attachments to e-mail include personal settings help!

I downloaded office 10 free trial, RESUME rewrite, sent, and recipient is able to see the resume, but also see when I started the trial, all the information about creation of the CV, as having the ability to change my RESUME. How can I fix it? I want only the recipient to display the summary only.

If you send the document to someone who has the same program, they can make changes. What you need to do, is save the resume in PDF and who join an email cover letter.

Laptop computer startup after detached work and returned to the House, I got the message "personal settings don't is not loading" and he went to a generic profile by default similar to what you see when you turn on a new computer for the first time.  I use Windows XP Professional on a Dell Latitude d

All programs are intact, but all files are absent, including Quickbooks data.  We use Carbonite backup so food won't be a problem; How to bring back the personal settings?

    Thanks for your help!

It is an easy one.  You probably have a corrupt user profile.  One of the following solutions, you should get back working again...

"Windows XP problems if your profile is corrupted"

"How to recover damaged Windows XP user profile"

""Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted"error message when you try to log on Windows XP.

Note also that corrupt user profiles are usually accompanied or caused by the corruption of system files.  After recovery, it would be prudent to run a complete control of the disk (chkdsk) with the /F or /R option to repair corrupt sectors.

"How to perform the disk error checking in Windows XP"

Note that this can take hours and cannot be interrupted, then perform it when you won't need your machine for awhile.

    Hello

These methods should help for Windows 7 or Vista.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup. THE ADMIN
Safe Mode account has no default password (so unless someone changed
    the password should be available).

Some programs such as the Google Updater (if you've added the Google toolbar,
Chrome or Google Earth) has been known to cause this problem.

  • personal settings not retained after restarting Windows XP

After that my professional trustworthy repaired my system and reinstalled Windows XP Pro (SP3), it was OK until I started to reload security applications (such as the ZoneAlarm firewall, blockers of spies, etc.)
Now, whenever the system reboots, all personal settings are lost (even though Windows says ' save settings' then stop).  Keyboard settings, folder view settings, icon placement, etc. - all is lost.
I searched the Knowledge Base and Forums, with no obviously related results.

Try disabling TeaTimer first. It will certainly impact the registry change. If this does not work, uninstall.

  • Cannot open attachments in Windows Mail

Can not open attachments [such as wmv.] in Windows Mail
Unless I first save the attachment and then open it from the location of the saved file. After that attachments can be opened in WM until the next time I start the PC. Then I do the routine save - open again.

Try this, instead of open Windows Mail on the part of the shortcuts to quick launch or desktop, or in the Start Menu, start it from "start |" All programs | Windows Mail' and see if your attachments open.  There is a recurring problem between Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Mail that causes this and many people have been able to resolve the question drinking from Windows Mail in this way.  These discussions have a lot more information:

Vista, IE8, Windows Mail, can not open attachments
    Microsoft Word attachments to e-mail

  • I can't open or save attachments in e-mail.

I can't open or save attachments in e-mail.  I have windows Vista 32 bit with Trend Micro Security and IE9.  It started last week.  I made no changes to the system.  I searched all the newspapers of the community on this subject without success (it would be useful if it were in chronological order, so I could see more recent issues and resolutions.  How can I recover from this serious problem that won't let me record/opening attached.  I'm getting desperate.

    Hello

You have access to the email that you are unable to download attachments from Internet Explorer or via an e-mail client? If it is a mail client, please let us know what email client you use.

Method 1: make sure that you do have the option not to save the pages encrypted on the disc is activated. You can enable/disable this option as follows:

    • Open Internet Explorer
    • Click on Tools
    • Click on Internet Options
    • Click the Advanced tab
    • Enable or disable the option not to save the pages encrypted on the disc
    • Click OK
    • Close Internet Explorer
    • Open Internet Explorer

Method 2: Try to reset the settings of Internet Explorer 9.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-Vista/reset-Internet-Explorer-settings-in-Internet-Explorer-9

Note: The feature reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.

Please post back if you have any questions about Windows. I will be happy to provide you with the additional options that you can use to get the problem resolved.

  • How can I return 'Default' Firefox (topic: config) without losing all my modules and Persona settings?

I changed a couple of parameter in previous versions, to speed things up. These parameters have been "inherited" from version 6.x which I think has more need.
I want to return my Firefox settings by default, (processing pipeline, server calls etc) but don't want to lose my Add-ons, Extensions or Persona settings.

    PulpKult...

Creating a profile will return all of your default settings of Extension/add-ons, you will need to re - install the Extensions/additional custom modules in the new profile

Most of the settings that you have probably set different values are in about: config, then filter = network.http (I watch 24 elements in Firefox 6, all with the 'status' = default)

    • Those that are displayed in the lower panel in fat and as a user set are items that have been modified by you and/or an extension/add-on.
    • You can right-click on these elements, in your case those typically shown as "whole" types and choose "Reset".
    • Those who re - appear after restart of Firefox are possibly be changed/added by an Extension; There were / are many extensions to change these settings
    • After "Reset", not with an empty value (there should be none in network.http unless you added), will be deleted when you restart Firefox. those are elements that are not the default set of preferences hidden in your version.
    • Make a list of what you change hidden preferences (topic: config) so that you can reverse these changes later if needed.
    • List of preferences network.http: _ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox: _FAQs_:_About:config_Entries #Network.
      • The list is not entirely current or complete, but is the best we have at this moment
      • Do not add new products to your preferences, unless you know what you're doing
      • Do not delete all the elements of your preferences, unless you know what you're doing
    • See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
