Are there keyboard shortcuts to navigate through layers of fireworks?

In Photoshop, ' option-[' or ' option-]' allow you to select and down of layers from the keyboard, are there any equivalent shortcuts in Fireworks?

By default, I don't think that there are shortcuts to do this. However, John Dunning has created a series of custom orders, Frame and layer, including Go Up and Down * to go. These are free, and once they have been installed, you can assign keyboard shortcuts for them (under the Fireworks > keyboard shortcuts).

http://johndunning.com/Fireworks/about/FrameLayerUtils

You may also like to know that the FW has a tool select behind (it is under the pointer tool). I personally don't use it, but it allows you to click on an object on the canvas and select progressively the items under this object.

*A warning about scripts: 'Go Up' and 'Go Down' orders don't seem to work on my older version of fireworks (FW8). Also, I forgot to Photoshop and Fireworks to use different terminology. What we call a "layer" in Photoshop is called an "object" in the FW, and what we call a 'group' in Photoshop is called a 'sex' in FW. As a result, orders of John layer may or may not allow up or down objects within layers, but they should allow you to move upwards or downwards the layers themselves (aka folders).

  • How to change the keyboard shortcut to navigate through the tabs open in PS and AI CC 2014

I'd love to put my own keyboard shortcuts to navigate through tabs open in PS and AI 2014 on OS X. I found out that this can be done with ctrl + tab to the PS, but I couldn't manage to make suggestions to the work of the forum of the AI. As said, I would like to define a 'standard' shortcut more like alt + cmd + arrow key at the same time of applications. If this shouldn't be possible, does anyone know a shortcut in AI CC 2014?

    Thank you very much!

In Illustrator, in my view, you can set these shortcuts in Edit > keyboard shortcuts > Menu commands > funny

    (illustrator can be also command-F6)

Fact command + ~ (tilde key) work for you in photoshop and illustrator?

I don't think you want to use alt + cmd + arrow key since it's repositioning/moving objects

  • Are there keyboard shortcuts for the axis of the world / Local axis controls?

... because I can not find them, and I use them a lot now.

Once you get the hang of the use of the Orientation to control cameras (well - to control a null that your camera related to), you can make beautiful crane movements / orbit. They end up feeling more pleasant that the help of rotations Euler as AE calcs them with quaternions, my camera follows 'Grand circle' paths rather than separately by interpolation of axes. Sometimes the effect is subtle, but sometimes it is a huge improvement - particularly if your camera moves near one of the poles.

But the Orientation is difficult to manage in the settings - it's much easier to hit 'W' and use of the manipulator in the shape of cross on the screen. If I have a typical camera-> setup cameraRotNull, for orbiting around an object, I'll always want to control the height of my camera directing the series zero his local X axis, but the rotation of the camera around the object must be done using the axis Y in the world.

So a lot of switching between local and global.

    Any help?

  • Are there any shortcuts keyboard to place the office in mode 'sleep'?

Are there keyboard shortcuts can I use to place my office in mode 'sleep'? All mouse and/or the shot is a bit back when it takes literally 2 seconds to do it on a keyboard.

I've only played with Windows 8 for a week and I'm already screaming, "Microsoft!" PLEEEASE release a version of Windows 8 for DESKTOP computers (aka 8.1)! "IF you do, I can finally replace my droid with MS OS ones.

When I use this command my computer enters hybrid sleep mode and shuts down completely, it can only be awakened by pressing the power button / stop and wait while the UEFI BIOS load and Windows load before the resumption of the session. If I use the sleep command in the menu of Windows, the computer goes to sleep with the power light on the computer slowly by Flash and it can be awakened by pressing any key on the keyboard.

Why this happens and I can control what state the computer goes in with a shortcut (vs hybrid sleep sleep)?

    I use a motherboard ASUS Maximus V 8.1 Windows 64.

EDIT - this site seems to have a solution. I opened a prompt with administrator privileges and run the command:

    powercfg-hibernate off implementation

Then make a shortcut with this command:

    Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState sleep

The first time I tried the shortcut that put the computer in hibernation. After using the powercfg command, he seemed to sleep properly.

Just understand this point, it is CMD + "(le ~ clé)."  It's a really bad choice part of Adobe, and I can't understand how to change it.  It should be CMD + PgUp and PgDwn (it's darn near impossible to hit Command + SHIFT +' to save tab).

Let me know if find you a way to change it.

  • Keyboard shortcut to move the layers?

Is there a keyboard equivalent for the displacement of the layers upwards or downwards in Illustrator, rather than drag? We receive some exported from ArcMap .ai files that can contain dozens and dozens of layers, and there are times when it would be so much easier to select the layer and press keys to move the layer upwards or downwards in the stacking order. Photoshop has this feature, but I can't find it in Illustrator.

Thanks, Mike... that's all I could find, also, but hoped it was some little-known keyboard shortcut that was available.  I appreciate your response and will convey to our people. Perhaps the Illustrator team would plan to implement this on the road. I'll mark this "correct".

  • What are the keyboard shortcuts to use the component feature snap-in in Windows 7?

One of my windows program jumps constantly at my primary monitor after clicking on apply. He does not easily slide back, Yes, is there a keyboard shortcut, or can I do a keyboard shortcut to send the BACK window?

Try pressing the right arrow Windows.  The first time, the window should anchor right on your screen, do it again, and it should move to the next screen.  This work only, however, if the window is resizable so that Aero Snap can "seize".

Otherwise, there are some public services that can help.  Some are provided with manufacturers of graphics card dual monitor, but searching for 'send to the next monitor' should find some other useful applications.  Your mileage may vary if, as these other 3rd party utilities may have the same inability to 'catch' the window.

  • Are there ways to create keyboard shortcuts in Windows Explorer?

    Hello

    My OS features:

    Windows XP

    Professional

    Version 2002

    Service Pack 3

So I do not know when Microsoft has implemented it (maybe?), but I was looking for a way to create a combination of shortcut keys which would act as the 'Alt + arrow up' in the newer versions of Windows...

If your are unsure what I mean (explanation below):

In more recent versions of Windows, for example, when you use Windows Explorer or when you're on IE and that you want to save a file using the "Save AS" function to 'Browse' to a place, you can use the combination of 'Alt + arrow up' key to go back one level in the current window/folder.

I know, in Windows XP Explorer, there is a button on the "Standard toolbar" makes this exact function, but it's so much more convenient to use the keyboard shortcut to do this.

Does anyone know if a way that I could implement this in Windows XP?

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Here are the keyboard shortcuts which works for Windows XP. You cannot customize the shortcut, as is the design of the operating system.

  • Keyboard shortcut for fill with the color layer are opposed on my PS CS6 OSX install help?

    Hi all

I'm kinda a noob and following a tutorial... and found something strange and I wonder if you could help me understand what is happening.

I have Photoshop CS6 extended on a macbook pro (late 2011).

    I am running OSX v 10.7.5

I'm the long and the instructor has added a new layer. I did it.

He then filled the white layer which is its background color (it has foreground black, white background). I have same evidence / background colors.

Now I thought on mac to fill with the foreground color, you hit Apple + Delete and to fill it with the background, press Option + delete

It's the exact OPPOSITE for me. I hit Apple + DELETE (or even BACKSPACE) and filled it with my background color, which is white

If I hit Option + DELETE (or RET.), filled it with my foreground color.

I tried searching in the area of keyboard shortcuts change... but I do not see these settings anywhere.

I have an external keyboard plugged into my mac. It is a 3rd party one, but seems otherwise never function normally.

    Keyboard here is: http://pckeyboard.com/page/UKBD/UB40P4A

Any suggestions why my shortcut keyboard for a fill with the color layer could be reversed?

    Thanks in advance,

    CC
