Attached a PDF file have different file name

So I enclose you pdf files for descriptions of product and occasionally when I click on the link of the PDF, the pdf file name will be different from what I've downloaded. The file is correct, but the automated name will have a number after it. It seems that muse is the earlier pdf with the same name in the file somewhere and adding the number. Is their anyway for me to delete the pdf file previously listed in the hyperlink section so that I don't get the number following the name of the file.

Hello

You can delete the files in the folder of the active, active Panel also click on options, you can delete unused files for upload which would be to remove the used or unrelated files anywhere in the pages of the site.

Thank you

Sanjit

    When you try to attach a PDF file as an object the WORD 2013 64 bit I'm estates following error: "the program used to create this object is AcroExch. This program is either not installed on your computer, or it does not. To change this, install AcroExch or ensure that all the dialog boxes in AcroExch are closed. "even disabled protection at startup mode. Who made no difference

    Hi sdesk.

    This problem occurs with the 64-bit application as Acrobat is a 32-bit application making it incompatible to insert objects into a MS Word 64-bit application.

    As a workaround solution insert the object as a 'Create New' rather than create a file.

    Let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

    It is not broken, just confused. The recipient must save the file and open it in Adobe Reader. Your e-mail application is not using Adobe Reader.

  • Try to delete a pdf file name

  • Attach a PDF file when sending e-mail

    Hello

    Can you help me to send a pdf file as an attachment when sending mail.

    Also, please tell me the required configuration changes that need to be done.

    It is important that where is your file that you are trying to reach and how you create the file object out of it to go to the MimeMessageUtils.setContent (). Thus there is no specific location to place the file you just create its object file correctly. For example if your PDF is created by another application and it is present in the so-called C:\app\output\pdf or/usr/local/app/output/pdf so that you can do is to define a Java System property (let's name the property system as file.attach.dir) through your scripts to start the server with comme-Dfile.attach.dir=C:\\app\\output\\pdf ou-Dfile.attach.dir=/usr/local/app/output/pdf

    And then, in your code you can do something like:

    Attachment of files = new queue (File.separatorChar + System.getProperty ("file.attach.dir") + "attachment.pdf");
    MimeMessageUtils.setContent (message, content, seizure, false);

    You can also place files for attachment to a specific folder of ATG and access it using atg.nucleus.DynamoEnv. Say that the file is in a directory called 'attachments' in the ATG data directory which by default is \home in the case of an attained EAR you can do

    Attachment of files is new leader (atg.nucleus.DynamoEnv.getDataDir () .getPath () File.separatorChar + "attachments" + File.separatorChar + "attachment.pdf");.
    MimeMessageUtils.setContent (message, content, seizure, false);

    If you make and deploy EAR on the application server as stand-alone then you might already have the ATG data directory affect some location through the property system - Datg.dynamo.data - dir in your server startup scripts. So, if this is the case, you can use this same property as described earlier in the first approach.

    You can always check the path of the file and know if he is getting properly solved using Java API file as file.getPath () and file.exists () where the file is the file object that you created. Make sure file.exists () return you true and that you will not encounter a FileNotFound Exception.

    • Click the icon on the desktop printer,

  • Acrobat XI attached a PDF file and bookmarks

    Hello

    We have a problem with attachments and bookmarks.

    Description, ACROBAT XI:

    1. We have da-PDF document.
    2. We are implementing several PDF documents as attachments
    3. We are able to establish links in the main document to one of the attachments. The link opens a new window containing the target attachment.
    4. We are NOT able to put a bookmark in the main document, referring to one attachment. The bookmark must open a new window containing the document referred/accessory.

    Is there any solution to our problem mentioned in n4?

    Go to the properties of your bookmark and under Actions, add a new command "Go to a page view" and click Add.

    A floating window appears with a defined link (and a Cancel) button.

    Now, with this window remains open, switch to the attachments Panel and open the attached PDF file. Navigate to the point where you want to link to and then click on the button set link in the floating window.

    If you want the link always open in a new window then after that return to the Actions tab and change the action that you just added.

    Under ' open in ' select 'new window' and you've made.

  • Attach the pdf file to the e-mail and use text body field

    I'm looking to create a form with a button 'submit' at the bottom.  When you click the button submit, I would e-mail window to open with a predefined recipient, and the pdf file attached.  I found the code to achieve this using this.mailDoc)

    However:

    I hope also to get the text field 'Name' of my screen and use it in the body of the e-mail message.

    I found the following code in another post, which seems to work for this:

    var cClientName = this.getField("ClientName").value;

    cAddress var = this.getField("Address").value;

    cbody var = ' Customer Information: \n\n ";

    cbody += "name:"+ cClientName + "\n"; '.

    cbody += "address:"+ cAddress + '\n'; '.

    var myURL = "mailto: . " [email protected] ? subject = Customer Info & body =";

    myURL += cbody;

    app.launchURL (myURL, true);

    That will open a window of e-mail with a body that contains the data of AcroForm fields named "ClientName" and "Address".

    The problem is that this code will not work the pdf.

    How can I get the best of both worlds?

    Thank you!

    You don't need launchURL to achieve this goal. mailDoc is capable of setting of the

    subject line, body of the email, the lists of beneficiaries, etc.

  • Script to remove the first few characters of a PDF file name?

    I know it should be easy, but I'm not a coder and don't have many opportunities to write scripts.  I hope it's like a second request two anyone out there.  All I want to do is point a script in a PDF file that will review the file name, cut the first two characters of the file name and save the original file again.  I need to do this about 400 PDF documents on a recurring basis, hence the need for a script.  Thus, for example, if I have a C:/temp/myFile.pdf file, I would the script to rename the file to just "file.pdf".

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    JBF

    Use this code in your action (note that this will not work if your file name)

    contains the comma):

    var filePath = this.path.replace(this.documentFileName,"");

    var NouveauNomFichier = this.documentFileName.substring (2);

    this.saveAs (filePath + newFileName);
