AS the color of the rectangle fill

Hi I want to set the fill color of a rectangle with applescript:

say application «Adobe InDesign CS4»

Activate

put myRectangle to rectangle 1 page 1 of document 1 whose label is "testa"

set the fill color of myRectangle to "C = 20 M = 100 Y = 100 K = 10.

end say

It does not work.

Help, please

Thank you

It works if there is a shade of color match with the name 'C = 20 M = 100 Y = 100 K = 10'. (Name with color value is enabled in Options of nuance).

  • Cannot delete the rectangle / cannot recolorize filling CS3

    Hello

    I created a rectangle rounded by a line (first layer) and I, select it and click on delete, it does not remove.

    I also tried dragging the layer in the tray to remove, but the summer is not get it!

    Is it my photoshop being capricious or y at - it an explanation for that? Please help me.

    Also, I want to know how to change the color of a rectangle after that you created.

    Thank you

    For some strange reason, this does not on my side!

    If your background is locked, the rectangle will fill with the background color you set in your color swatch on the toolbar when you press DELETE.

    If you have set with the fill pixel option, the fastest way if you don't need the white background would be to start with a transparent background.

    This will give you a transparent background that is unlocked. If you do not need the white background, create a new empty layer and use the rounded rectangle tool to drag your shape on this new layer.

    If the rectangle is applied to a transparent layer, you can ctrl-click on the layer thumbnail in the layers palette to select this option. There are many ways to recolor. If you want just a solid color fill, you can try to use the paint bucket to fill with the foreground color selection in your Toolbox. It is certainly not the only way to recolor the rectangle that is just one of many. (Alternatively, you can lock the transparency of the rectangular layer in the layers palette and just empty the bucket without having to select. (See below.)

    Personally, I prefer to use the shape layers option. This option creates its own layer using color is defined in the options bar providing it is not a game of style in the options bar. If I change my mind after dragging the form, I can change by double-clicking on the thumbnail of the shape in the palette of the layer that shows the color picker. More importantly, I can resize or change the shape without him degrading... get soft. If I need to make pixel based to apply a filter or something else, I can do a right click on the name of the shape layer in the layers palette and select "Rasterize layer"

  • Define the pattern fill and gradient with color

    Hi all!

    This is my first post in the forum of fireworks. Also, this is the first time I'm using Fireworks 8. It's a bit like Photoshop and Photoshop, I can do a fill with a custom pattern by creating a template and do a 'use as motive' and selecting this model and do a fill with it using the bucket fill and then by selecting the model, and fill with a gradient (such as blue-white)

    I'm trying to do the same thing with Fireworks 8, but I don't know how. First of all, I created the template in a file separated and saved as a PNG image then in Fireworks, bucket filling (not degraded bucket) on model and then click 'Other' and opened upward model that I created and I filled the area that I wanted to. Now, this is the part that I can't figure out how to do. My boss is points spaced with 1 pixel between each point. I want their gradient fill and I can not blend them. Any help? Thank you

    Hi all!

    In fact I just understand how do.

    Once I made the filling inside the Rectangle, I flattened selection, took the magic wand to select and did a reverse selection filled with gradient with the color I wanted and I checked in the properties of the gradient tool marked "selection of filling" and it worked. I don't know if there is an easier way to do it, but that's how I thought of it.

    I'm trying to use pathfinder to merge paths with the same colors. I have a lot of colors, so that Select > same fill color would solve my problem, it is very slow.

    In the menu selection, we can separate the other fills with transparent route objects, I hope.

    As I said, we must look outside the native features of Illustrator to select by compound path.

  • Change the background fill color based on Radio button selections

    Hello

    I am very new script in LC, so I hit a wall on my last form. I am creating a form with a scale of 'leikert-like', however one of the stipulations (from my boss) is in this context of buttons are to be filled based radio which button is selected.

    For example, Question 1 has 4 radio buttons to choose: poor, fair, good, great. If the person completing the form selects poor, I wish the poor to fill background color. If someone chooses right, I would like to than this background color to be filled, as well as the background of the poor. Good selection would fill the colors of good, fair and poor; and selecting the big would fill the four colors.

    Someone has ideas of how / if possible? In my first tests, I got the button itself to change the colors, but not the background fill (which can be changed manually on the border palette).

    Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    Aaron

    Here is the code that you can use in the event of modification of the ExclusionGroup (title default RadioButtonList) object. It is the parent of each individual option button object.

    for (var i=0;i

    This also assumes that the value of each option button is sequentially numbered from 1 to however many boxes option you have.

    Now, here's the thing. I'm assuming that each radio button has a different color. You might code for the colors yourself in JavaScript, but I manually chose the colors through UI Designers. Once all the colors of radio buttons have been defined, select a radio button and go see > XML Source. Where we see the element, add the presence of the attribute = "hidden". Do this for each option button. Here's what I mean:

    Since you extend DefaultTableCellRenderer you even not need this code. Simply invoke:

    super.getTableCellRendererComponent(table, value, isSelected, hasFocus, row, column);

    at the beginning of the method and the rendering engine all the properties will be set for you. Then all you need to do is to format the text.

    However, if all you try to do is the format of the text there is a simpler solution. Instead of override the getTableCellRendererComponent() method, you can override the method setValue (...).

    See [url http://www.camick.com/java/blog.html?name=table-format-renderers] Table Format converters for an example that uses this approach. Table Format Converter contains an example of creating a rendering engine of percentage. Of course these converters assume that the code is of the same type. This isn't a good idea to mix Integer and String data in the same column.

  • sql/PLSQL algorithm: is a rectangle filled with the other rectangles

    Hello
    I have 2 tables: T1 and T2:
    with T1 as
    (select 2 FromPeriod, 4 ToPeriod, 10 FromSum, 12 ToSum  from dual)
    select * from t1;

    with T2 as
    (select 1 FromPeriod, 2 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 5 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 1 FromPeriod, 3 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 4 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 5 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 11 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 5 ToPeriod, 11 FromSum, 12 ToSum  from dual)
    select * from t2;
    FromPeriod, ToPeriod are positive whole number without decimal point.
    FromSum, ToSum are positive numbers can have the comma.

    Table T1 contains unique in the columns 'FromPeriod-ToPeriod' points, that means that is there is a record where "FromPeriod-ToPeriod" = [2-4], then it is certainly not rendered as "FromPeriod-ToPeriod" = [1-4] keys wich [2-4] period, such a thing is not possible in table P1, it contains only unique periods that do not touch. Then the records with periods [2-4], [5-6] are ok in there.
    But table T2 allows periods affecting somehow. You can see that T2 contains "FromPeriod-ToPeriod" = [1-2] and also [1-3] that touch each other.

    We can look at the two tables T1 and T2 as rectangles where X - axis is the values of the axes and the "FromPeriod-ToPeriod" is [FromSum, ToSum].
    I need sql/plsql algorithm that returns true if the rectangle of table T1 is discovered/filled with rectangles in table T2. If the rectangle in T1 is completely filled or even more filled than necessary, then algorithm should return true. If even a small neighborhood in rectangle T1 is not filled by rectangles in T2, then the algorithm must return false.

    As see you in the sample data, T1 has a rectangle: [2-4; 10-12] T2 contains 4 mentions that fill/overdraw this area defined by T1. So for the moment the algorithm must return true.

    I do not know how to write effective elsewhere such algorithm, can you help me?

    --
    At the moment I only came with such algorithm/query:

    Test1: this test should return true:
    --query: is rectangle [2-4;10-12] filled? -Yes.
    with T2 as
    (select 1 FromPeriod, 2 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 5 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 1 FromPeriod, 3 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 4 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 5 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 11 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 5 ToPeriod, 11 FromSum, 12 ToSum  from dual)
    select * from t2
    where (2 <= ToPeriod and 4 >= FromPeriod) -- x-axes overlapping
    and (10 <= ToSum and 12 >= FromSum)--y-axes overlapping
    ;--2 rows

    --

    2     5     9     11
    2     5     11     12
    I takes as input the T1 table horizontal axes (2, [4]) and research data table T2 that affect this horizontal axes, also the value axes is compared. But how then? There are 2 files, but it can give 10 stores overlap in the periods and amounts. How to determine now that rectange T1 is filled?

    Test2: This case should return false:
    --query: is rectangle [2-4;10-12] filled? -No.
    with T2 as
    (select 1 FromPeriod, 2 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 4 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 1 FromPeriod, 3 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 4 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 4 ToPeriod, 9 FromSum, 11 ToSum  from dual
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 5 ToPeriod, 13 FromSum, 13 ToSum  from dual)
    select * from t2
    where (2 <= ToPeriod and 4 >= FromPeriod) -- x-axes overlapping
    and (10 <= ToSum and 12 >= FromSum)--y-axes overlapping
    ;--1 row.

    2     4     9     11

    Charles,

    I see 2 choices, but none is likely to evolve very well. The first can be with SQL - subdivision T1 into unit squares and see if everything not covered by T2:

    with T1 as
    (select 2 FromPeriod, 4 ToPeriod, 10.1 FromSum, 12 ToSum from dual)
    , T1X as
    (select (FromPeriod+level)-1 as Period from T1 connect by level <= (ToPeriod-FromPeriod)+1)
    , T1Y as
    (select (FromSum+level*.01)-.01 as Summ from T1 connect by level <= (ToSum-FromSum+.01)/.01)
    , T1XY as (select Period,Summ from T1X,T1Y)
    ,T2 as
    (select 1 FromPeriod, 2 ToPeriod, 9.99 FromSum, 10.1 ToSum  from dual--satisfies sub-region [(2,2);(10.1,10.1)]
    union all
    select 1 FromPeriod, 2 ToPeriod, 9.99 FromSum, 10.11 ToSum  from dual--now satisfied sub-regions: [(2,2);(10.1,10.11)
    union all
    select 2 FromPeriod, 2 ToPeriod, 10 FromSum, 12.01 ToSum  from dual--now satisfied sub-regions: [(2,2);(10.1,12)
    union all
    select 3 FromPeriod, 4 ToPeriod, 10 FromSum, 11.99 ToSum  from dual--now satisfied sub-regions: [(2,2);(10.1,12)],[(3,4);(10,11.99)]
    union all
    select 4 FromPeriod, 4 ToPeriod, 10 FromSum, 13 ToSum from dual--now satisfied sub-regions: all filled, return true
    )
    select Period,Summ from T1XY
    where not exists (
    select 1
    from T2
    where T2.FromPeriod<=T1XY.Period
    and   T2.ToPeriod>=T1XY.Period
    and   T2.FromSum<=T1XY.Summ
    and   T2.ToSum>=T1XY.Summ
    )
    ;

    The second option is more inspiring you described, using a recursive algorithm to subdivide the T1 into small rectangles for each rectangle in T2. For example:

    X(1)={[a,b;c,d]}

    Y={[e,f;g,h];[i,j;k,l]}

    X(2)={[a,e;c,g];[e,f;c,g];[f,b;c,g];[a,e;g,h];[f,b;g,h];[a,e;h,d];[e,f;h,d];[f,b;h,d]}
    or
    X(2)={[a,b;c,g];[a,b;h,d];[a,e;c,d];[f,b;c,d]} -- this gives some overlap, but fewer rectangles and the algorithm still works.

    You would have to refine it to handle partial overlaps correctly, then drop areas that don't have a positive area. If
    X(2) becomes empty then it is fully covered. It might be most efficient to sort T2 in order of descending area.

    Kind regards
    Bob

  • You want to know why the icons displayed for only some bookmarks and how to replace the rectangle with an icon dotted valid in these cases.

    As explained in the question, some of the icons for sites appear only as a dotted rectangle. There are several favorites that have been imported from a html file and some of them have no icon showing on the list of bookmark or toolbar for Firefox, but they did it on the original browser where they wre imported. As a general rule, the icons 'fills' when each of the imported sites are visited some do not no matter how many times visited.

    I checked to make sure that the fonts and colors are chosen by the site server, so this isn't the problem.

    Although it is a function a little cosmetic (navigation works fine, just no icons), the icons site much faster recognition visually, making the browser it much faster and easier on the eye.

    Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated for a user of Firefox "second-time-around."

    Firefox normally restore the favicon if use you this bookmark.

    Ideal if you publish your web site and post a link.

  • The effects will not be displayed on the Rectangle

    I work with Illustrator cs4. I'm doing a flyer to be printed and saved in PDF format. I drew two rectangles with the Rectangle tool in the context of the simple design. I have their color and then applied the effect water effect paper > Photoshop - Sketch effects. My boss would like rectangles of a different color. When I change the color, the effect is no visible solitaire, except on the edge of the forms. The effect still appears in the appearance, under Fill Panel, however. When I change the color on the back, the effect is once again visible. I can add the effect to all rectangles drawn in this color. All rectangles drawn in other colors will not display the effect more often at the edge of the form. What happens in the world, have I done to make this happen?

    In the options of paper water decrease the setting of the brightness to about 46.

    That should cure your problem with the Green object.
