  Dear all,
  
  Need of your advice to AR R12 installation package. What should I know before install module AR depending on the situation as below,
  
  1 invoice information will be imported to the AR of a legacy system module. As I understand, it can be done through automatic process of the Bill. If different accounting rules must be applied to each line of bills, we need to define the accounting rule earlier before the importation of invoices? or we can change the billing transaction after import the invoice? Please advice.

  Hi Mish,

  (1) If you need different accounting rules to be applied to each line of the invoice, you will need to set accounting rules before you import the invoice. You will not be able to assign billing rule and accounting to the Bill, after it has been imported in the AR.

  (2) If you want to identify invoices from 2 separate legacy systems, you can use either both transactions different sources or two different types of transactions. Look at the attributesof the types of transactions and the sources of the transaction and you will be able to decide what you should use.

  If you need two different accounting rules, you don't require not necessarily two different sources as mentioned in the answer. In the management of the source of the transaction tab, you do not set the accounting rule. You specify only if you will use the value of the rule or ID in the ra_interface_lines_all table. The accounting rules are defined in the configuration-Online Transactions-online accounting rules.

  What are the values in the table ra_interface_lines_all will depend on how you set up your source of the transaction.

• Problems with WLM 'message rules' which doesn't seem to work!

  Now, I wonder if the switch to Win7 and WLM wasn't actually a half a step back.

  Seems to me that get the "functional" rules was a half-hearted attempt.

  I'm sorry that you are having problems with message rules.  I just created and tested one like yours in Windows Live Mail, and it worked as expected.

  Check the description of message rule and ensure that all of the conditions are good.  Try to specify the name of a person, not an e-mail address, for the line where the of contains people .  I recommend always including "Stop treating more rules" in the list of actions.  When you apply the rule, make sure that you selected the correct folder in the menu apply to the folder .

• Accounts rules/profiles

  I have a doctype Setup (doctype1). Under the rules, I've added all the fields I want to users to see including the security group field, which is limited to a single security group. Given that the doctype1 can belong to only one security group. It works very well and I want it.
  
  The problem I have is that I'm not able to do the same thing with the accounts. When a user clicks on the "Check-In" > Document Doctype1 at the University Complutense of MADRID, he evokes the model where the fields like security, author, document Type group are already selected and are not editable. I'm trying to do the same thing with field accounts, but it just never works. According to the rules, I already have the installation of field accounts Info only (or even editable only) and he gave a short list and default value both the same, but still it is not really SELECT automatically. If the editable user must click on move to the bottom and select the value and if Info only, it's just does not do anything, just blank. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  Some things to consider:
  1. ensure that the user has access to the account that is in the drop-down list (for example, RW during archiving)
  2. ensure that the field account is not the same as being "crushed" by a different rule
  3. make sure that your idoc is in the proper syntax, as bad idoc can cause the empty values... Check your logs & the server administrator to see if you get output errors. For example,.<$dprDefaultValue="TEST"$>
  4. make sure you have the latest patches (less likely the problem)

  Check if your account is online in other cases, the type /showplaces on any chat box.

  If the number of endpoints is greater than 1.

  Type /remotelogout on any chat box of 2 - 3 times.

  Set your status invisible/off connection then disconnect

  Why did you do that? If it shows the State of activation lock as off, then put it in recovery mode and DFU mode and restore iOS using iTunes.
