  I want to know what type of ram can I use upgrade.

  No, it will not work. DDR3 won't work at 1.35v and your laptop will provide just 1.35v. You must DDR3L.

  According to crucial, your laptop can handle up to 16 GB of RAM, so a 4 GB with an 8 GB stick should be good.  But the two should be DDR3L

  It seems that the 4 GB is the maximum (2 GB in each slot) that is supported in this laptop and installed equipment.
