  I have a HP DV9724tx T7700 core 2 duo with 3 GB of ram with 32 bit Windows Vista Home Premium.

  On December 2009/January 2010, there were five windows updates published by Windows. These are:

  -Updated fo filter junk e-mail in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (KB977840) - haven't managed to update this a single OK

  -Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB979202) - reinstall it froze my screen

  -Cumulative Security Update for IE8 for Vista (KB978207)

  -Update for Vista (KB972270)

  -Windows malicious software removal tool - January 2010 (KB890830)

  When I installed these updates, restart the screen would be artifact (blocks, lines, random colors) and then finally hang / lock the entire computer. Using system restore several times at a much earlier date made this judgment.

  I disabled since all the Windows automatic updates and the system is stable (but not up-to-date).

  Yes, I have installed the latest graphics drivers for the video card 8600M GS 512 MB (updated NVidia to Dec 2009). Still can not update Windows.

  Any ideas? Are all other HP laptop owners suffering from this and they were able to find a solution of HP or Windows?

  Never, EVER use system restore to 'Cancel' an update, Service Pack, or upgrade of IE!  Instead, uninstall the update, Service Pack, or the IE patch & reboot.  If that does not resolve the problem, then try System Restore.

  A few weeks ago, I have a problem with Dual core boot and the frequency of the dynamic processor - laptop boots up to 6 minutes on WinXP clean and 6 hours to install
  WinXP on own laptop.
  When ONLY a core value and a constant frequency in BIOS - laptop runs well, but on 1 core 1.73 Ghz dual-core CPU

  It is difficult to say what is causing this problem, but such objects on the screen are normally associated with defective graphics card or wrong display drivers.
  I initially update the display driver, but only use the driver from Toshiba. Other drivers are not pre-tested and from my own experience, I can say that they could cause problems.
  Check this box!

  Regarding your CPU question I have no idea but if everything works at the moment it of pretty well! :)

• Artifacts of the screen when you use the stamp tool

  Has anyone seen this?

  When I use the stamp tool I get all kinds of objects on the screen. Weird thing is when I do a screen recording of it, it's much less obvious but nonetheless still there. If I want to make a screenshot of it he disappears as soon as I touch the screen capture key (cmd-shift-3) or toch any key.

  So I had to take a picture with my phone:

  

  I tested VRAM / my different applications with dedicated GTX680 GPU / benchmarking utilities and results all seem well, games work fine, any application that uses my GPU works very well. Except of course Illustrator, which crashes all the time when you use GPU performance. And now Photoshop.

  I'm on Mac OS X Photoshop CC 2015.1.2 10.11.3, and the last 346.03.05f02 of Web Driver nVidia.

  It seems that it is. I had the form of the word NVIDIA, they were able to reproduce to the issue and they are working on a fix.

  I have Toshiba Satellite X 200-15 K, two days ago, I have problem with screen, the screen I have noise, I think it's the same error in my display driver and I have stop near windows xp and try to after 1 min, but the screen has more noise when the startup boot image and I stop by button / stop on laptop.

  Then do what I ve tried again to turn on my laptop but on the screen, I see only artifacts (same squadrons of colors) and after that, my laptop can not work, I tried to power on him but I only power led and HDD light works only 5 sec and after off the coast, and the cooler works 5 sec too and after offshore.

  I tried to remove the battery and the RAM and the wireless and all that I can :), but nothing happens, but when I try to power without RAM I see on power light beep two red and two yellow (IE my motherboard work).

  Maybe it can help me. I think I have dead motherboard.
  And for me, it is interesting that someone may have similar problems.

  You had a few artifacts on the screen, and now, you are not able to start the unit.
  Nothing appears on the screen; Neither the Toshiba start screen appears is good?

  Hmm seems material issue I m thinking about GPU (graphics chip).
  What do you think of this?

  If it's really a problem of graphics card, then you will need to replace the motherboard.
  In most cases the chip belongs to the mobo anyway... something like this can be done by an ASP in your country.

• Satellite P200-RT3 - the screen turns black during the Vista installation

  Laptop worked very very slow for a while (everything worked very well - just very very slow), so I decided to restart costs after the support of all my data to the top and make the factory since HARD drive restore.

  The recovery is going very well and then after restarting Vista and is preparing to launch for the first time (prob trying to load the graphical interface of Windows), display dies - black towers with some artifacts along the top of the screen. Restart in Save Mode does nothing once it is in mode safe is it says that "Windows is unable to complete the installation in mode safe process - please restart." Restart normally translates into artifacts, like LKG configuration.

  Think something went wrong, I did the whole process again with the same result...

  Thinking the recovery partition is buggered, I grabbed a Vista Home Premium disk and installed from there... same result.

  Think display Vista drivers are buggered, I installed XP Home to rule out the possibility of a crystal display liquid buggered... XP installed fine.

  Try the recovery again... no luck.

  Just FYI: you can create a recovery disc yourself. You know about it?
  You must only start the Toshiba recovery disc creator, which is preinstalled on your laptop. You can find it on start > programs > TOSHIBA.

  The Toshiba Recovery disk contains an image of the factory settings and it s identical to option HARD drive recovery but the drive erases the entire HARD disk.
  In my opinion, the disk is very useful, because if your drive HARD get faulty and you need a new one you can restore the settings from the factory with this disc.

  Anyway, if you have a problem during the installation of recovery, you should go to an authorized service provider. It could be a hardware malfunction, because a mistake shouldn't t normally appear due recovery facility.

  Hi, I would like to calibrate two monitors, a new U2415 and a three or four-year-old U2412M. I saw the documentation for a tool of Reference called Dell Dell Ultrasharp Color Calibration System (DUCCS), but I am unable to find a download for it on the Dell site page - other links I found simply go to the launch of Dell support page.

  The oldest set U2412M to the point an artifact pronounced as a task of water on the right side (as U2412M that guy) and it moved slightly purple. The new U2415 seems that it might be a bit too yellow. They are quite different side-by-side, and I would be recognizing a tool that can help me calibrate the two as well as possible.

  Unfortunately, neither the U2415 nor the U2412M are supported by DUCCS. You need search and purchase a 3rd party colorimeter and software to calibrate the screens. The burrs on the U2412M is the default of yogore / mura and it cannot be resolved. Everything what we would have done is Exchange under the 3 years warranty period purchased.

  You must call the method Screen.invalidate instead of Screen.doPaint.

• X 301-intermittent garbage on the screen

  My new X 301 laptop is having a few intermittent display problems. On every 6th I have bring back from sleep mode, the screen becomes dotted with small artifacts, commonly in vertical columns.

  Be patient and the connection doesn't help only a full restart restores a polished display.

  I did all the tests of the system and all hardware components come out perfectly.

  Support call was not... good. They had me install an older version of the driver that caused the screen to wash completely, I had to use a Windows restore point to get the display to appear with the normal color and contrast settings. They were completely indifferent in looking at the pictures that illustrate the issue better.

  Does anyone else have insight into this? Sounds to me like it might be a hardware problem.

• The images appear when printing that are not on the screen

  Sorry if this has already been covered - I can't find an answer with any of my research...

  I use Indesign CS3 in a Vista environment.

  I created a document in CS3 that contains images tiff, jpeg and pdf placed in it.

  Everything looks fine on the screen, but when I print a test in black and white on my HP laserjet pages contain an image where a 'ghost' of the image above it on the page is printed on it.

  "Ghost" images are always compensated by about 1/3 - 1 / 2 of the picture, they are printing on and disappear if I move the image of the 'ghost' comes off on the side.

  The "ghost" does not appear on pages where there is one picture above the other, does not seem to be limited to some combination of file types.

  It is not on the page outside a rectangle areas encompassing.

  I've tried mucking around with some print settings, but my knowledge is a bit limited in this area.

  This happens if I print all right out of InDesign or if I export the document as a pdf and print from that.

  I've never had this problem before using previous incarnations of this software and you want to go coloring print until I know if this might just be an artifact of the test B + W printing process, or if it's something else.

  First the good news. It's not your software, everything works fine.

  Now, the bad news; It's the printer... the easiest way to make sure is to print it on a different printer.  The fact that you barely notice it's probably because your pinter gets older, or need some replacement of consumables.

  As to how to solve this problem there are not that many, you can do it, you might try to print either way up, according to your location of the image, it would be not so sensitive.

• Access code is lost as soon as the screen turns off

  When I turn my wrist after that my Apple Watch screen exploded, I need to enter the access code. I turn on the wrist, the screen turns off, I turn back, screen lights up, I need to re-enter the password. And so on and so forth. The watch does not maintain the code.

  I am white white, is not dense hairs on my wrist, no tattoos and I wear the watch very well on my skin.

  The funny thing is: it is a replacement watch, I got today. The other had the same problem, but this is probably because the bottom of the watch with the sensors fell, must have damaged the sensor cable. But this one is brand new.

  No, it's always in the same way, may need to adjust how you hold on this application, so it wiggles, instead of the 3d button.

• IPhone crashed the Middle updated and now stuck on the setting of the screen!

While trying to update my phone, it crashed at halfway. • Presenter PowerPoint on Mac mini mode displayed on the screen and the projector when using HDMI splitter

  We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

  It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

  When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.

  Of course if we have to use the MacBook for presentations instead of the Mac mini, you would need to have seen the presenter on both the screen and on the screen of the MacBook.

  In the Mac mini display preferences there is no button to "Gather Windows" when the Mac mini is attached to the screen and the projector via HDMI splitter is a tab "setting."

  But these two things appear on the MacBook when it is connected.
