  is incremented for each backup set. The value of the counter starts at 1 and is
  unique for the lifetime of the control file. If you restore a backup
  control file, then duplicates can lead.

  I just downloaded all 5 files required for Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium. When I "open" which I suppose is the installer - DEsignWebPremium_CS6_LS16 - I get an error message: "the file archive Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium is missing. You need all the parts into the same folder in order to extract and CS6 Adobe Design and Web. You can download all the parts.

  The installation package usually comes in two files on Windows...  You must have both files uploaded in the same directory before running the .exe file.

  To install Photoshop or Premiere Elements for windows, you will need to download the exe and 7z files. They usually end up by ISO download folder unless you specify otherwise.  Just make sure you put the two files in the same folder and double-click the exe file to install. Don't forget to download the version appropriate depending on whether machine you 32-bit or 64-bit.

  and you got this after you install the DST update? you've seen this error in the log of hotsync, right?

  try to HotSync again and see if the error will be gone. This usually happen once only, so in the next hotsync, it will be successful.

BUT I do NOT turn flashback, I mean no RVWR process. However, my archive files go to two places, we need log_archive_dest, other we're going to the area of flashback.
  Why go to two places? I expect to archive logs only go to log_archive_dest, not flashback arae since I turn on flashback.
