

    Thank you.

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

From your description, I understand that Windows 7 does not recognize Fat32 drives.
