  I have a Portege M800, model PPM81C-05C020.

  My problem is that the light above my touchpad dims and then gradually turns off completely. When this happens, I can't use the touchpad. Fortunately, I have an external mouse plugged in, but when the Synaptics mouse turns off, it also slows down my computer. I type this post very slowly and it still takes forever for words on the screen to catch up as I type.   Hi Lenovo community!

  I just bought Lenovo Thinkpad T450s from their site. He has a problem with the light leaking around the frame of the display, especially the lower part of the frame. I saw a PC Mag review which mentions this same problem. I wonder if there is a problem with other machines of T450s, and if there is a fix for it.

  I'm trying to contact Lenovo support as it is a brand new system, but I would like to know if any other T450s owners experience this problem, or if it can be a general problem with the thinkpads or notebooks from Lenovo in general.

  the envy of hp dv7-7302eo, I bought yesterday and I can't get my touchpad accent light work. I don't know if my laptop has it but I read the user guide and it says I should use the hot keys fn + space bar but I tried and it still does not work. so is my touchpad broken light accent or?

  Looking at the specifications Page for your laptop, it does not come with a light Accent Led - this would normally be noticed the subtopic "Pointing Device".  For example, see the entry for this laptop that does not have a border light.
