  Hey, I don't know exactly know what happened with my phone. Suddenly, my microphone work on LINE, Whatsapp and almost all other applications that use mic. Except, camera and when someone call me on my number.

  But it does not work on whatsapp and LINE calls. And it also does not work when I snapchat. Only works on the default camera Apps and call through my number.

  I tried:

  -restart my phone

  -hard reset and blink? Reset with the power and the "home" button.

  -read the micro support page. Still no solution.

  TL; Dr:

  my microphone does not work on every apps on my phone except calls through number and approx. of default camera it gives you just that silence when I play it on voice notes. But it works when I record yourself using videos on the default camera app.

  I see from your post, some applications have a problem to access your Microphone. I know how it is important to ensure that your applications have access to the Microphone and can use this feature. I have a few things I want to try.

  First, tap Settings on your iPhone and then scroll to the last section that lists your apps. Select the applications that use the microphone and make sure that the Microphone is activated (green).

  Then, follow the steps in the article below to close these applications:

  Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  Then, test the microphone in these applications again and see if it works.

  iTunes does not sell at apps for your computer.  All applications are for iPhone/ipad/ipod.

  You will need to check the requirements for the application know what version of iOS is required if you want to use on your iPod.

  Solution 1: Update the drivers

   

  (1) the Device Manager open, either by right clicking on computer and then click on manage, and finally on Device Manager, or by typing devmgmt.msc in the box then find (or run) on the bottom of the start menu and press ENTER.

  (2) find the ipod, he (should) be listed under digital cameras, right click it and choose "update driver software".

  (3) select "Browse my computer for driver software".

  (4) for the location (you must have already installed itunes) use C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers (replace C: for what is the letter of your system drive), and then click Next, windows will find the driver here and continue to update the driver

  Hi, I bought a gen 6 new sealed iPod Touch on ebay ever used. Today, I opened to the touch and there iOS 9.0.1, I wanted to date, but not for iOS 10 because apple got rid of slide it to unlock. so I registered in the device with my apple ID 9.0.1 Open GarageBand and a few other iLife on the device to check. Then, I used itunes and put the 9.3.5 ipsw image for restore the ipod to do this any of the ilife applications were there, so I went to the app store and assumed that they would be linked to my account and I could download them, nope, they wanted to buy them from me. I went on the chat of apples and bounced to another representative, I spent 1 hour literally on the cat and they were never able to tell me if they could add apps to my apple ID. I am out of luck here or can someone help me because I thought that ilife apps etc. garage band notes came with a new device from apple for free.
