Attach picture files to email

How can I upload more than one photo to an e-mail message without having to load pictures 1 at a time?  I don't get the drop-down menu when I click on join used to give me the option to attach photo or file.  New to Windows 7, used to have Windows XP.

Which e-mail application do you currently use and what you used on XP?

If Windows Live Mail, when you click on "Join", you should get and the Explorer window to search for the photos you want to join. You can hold the CTRL key to select multiple photos. If you do not Live Mail open, you can still select multiple photos in a folder, right click and choose send to, the message recipient. Then you will be asked about the change in the size and opens a new message with the attached pictures.

  • BlackBerry Z10 attaching pictures (screenshots) to emails

    Hello

    I tried to attach photos or screenshots that I composed an email. However when I go in tie--> images, it passes under the camera and any pictures that I took with my phone (especially the screenshot pictures of my office phone).

    I then tried file only into my SD card which does not have photos I took of the Office phone either.

    Can someone tell me how I can set it up so that I can find the pictures I take with my phone?

    only way I got it working is to start on the pictures to share them by e-mail, but not vice versa.

    Actually I figured out how to change so the photos are always stored on the sd card now so you don't always have to change manually as the above post.

    Open your camera-> menu application drop down from the top to reveal the setting-> turn on save images on memory card

    If you don't do this you must change the location of your photos of decivice on your sd card every time so you can attach them to emails, and others.

    I would like if possible blackberry could add the device itself as a place to search for images when set on emails.

  • Attach multiple files to email through donkey

    Hello. I'm trying to improve My donkey and add several attachments to the e-mail message.

    This is my last try: gist: 1fcc08159e4cb724bbf2

    Problem in the present code:

    if(filesPaths!=""){
       String[] filesPathsArray = filesPaths.split(",");
       ArrayList<Uri> uris = new ArrayList<Uri>();
       for (String filePath:filesPathsArray) {
          Uri uri = Uri.parse("file://" + filePath);
          uris.add(uri);
       }
       emailIntent.putParcelableArrayListExtra(Intent.EXTRA_STREAM, uris);
    }

    I get the message 'could not attach files.

    But I know that my table is correct. When I try to add a single file, it works fine:

    emailIntent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_STREAM, Uri.parse("file://"+ filesPathsArray [0]));

    What I am doing wrong? How to fix join them several files?

    Ok. I realized how to solve the problem.

    Necessary to use Intent.ACTION_SEND_MULTIPLE instead of Intent.ACTION_SEND.

  • How can I attach a picture file to an e-mail. Whenever I click, the action opens just the file instead of attaching it to the email.

    I try to attach a file of pictures to send to friends by e-mail.  Can someone help me please?

    First of all, make sure that the entire file does not exceed the limit set by your mail server. Check first with them over the limit.

    Suugestion only:
    Could a right click on the file > Send to > compressed (zipped) folder.
    Now, attach the file zipped e-mail.
    P.S. I think that you should always check with the size of the zipped folder.

  • Try to attach photos to an email on Hotmail, but when I open the file, they were put in alphabetical order, and not chronological order I want. Can I change this?

    Hello.   I'm trying to attach photos to an email on Hotmail.  When I open the folder where I want to download the pictures, they are all placed alphabetically.  I want to arrange them in the order, they were taken, which I can do by going in "My pictures", but when I pull the file upwards again in Hotmail, they are given in alphabetical order.  Any ideas?

    Hello Oilfan,

    Thank you for your message.  Since there are two ways to attach photos in Hotmail, I assume you are using the 'Attach' > 'File' version instead of "attach" > version "Photo".  To sort the folder to your liking, you can click right in the pane where you see your files > Highlight ' rearrange icons by "> select" Photos taken we.
    Please let us know if this or help to solve your problem.

  • Why I can't attach a file when sending an email [in firefox]

    When I send an email in fire fox I can't attach a file. When I click on the button, nothing happens. I am able to attach files when I use one browser other than fire fox.

    Can you tell me why this happens only in fire fox.

    Concerning
    Ron Colburn

    I heard you the first time.

    Firefox send an e-mail, it's strictly a web browser.

    If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". We might have an answer for you, if we knew which web mail services provider this problem is with. Or, you can seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • When I attach a picture to an email, how to make it smaller?

    Rather than send the image in General, I would like to make it smaller, so you can see the whole image on the screen, instead of having to scroll up and down.

    You use an image editor and image size before attaching the file. Use the right tool for the job. Thunderbird is an email client and not an image editor.

    There are several editors free image out there. IrfanView is a good.

    2 RE: problems to upload my pictures on my email to send, I have to do 1 at a time
    Provided you use Windows Mail with a POP3/SMTP email account :
    Open Winows Mail > create a message > Attach > place you in the folder holding your photos...
    Click on an image. Do you see a check mark in the upper left corner inside a small square box ?
    If Yes, go to your next photo and move your cursor over them. You see this little square at the top box on the left?
    If Yes, check directly inside the box.
    Repeat same method to the next image until you are finished. Click Open.
    Now all the photos you want are attached,

  • Cannot attach files to email AOL.

    Original title: cannot add files to emails (AOL)

    Something in my multitude of security settings allow me to join my AOL email (.jpg) files from my C: drive.  I can attach files even my emails to Charter Internet using IE9.  I am the owner, the single user and the system administrator.  Where can I find the "switches" to allow AOL e-mail attachments?  I have a homegroup, a working group and a Linksys ethernet network on my laptop Dell Inspiron at home which is runuing Win7 Pro with SP1.

    Also when I try to change the mode to "share with" for a folder of "null" to something else, it remains locked.   As an administrator, how do I control the action with the function?

  • problem of attach files to emails

    Just bought a new pc and I use windows 8 and have a yahoo email address, but I can't attach any file to my e-mail. When I add the attachment, it comes, goes round but don't cling. Any ideas?

    Hi Dave,.

    Thanks for the reply.

    As you have problems with downloading files to Yahoo mail, there could be two possibilities for the question. Either there is something wrong with the network connection or something wrong with the Yahoo Server. If you and your wife use the same network connection, then there is nothing wrong with the network connection. You can wait for a while and check.

    However, you can try to delete the cache and temporary files by following these steps and check.

    a. start Internet Explorer 10 Version of office.

    b. on the Tools menu, click Internet Options. If you don't see the Tools menu, press Alt to display the menu.

    c. click on the general tab.

    d. under browsing history, click delete.

    e. in the dialog delete browsing history , click to select the check boxes and then click delete:

    Temporary Internet files

    Cookies

    History

    f. click closeand then click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

    It is not broken, just confused. The recipient must save the file and open it in Adobe Reader. Your e-mail application is not using Adobe Reader.
