  This problem occurs with the 64-bit application as Acrobat is a 32-bit application making it incompatible to insert objects into a MS Word 64-bit application.

  As a workaround solution insert the object as a 'Create New' rather than create a file.

  It is not broken, just confused. The recipient must save the file and open it in Adobe Reader. Your e-mail application is not using Adobe Reader.

  It is important that where is your file that you are trying to reach and how you create the file object out of it to go to the MimeMessageUtils.setContent (). Thus there is no specific location to place the file you just create its object file correctly. For example if your PDF is created by another application and it is present in the so-called C:\app\output\pdf or/usr/local/app/output/pdf so that you can do is to define a Java System property (let's name the property system as file.attach.dir) through your scripts to start the server with comme-Dfile.attach.dir=C:\\app\\output\\pdf ou-Dfile.attach.dir=/usr/local/app/output/pdf

  And then, in your code you can do something like:

  Attachment of files = new queue (File.separatorChar + System.getProperty ("file.attach.dir") + "attachment.pdf");
  MimeMessageUtils.setContent (message, content, seizure, false);

  You can change, but it will keep up to your change as a prefix or you will have to appoint one by one afterwards. To change the prefix, please try your computer

  • Click the icon on the desktop printer,
  • Click on scan a Document or Photo.
  • Click on advanced (near bottom right).
  • Click the Destination tab,
  • Change file name,
  • Click Ok

  (The same for each type).

  We have a problem with attachments and bookmarks.

  Description, ACROBAT XI:

  1. We have da-PDF document.
  2. We are implementing several PDF documents as attachments
  3. We are able to establish links in the main document to one of the attachments. The link opens a new window containing the target attachment.
  4. We are NOT able to put a bookmark in the main document, referring to one attachment. The bookmark must open a new window containing the document referred/accessory.

  Is there any solution to our problem mentioned in n4?

  Go to the properties of your bookmark and under Actions, add a new command "Go to a page view" and click Add.

  A floating window appears with a defined link (and a Cancel) button.

  Now, with this window remains open, switch to the attachments Panel and open the attached PDF file. Navigate to the point where you want to link to and then click on the button set link in the floating window.

  If you want the link always open in a new window then after that return to the Actions tab and change the action that you just added.

  Under ' open in ' select 'new window' and you've made.

  subject line, body of the email, the lists of beneficiaries, etc.

• Script to remove the first few characters of a PDF file name?

  I know it should be easy, but I'm not a coder and don't have many opportunities to write scripts.  I hope it's like a second request two anyone out there.  All I want to do is point a script in a PDF file that will review the file name, cut the first two characters of the file name and save the original file again.  I need to do this about 400 PDF documents on a recurring basis, hence the need for a script.  Thus, for example, if I have a C:/temp/myFile.pdf file, I would the script to rename the file to just "file.pdf".

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
