Note the ODBC for Windows server 2008 64-bit driver
Hi all, :-)
I hope that some of you are able to help me, because I'm stuck in a situation which is very frustrating.
My server configuration is:
Microsoft Windows 2008 64 bit server,
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
Via this server that im supposed to to connect to several databases IBM Lotus Notes 8.5, which are placed on other servers.
I would like to install the latest driver for Lotus Notes ODBC (8.5.1) and use it for links between Lotus Notes databases to SQL Server.
When I run the Setup, I get a dialogbox with installation information. He says that this anomang installation was successful.
My sequential current problem is, that I'm not able to see the driver anywhere. (througt datasources or c:\windows\syswow64\odbcad32).
Thanks in advance.

SQL 2008 32 - bit for VUM 5.0
Hello-
For AUVS 5.0 database, SQL 2008 should be 64-bit or 32-bit will work? VUM server work on Win2K8 R2 but will demonstrate to a 32-bit SQL 2008 DB running on another system.
Thank you.
Check the VMware product interoperability matrix to check your exact version, but there are some levels of SQL 2008 32-bit listed as supported. You need a DSN of 32 bit on 64-bit VUM server, regardless of the version of db that you use. 'The requirement of a 32-bit DSN apply to all databases supported.' - of

Break the BI publisher on Windows 2008 64-bit installation
Hello, everyone
I need sense of simple installation on BI Publisher version 11.1.1.3 on Windows 2008 64 bit server to Oracle database 11g and Apex 4.0. The more I read the installation, I'm confused. Document ID: E10539-01 is very confusing to me. I'm sorry. The 32-bit with BI Publisher version 10.1.3.4.1 server is much easier to implement.
Thanks in advance.
TigerwapaBI Publisher implementation is another story, but I think that the instructions for setting the version 4.0 of the APEX is identical to the version 3.x... You point apex on the port that you have installed BI Publisher on and the servlet that transmits information between APEX & BI Publisher...
Thank you

Windows 2003/2008 server Enterprise Edition 32-bit RAM OS compatibility issue.
We just bought 2 servers architecture 64-bit with 16 GB RAM on each server blades. seller want to install windows server 2003/2008 Enterprise Edition 32 bit OS on these because of the compatibility of the applications server computers. I heard that windows 2003 32-bit server supported only 4 GB of RAM. So, in this scenario, another 12 GB of RAM will be unusable or full 16 GB of RAM will rely on this machine so install us windows 2003/2008 server enterprise R2 32 OSi. Also say us no other solution.

Can I use VMWare server 2 operational execution Server 2003 / 2008 VM?
Can I use VMWare server 2 to run an operational Server 2003 / 2008 and an another SBS 2003 / 2008 VM? This way I want to run a SBS 2008 Server with a separate server for SQL 2005 and CRM 4.0.
Or should I buy then sphere or VMWare Workstation? I would like to work on a computer with XP pro SP2 64-bit, but if this is not possible I could install a 64 bit OS on this server.
Should I'm way real physical internet access of a virtual machine in VMWare server 2?
WinServ 2003 and 2008 running great on VMware Server 2, which is free. They'll run even faster on ESXi, which is also free, but has no local console (it takes a second machine see the console & vms).
I have an opterons 2xquad @ 2.7 Ghz, 16 GB of RAM and 4 TB of disk space and I can run 4-5 virtual machines without flinch... but my vmware-server works on Ubuntu. I believe that Linux running on the underlying area will give a MUCH better than Windows.

Tools on Windows Server 2008 64-bit VM
I try to install ot the VM Ware tools on an instance of Windows Server 2008 64-bit running on my iMac. It gives me the message while ensuring that the guest system is that it is loaded. Then it seems ot start installation, but it really is not dialogue or whatever it is telling me that is happening. Then he said only: cancel install, but never changes.
No problem on the instance of windows Server 2003 32-bit.
Selecing install tools in the menu just mounts the. ISO image to virtual CD drive of the virtual machine. Maybe the autorun is disabled on your virtual machine. Try to run Setup manually from Windows Explorer.

600 g MT: network driver for HP600B MT for Windows Server 2008 64 bit
I installed Windows Server 2008 on computer HP 600 g MT (product number - B5G17EA). But I'm not able to get the network (Ethernet) and graphics drivers for this OS. I even tried to download and install the drivers for Windows 7 and 8. But that did not help.
The HP site doesn't have any drivers for this desktop computer operating system:
http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=5270873&lang=en&cc=us
Driver search for "Atheros AR8152 / 8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20) also went in vain I couldn't locate for OS Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)."
Please help!
Hi Provost,
Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the Ethernet drivers from the following link:
And it worked perfectly for me. I had another system (HP 600 g MT). I went to the Device Manager and checked the name of the Ethernet adapter. It is Atheros AR8152 / 8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20). Then I googled and found the link above was the driver.
The graphics driver from the link you provided, I always download it now. Would return as soon as possible about that.
Best regards
