AS3 script for editing audio files-

A wav or mp3 file will be saved or various. Y at - it script to change these files in batch, that is to say: to cut the beginning IE: no sound parts. Or would I need to use a sound editor. As I say, I don't want to do it manually. It sounds like a stupid use, but it is important that I have children themselves taping and cannot use a product of the 3 part to change. AIR got something in an API.

See you soon

  • Creating a bar of the Volume control for multiple audio files

    I'm pretty new to Flash and developing a project with a series of images containing unique video clips. Each of these frameworks are accessible via a menu based all chapter in being visible straight like a regular movie. I just added the audio for each 'chapter' / framework, all of which are unique from each other. I'm having a problem with the creation of a volume control bar that affects all the sound elements throughout all the images in the control bar unique on the General interface/skin that these chapters are working on. (With the help of Flash 8)

    I developed a sliding control bar, that works, but does not affect the volume, somehow. Is there something wrong with the coding that I use? (The control bar consists of a button nested in a clip and the action is applied to the mc. The bar/line to follow is 60px banner for a long time and control is to move horizontally while the increase reflects the increase in the volume. The original code was for a 100px line leave a tutorial from macromedia that I adjusted to be 60px banner) advice on best practices for the creation of a volume control bar would be greatly appreciated! (I currently have all of my audio files on separate layers, should I be placing these in a mc rather than just having them on the main timeline?) Thank you!!!

    Answering my own question...

    Each individual swf has the code...

    var my_sound:Sound = new Sound();
    my_sound.loadSound ("someSound.mp3", true);
    my_sound.setVolume (50);

    Code on the shell/main drag...

    OBJECT SOUND
    var sound: Sound = new Sound;
    soundtrack.setVolume (50);
    END OF THE SOUND OBJECT

    GLOBAL VOLUME CONTROL
    var nVolCheck:Number;
    volSlider.volBall.onPress = function (): Void {}
    this.startDrag (false, 0, 0, 0, 75);
    nVolCheck = setInterval (updateVolume, 150);
    };
    volSlider.volBall.onRelease = function (): Void {}
    this.stopDrag ();
    clearInterval (nVolCheck);
    };
    function updateVolume (): Void {}
    var flight: Number = (volSlider.volBall._x) * 2;
    soundtrack.setVolume (flight);
    };
    END OF THE GLOBAL VOLUME CONTROL

    My bar is 75 pixels in width and volume is being increased from 1.5 to peak.

  • OFA confuses me - why the points for editing data files 3?

    Hello

    I met lately about this statement:

    Table D-7 shows a hierarchical mapping of files of a compliant installation OFA sample with two directories of Oracle base and two databases. The database files are spread over three mount points, / U02, /u03 and /u04.

    of http://docs.oracle.com/html/B10811_05/app_ofa.htm

    My question is:
    Why three mount points (/ u02, /u03 and /u04) for the data files? Don' understant this.
    is it not better to store all the data files in a mount point?

    Although separate mount points don't necessarily mean that they are mounted on different tables, or readers, what examples are involving. Systems are often configured in this way for a number of reasons such as performance or recovery (ie. multiplexing of your recovery logs, or by placing data files for certain tablespaces on their own tables or units). The documentation is illustrating how be OFA compliant in this scenario.

    I think a filter to get, maybe all the VM which appear as an RDM or shared vmdk and filter those out of the collection of Get - VM.

  • Workflow for editing PDF files program

    Can anyone suggest a good application repository with the approval workflow that will allow editing of a pdf document without having to download the pdf file and download after marking? The workflow should be sent by e-mail to each reviewer in sequence, so after the first examiner makes a change, the e-mail will then automatically, go to the second reviewer; and so on.  I tried SharePoint, but editing within the browser does not work, and editing with acrobat requires the pdf to download locally.

    Thank you in advance.

    It's not possible to edit the PDF file online, you will need to download the PDF and then modify it using Acrobat.

  • Cut audio files to one video file and edit in an audio editor?

    With the help of pre 9 and a video file of the Nikon D7000: is it possible to cut the audio portion of a video (where the sound was recorded in the camera and is part of the import), change in an audio editor (like Sony Sound Forge Studio), then paste it in the clip?

    I use the method of Steve all the time and edit output audio in Adobe Audition. You want to share export/PCM/wav 48 kHz 16-bit and keep this time format and back in the meadow. Don't forget that you will work with an Audio file, it is full (or almost) duration of the timeline. When you import this edited Audio file, give the program a few moments to conform that newly imported PCM/WAV for editing. I suggest not to touch the computer until Conforming finished 100%, and the small progress bar in the bottom right of the graphic interface disappeared. If the imported Audio file is short, and your computer is fast, you might not even see this progress bar, but the Conforming took place, all the same.

    I like to keep the original sound on its Audio tracks and just use window > Panel Audio Mixer to cut what the track (s), leaving only my Audio published on its own track uncut. It is a "fail-safe," just in case I change my mind along the way and want to return to the original Audio for some reason any. It is much easier to turn off - turn on the sound, only to pick up all that the original Audio once again.

    Good luck and happy editing.

  • Determine the audio files and corresponding slide # in presenter

    This is a great challenge to edit audio files.  Presenter costs number not in the order of the audio files, they seem to be random.  This means that you have to hunt and peck to find the right audio file to change to the appropriate slide.  Any fix for that?

    See, now, we're getting somewhere!

    When I wrote this line after publication of audio files (ex: a24x [some] .mp3), I was referencing the .mp3 files, you get following the publication , the bridge using the card presenter PPT in.

    However, as you wrote:

    "... Each of these mp3 files also has a *.lthmb file (for example 1088225537.mp3 a 1088225537.lthmb) correspondent... »

    what you're watching is the folder that Presenter creates the moment you start to integrate audio using the recording feature which offers presenter (the same would be true if you have imported audio files using Presenter as well.)  And, as you have discovered, trying to get a handle which audio file will w / a particular slide is horrible at best.

    Okay, may I suggest another tactic?

    Let's try this: bridge to publish the PPT you have.  What you'll end up with is a set of files and folders, but I want you are looking for the data folder that is created as a result of the publication process. (Unless you specify where you publish, presenter will publish in a folder named "My Adobe Presentations" by default, so you will need to get there on your hard drive)  Inside the data folder will be a list of mp3 files, which, if all goes well, should make it much easier to see what audio is used by a specific slide.

    Here's what I mean: for example, after the publication, I have a folder of data and inside, I found the following file: a24x9x3.mp3 I double click the mp3 file (making it play using Windows Media on my laptop), I hear that it matches my slide 9 in my PPT game.  And it's corresponding mp3 files for each slide, I have in my game.  I'm clicking on another file (wouldn't be nice to see what I'm doing?) a24x20x3.mp3 and this file is the contents of my 20 slide in PowerPoint.

    Yet once, give a publication in PowerPoint and see if it makes easier.  Well... not nearly as easy as recording in Soundbooth/Audition/Audacity, but it's pretty close I hope so dig you out of this hole you now.

    What you will do, is add the PlayerListener and / if you have in your loop code would go in the treatment of the END_OF_MEDIA event. Once that noise has stopped you will start the next sound and add the listener of player.

    //Declarations
    PlayerListener pListen;
    String mp3 = "";

    ..........
    ..........

    pListen = new PlayerListener(){
       public void playerUpdate(Player player, String event, Object eventData) {
          if (event.equals(PlayerListener.END_OF_MEDIA)) {
             if( mp3.equals(test1) ) mp3 = test;
             else if( mp3.equals(test2) ) mp3 = test3;
             else if( mp3.equals(test3) ) mp3 = test4;
             .........

             InputStream stream = (InputStream)this.getClass().getResourceAsStream("/" + mp3);
             p = Manager.createPlayer(stream, "audio/mpeg");
             p.realize();
             p.prefetch();
             p.addPlayerListener(pListen);
             p.start();
          }
       }
    }

    InputStream stream = (InputStream)this.getClass().getResourceAsStream("/" + mp3);
    p = Manager.createPlayer(stream, "audio/mpeg");
    p.realize();
    p.prefetch();
    p.addPlayerListener(pListen);
    p.start();

    So, add the try-catch blocks.

  • How to use a value of a string variable as a sound (like an audio file link name) class?

    Hello

    I need to use the value of a string variable as a binding name of any sound in the library, I have this code:

    var SoundArray:Array = new Array;
    SoundArray [0] = "S1";
    SoundArray [1] = 'S2 ';
    SoundArray [2] = "S3".
    var MySound = new SoundArray [0];
    B1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, PlaySound);
    function PlaySound(event:MouseEvent) {}
    MySound.play (0,0);
    }

    where S1, S2, S3 is the name of the class in the name of link for 3 audio files in the library.

    I get this error for the line of code:

    TypeError: Error #1007: instantiation attempted on a non-constructeur.

    Sorry, sorry, sorry
    the error was not from your code, I had fixed and it is the right code:

    var soundClass = flash.utils.getDefinitionByName (this.) V_Source) as class;

  • Options for adjusting the audio files on several scens

    Hi all.

    I just did a search for information on this question but couldn't fine anything specific to what I'm looking for. If there is already a thread that deals with this issue please feel free to point me in that direction.

    I use flash cc. I have a .fla with 8 scenes (apparently I shouldn't use scenes as they are outdated now, but I find it more practical to scroll through thousands of images and test only small portions of the video together. "I just saw something combining .fla smaller and separate files so maybe next time, I'll try).  I have a lot of sound files embedded throughout these different scenes, each of them worth 'stream '.  There are a lot of voiceover and synchronization of the lips of character during several different layers.  So far, the time is fine and playback is fine on all scenes.

    However, a friend who helps me with the said sound individual files need a lot of work (i.e. to change the volume (and perhaps EQ)) for some of them.  I could go back through each layer/instance and the volume individually but that the process takes time and, for some of them, the volume is already contributed to the maximum in the envelope and yet they need to be stronger (or doctored EQ), which means that their manipulation in hearing and then re - insert back into the time line.

    This is my basic solution I want to fall back on if there is no other choice for a faster process. All audio files are .mp3 or .ogg.  Ideally, what I'd like is a way to extract all the sound elements of the .fla, (while maintaining the timing of each file compared to the other), in hearing as a session multitrack so that individual files can be modified accordingly and then reinserted back into the .fla and when is not affected.

    Something tells me that is not particularly realistic depending on how flash works with scenes.  I've only worked with flash for about 5 weeks, so my experience is quite limited.  Any suggestions on how to make this task easier, even if only a little?

    Oh, it's another solution, that someone suggested that, rather than insert the file itself in the line of time (from the library) I could insert a bit of actionscript code that points to the location of the file.  This way I could load all the files in audition manipulate them, then save them with the location where the points of actionscript and the timeline would automatically update accordingly.   I don't know if this is a solution for my situation even though I understand actionscript is very versatile in this way.   However, I also read that actionscript can confuse the calendar sync sound/animation on several stages, when it is piled up all together at the time of publication.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

    There is nothing wrong with scenes, they are very useful at the same time. People who say do not use maybe never had cases that show the utility they are.

    If you use the stream for the lip sync, you should have stayed with WAV, which is much easier to manipulate than the MP3.

    External MP3 with the code reading would have been almost impossible lip sync.

    The fastest solution would be if you had external files you imported originally, then you could take those by hearing and import new files to the library, to replace those who was there.

    If you do not have the external sound files original there is a trick that you can do. Go into every scene and make an orders/convert to other Document Formats/HTML5 Canvas. A little whim of the converter is that it converts the level you are and any FLA (unless you happen to the next level.) I hope that you will get this scene as a HTML5 Canvas in Florida you can then do a test movie, and it will publish to all the sounds in a folder, ready for Audition. You can find the file names have changes, and you need resolve names before you import the new sounds into the AS3 FLA, give them correctly.

    If that sounds intimidating, install Flash Pro CS6, what you can do on the part of previous Versions of the CC/Apps tab. CS6 you can right-click on each sound in the library and edit it in the hearing. Unfortunately, this requires hearing 9.0, which you would also need to install the previous Version of CC/Apps (and it will overwrite your current version). I ee who's here is 9.2.0, which I think might work.

    So, to find the sound files original would be the easiest way, and moving by HTML5 Canvas might work more easy to reinstall CS6 and hearing 9.2.0.

  • T400 adding 2nd HD for audio files, any PERSON using Ultrabay Adapter II successfully?

    I use my T400 to record the audio in my project studio. I would add a second HD for audio files and the content of the programmes.

    After some searching of web and because of my current installation, would like to know what additional HD system would work well. I'm happy with my system, but see some stuttering and dropping out of school. I run a MOTU light Ultra in the 4 pin F / w.

    1. I can use the Ultrabay, with SATA adapt II to drop in Seagate Momentus 7200, SATA300, 320GB, which hopefully will be compatible. I saw a post that this works like SATA300.   2 I could use a glyph Portagig 7200 RPM 320 GB, 800 F/W or USB as an external hard drive. I need Garland who at the MOTU F/W400 to connect, I'd be from ports. I don't know if USB would be as good on transfers.  NOTE: My Card/Bus Express slot is in use for other attachments.

    Is someone using a second HD with any one of these methods successfully?  I would go on the road II Ultrabay adapter, to be able to use my other attachments when editing.  CD/w could come back when I need to burn a finished product.

    No matter who sees all conflicts, I, as a beginner, do not see?

    Thank you

    Thanks to all who responded.  I was out of town, without my password.

    I started to pick up after a previous thread by Dr. Khan, stating that its SATA 300 disc had worked. So thanks to both for the

    But, seriously, I recently returned to the field / natural records, particularly indigenous and endangered forest birds. I am quite amazed at what I can get out of this PCM recorder (Oly LS-10 w / depth of 24-bit 96 kHz, AudioTechnica and Sennheiser microphones, Sony flat). Workstation is with WavePad for a function I use, noise reduction and then Raven for sonogram analysis and noculars. I looking for something that compress the "echo" the file and did not find something suitable. The Oly came with Cubase LE 4 of Steinberg, and I get a little, um, stunned, when I look at that too long. Newbing all over again, so maybe you have suggestions? The long-awaited T400 replaces my current T41 which, well, gets a little upset at times.

    Yes, I the Oly LS-10, a very good hand unit.  I also received the Cubase LE 4, but for me, its got a steep learning curve.

    Much more easy DAW is all on a single page of Mackie Tracktion 2 or 3. Very easy to learn and your final product will be just as

    professional such as Cubase. If you learn Tracktion, you will have an easier time with the more complex Cubase.

    So, to be on the safe side with the T400 Ultrabay, you could buy the new disk of 320 GB at 7200 RPM Lenovo announced in January.

    I didn't know that Lenovo made a great and fast.  An option, if it is near the level of Seagate.
