ASIC - instance R12Vision

Can I configure the CAWC instance to collect the data of two M1 (Saettle Manufacturing) and E1 (vision Germany) at the same time?

I want to simulate this scenario:

ohnhand exist for item in Germany, but not in us OU.
sales order is created in M1.
on hand for later us only but this offer must be attached to the sales order and NOT the Germany on hand.

I want to apply the constraint of geography here.

Thank you

  • ASIC can run on the same server/db like EBS (R12.1)

    Hello

We have an EBS (R12.1) environment and intend to use the CPSA. I've seen environments where the CAWC runs in its own environment/database, etc. and connects to an instance of the EBS. Which is the only type of available configuration or can CAWC run fully within an environment of EBS/instance on the same server? If so, what are the consequences of such a configuration, for example on the performance.

    Thank you

    NAT.

    Hi Nat,

ASIC can be configured in two ways:

1 centralized - where the EBS and VCP reside on the same application server.

2 decentralized - where the EBS and CRS are on two different application servers.

Basically the motor nucleus of CPSA of planning does all the planning in the memory of the application server (and not in the database). This planning process is highly require a lot of resources (memory) and requires a huge memory (according to the data, the type of plan and many other factors). If the application servers are not the right size, this led to the poor performance of the application. And if both the planning and EBS reside on the same server, there are possibilities that you slow the global treatment through the functions of the company. That's why decentralized architecture is preferred, where the planning process running on another remote computer of your EBS and it didn't there in not affecting transactional modules.

Beyond that, you have the ease of maintenance in terms of correction, update, addition of multiple of VCP modules, if you're on a decentralised architecture.

Centralized architecture is also not rare. Many companies run their planning and EBS on a single machine.

I hope that the above gives you a point of view, using which you can choose what suits your business best!

  • Multiple instances of Setup running

Recently, my MacBookPro11, 1 8 GB has developed some problems. I suspect that they may be related. The version of the OS is El Capitan.

First every so often (recently once or twice per day) the error dialog appears saying that my boot drive is full. On checking "about this Mac - storage ' of course the 250 GB drive shows full. Quit all programs and restart puts the use of return to normal, about 41 GB of free. Sometimes, he returned to normal even without having to reboot. The difference is in the "other".

Secondly the visualization tab of storage on the activity monitor the memory pressure often goes in the red, and everything is slowing down. Upon inspection I noticed there are three instances of 'Install' to run each of them called for 5 GB. Leave these puts back pressure in the green. Each instance seems to start arbitrarily. Files for each instance are:

    /Volumes/Installer/Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/AppNOS

  • Firefox Sync gave a new facility with no priority of settings or default on an established instance

I created Firefox on a new Windows 10 PC setup and activated my account Firefox Sync on this instance.
When I got back to my regular desktop PC, I find that Firefox has acquired the new PC settings rather than on the new PC acquire the established PC settings.

I was expecting the opposite to happen.

While the installation of new PC would have parameters of age "more recent" the established PC that was put in place several months ago and on technical, the most recent stamp usually takes precedence, in this case, where the settings and installation dates are only minutes apart, that the direction of the synchronization must to were questioned and confirmed.

    Thank you.
I did it via the proposed link.

  • FF42 Desktop icon opens is no longer new instance (FFwindow) in the box of Win7-64...

In FF versions prior to version v 42, by double clicking on the icon on the desktop FF has always opened a new window, even when other instances (windows) to browser FF were already open.

A that the behavior is deprecated in v 42?

I tried to recreate the shortcut by using the two methods; "Send to desktop" and "create a new shortcut here." No method had no effect.

    TKS in advance

Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.
Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

    • Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
    • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected

  • How can I hide/show toolbar again operate independently on multiple instances of firefox?

I run two instances of firefox.exe. One for the left monitor and one for the right. There is a toolbar that I want to see on the right screen, but I don't want to see it on the left screen. This used never to be a problem, but it is now. It seems as if well now why show/hide toolbars are inextricably linked, and by changing or watching a toolbar on a single instance simultaneously causes the exact change even on the other open instance. I'm hoping that it could be a simple solution to this effect in the subject: config, however, I would rather not tamper with these settings until I'm sure that settings with the fix for this particular problem.

Thank you for your attention and for taking the time to read this post.

    Sincerely;
    DC

Toolbar settings are common to all windows open in this instance of Firefox.
I don't know if there is an extension that allows to fix this dependent window, so you can check the website of modules.
If you can't find one then you would use a second instance with its own profile.

You can add - no.-distance to the command line to open another instance of Firefox with its own profile and run multiple instances of Firefox at the same time.

  • Question about multiple instances of Thunderbird running at the same time

I read that when you start Thunderbird by clicking on its icon or the shortcut must only load once, even if you click on it several times. It should be just a window of TB. If I click on the shortcut/TB desktop icon, it behaves like that. I can click several times and that a single TB window will open and be active.

However, if I run the 'quick launch' TB on my windows 8.1 (or no matter what windows) taskbar, I get mulitple TB windows to open, as much as I want. So if I click on TB icon in the quick launch once, I get a single instance of it. Twice, I get two, and etc. In the quick launch any program behaves like that. He starts programs with a single click and launch again and again.

Only, I click it once and get an instance which is good and how it should be. But this behavior with the quick launch is ok? It must do this not with Thunderbird? Thank you.

There is usually no advantage by running multiple instances of Thunderbird, unless specifically do you these race with different profiles. In practice, if they are allowed to use the same profile, the first Thunderbird should should acquire the profile and therefore block the others, although this may not become apparent until you try to salvage something, for example, a message, or to change certain settings.

Your multiple Thunderbird work successfully? They all show the same mixture of accounts, folders and address books? Can all or part of them save and make changes?

If this is the expected behavior, (i.e. some "typical" windows) I do not like; He does not play well with profile blocking and I think that lead to problems.

  • Why is firefox updated by another instance?

clicking on help - about - getting the above message?

You have separate users on the computer that Firefox is updated by another instance? If so, check to make sure that they are not in the middle of the update of Firefox.

    Have a great day!

  • Multiple profile + no instance of blocking

I'm a developer working on Linux, and I have 2 profiles: Nav (normal Navigation) and Dev (developer profile).
I have not found a way to run these profiles independently and in a way NO BLOCKING.

I mean... I launch Nav, and then Dev and I want to see them open in separate windows. And rerun Nav and Dev they BOTH must not say 'there is another instance... ', they have to open again (in a new window or the reuse of the existing).

The solution with - no.-remote is not OK, because it blocks the opening of the 2nd instance.

Basically, I have 2 icons to Firefox, and at any time, by clicking on an icon should always open the right profile regardless of what is already open. I don't care if it opens a new tab or window.

    Kind regards
    Rik

Hello, Rik, developer edition of firefox runs in a separate default profile:

  • Should there be two active instances of Adobe Flash player when using Firefox for windows?

Firefox (35.0.1) used my resources to i7 CPU like crazy lately, slow down the loading of the page, scroll, etc. I am running windows 8.1. When I went to Task Manager to see what was causing the slowdown, Firefox took 44.8% of my CPU, and I noticed that there two instances of Adobe Flash active at the same time when I'm on enough image/video heavy pages like Salon.com. These two took about 5-10% of CPU. Then came in the container for Firefox which was an increase of 2.4%. Is this normal?

IF you have more than one plugin flash on a Web page, this is normal.

The fix I used last time (completely uninstalling and reinstalling in Mode safe) * did not work in this instance. *

33.1.1 Firefox version now, everything seems to update but I still get this message. When I open help > about he says: I'm the 33.1.1 version and restart to upgrade...

Save the installer complete your computer somewhere. Open your
file browser. Go to the folder of the computer program. Search all Mozilla
and Firefox files. Rename them by adding .old to them. Restart
the computer again. Now, try the full installer.

Will make cela a try and report.

  • Forefox will not work after the installation of XAMPP, just repeat me there is already an instance running even if there is no

Firefox is no longer works on my machine. I'm on vista Home premium 64-bit.

I installed XAMPP on my pc so I could run wordpress on it. XAMPP installs the server apache, mysql and php on the pc. Once this is done, I discovered that I couldn't use firefox or my windows mail more.

The two programs kept saying there was already an instance running, even if it was not. I restarted the pc but still had the same problem, so I uninstalled XAMPP / wordpress etc and tried again, still no luck.

I uninstalled firefox then downloaded again, he always tells me that there is already an instance of firefox running, and it does not start.

I tried to reboot several times but you can't get firefox to work.

I solved the problem of mail to rename the windows mail folder, and then import the messages. Maybe something similar would work with firefox?

    Any help much appreciated.

You have the Firefox icon in your quick launch? Right-click
on the top, and then select Open a new fenΩtre. Sometimes, it works.
If it opens, close it by Menu > file > output.

  • Very slow even with instances.

Hi all, I am trying to compress a bunch of my own videos to save space. I have the compressor 4.2.2 on El Capitan 10.11.5, latest version of the software. My specs are:

    iMac 5K end 2015

4 GHz Quad Core i7, hyper threaded to 8 logical cores

    32 GB of RAM

    AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB

I export source H.264 in MPEG-4 h.264. I'm very slow sometimes, and this becomes even slower when I add an instance. Also, I edited the .plist preference file for the compressor and added more cases that I have been authorized by default because it was not maxing out my CPU. If I have 1 instance (as the compressor allows me) or 4 instances (which uses 90% of my CPU in the activity monitor), it seems much slower than the single instance. Why? My iMac is the most high-end model and a 8 logical cores, how is it unless its slow export when I use more instances? Its already very slow with just a single instance. How to speed this up?

The Mac Pro is the most high-end model.  When transcoding to H.264 format, use not all instances.  The CPU has a built-in H.264 encoder that uses the compressor.  So bodies indicates compressor to ignore that and just do it via the encoding only software.  The speed you get is the speed you get.  Without knowing the length of your videos, what are their original format and the codex, or how long they take, I have no way of knowing if your Mac is slow or if you expect too much of him.  This information would be useful.

    Back to SeaMonkey yet.

    Much thanks ideato.

There was no possibility of not installing the update (in custom installation) as in the installation from the heel, but I went ahead anyway.

  • Downloaded files open in multiple instances of excel

Whenever I have download then open the file in Firefox, it opens in a new instance of Excel. So I only am not able to move the data to the other workbook that I had opened previously and have to save it first, then reopen in the same instance. How can I force it to open in the same instance?
I didn't have this problem before with Firefox, it worked just how I wanted. But suddenly something changed about 1 month ago (unknownly) and I have to go through an extra step to save and then reopen each time. I searched the Web for similar problem but no permits.
I don't have this problem with Excel itself. (what double-click on the files it always open in the same instance) In addition, there is no such thing as the same problem on my other computer (with the site Internet/Firefox), so I'm just amazed what part has caused the problem. I tried to reinstall Firefox, restore all default. But the problem still exists. I don't remember changing any setting when this problem started to occur. Any help is appreciated!

You downloaded the file and save or opening in a program?
