Audio controls and background playback bar

I recorded recently background to a CP 5.5 project. It works fine, as long as I do not use the previous or Next control in the playback bar. If I do, the background sound continues as if there were no jump forwards or backwards in my project. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello and welcome to our community

Background sound is something that just plays in the background. It's a horrible place to consider even remotely to any sort of narrative and you see first hand, the reason why you don't want to insert the narration here.

The result is that the developers intend for narration Captivate be placed as audio slide. I've also seen people insert narration adding the audio narration to individual objects, such as text captions.

See you soon... Rick

This doesn't bother me. My screen always seem to be on the Safe Mode (large letters, bad resolution, etc.), I was able to fix this by downloading some updates to the graphics drivers. Now: The big problem is that I have no sound. He said: No Audio device. Everything is gray out. I have installed all updates this website told me. Pack 3 Windows, updates of security 77, Fixit sofware to solve problems, check my audio card, etc. etc. It becomes infinite and I had installed updates and crazy things. All I want is my audio to work so my speakers have her again. I don't know what else to do after having tried all of these steps windows troubleshooting. All are the same, but not solve my problem. Hello

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

    ·         Have you tried to install the sound card drivers on the manufacturer's Web site?

If Windows update is not able to find the drivers for the device so that Windows to recognize your sound card or processor, you must find and install a compatible driver on the manufacturer's Web site.

  • How to hide a control and change a background image at the same TIME

    Hello

I made a slideshow on LabView VI, who also monitors data in real time to a data logger.

The program works like this: -.

Start/Page 1:-bottom pane displays a nice screenshot. A set of indicators displays the data in real time. Switches to Page 2 after 20 seconds.

Page 2:-background to an another screenshot. Hide indicators in real time and a set of three graphs appear, displaying historical data. Switches after 20 years.

Page 3 etc:-hide charts and indicators, a 'slide show' appears by changing the history pane. Back to page 1 after the sequence.

Everything works fine, except for one thing: I can't hide indicators and background to change at once, resulting in a clumsy "discrepancy" between the two.

I did one VI example to illustrate this. Simply select two separate images to the façade, run the VI and toggle the Boolean control to see what I mean.

Any idea how to get indicators and background of change at the same time?

    Thanks in advance,

  • No sound driver and no multimedia audio control?

He asks me if I want to install a new hardware (multimedia audio controller, but I do not have a cd). I did the whole looking for your device under "video controller and games sounds" but all what I have there is: ".

    -Audio Codec.

    -Legacy Audio drivers

    -Hardware video Captuers

    -Media control devices

    -Video Codec

I also tried "roll back driver" on the yellow question mark (multimedia audio controller) and it is said that "no driver files have been backed up for your device. Ive tried to update the device by choosing a type of material. but AC 97 controller 'may not be compatible"and mess up my computer.

It is likely that the sound driver was eliminated during the uninstallation of some programs. In this case, try to go to your computer manufacturer's website to download and install the audio driver. They should have ALL the drivers for your computer model. :-)

Okay, I went back and did another system restore to an earlier date, and everything was going well for a few boots.  Then she went and made a few updates, and the problem came back.

The problem seems to grow after an attempt to install the following updates through Windows Update (and fails after every restart):

1 - other hardware - Microsoft HID Non-User Input data filter (KB 911895)
    2. definition update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (definition 1.69.301.0)

  • the volume control on background music

I finished my first iMovie composed of video clips.  I have two questions:

How to lower the volume of the background music for a few seconds only

How to disappear the music of a song before the end of the song.

    Thank you

    Hi, grosen25,

There are two ways to adjust the volume in the latest version of iMovie (10.1.2).

One way is to select the audio clip, and then click on the speaker icon in the toolbar at the top of your screen.   This will reveal a scroll bar

allows you to adjust the volume from 0 to 400%.

Another way is to first click on the settings button in the right middle of your screen and select 'Show waveforms' in the dialog box that results.  Then select the audio clip.  You will see a horizontal volume control line that runs through the clip.  Place your cursor on the line and move it up or down to increase or decrease the volume.

  • Audio controls from the control center was lost in iOS10?

Updated reluctantly iOS 10 and so far, the biggest annoyance is that my playback controls for some audio I play (audiobook of iBooks, podcasts with downcast, stream radio KPCC app) disappeared from the center of control... any way to recover?

Quick scan power button or mute with the least amount of taps & shots is important when you want to respond to someone knocking on a door, or on the land line call, etc., and have hit to swipe several apps to reach the audio application when you were in another is an unnecessary extra step.

Is there a way to get this back that I missed?

In iOS 10, audio controls have been moved to a second page in the control center and are accessible by sliding left within the control center.

  • KB2887069 Windows update fails to install, even with the audio drivers and uninstalled AV

KB2887069 Windows update fails to install, even with the audio drivers and uninstalled AV.

Background: I am setting up a pavilion of 500-164 equipped with OEM specs, specifically:

    -AMD/Radeon APU

    -Windows 8 6.2.9200

-See sysinfo below for more details

The PC brought to the specifications of the plant, with all Windows updates applied with the exception of KB2887069, which breaks down at the update.  With the exception of troubleshooting the failure of the update, none of the changes have been made.  The Windows KB2887069 update fails to install as well through the automated process when tried manually via a direct download.

Additional troubleshooting measures to date include:

-Uninstall the software OEM AV (Norton), then by restarting.

-Temporarily disable all the features of Windows Defender.

-Temporarily uninstall the audio driver (IDT High Definition Audio CODEC) OEM.

-Realization of an analysis of the SFC system (with no error found).

I find it peculiar that you just bought a HP computer brand new, still-in-the-box, which came with Windows 8, not 8.1, preinstalled Windows. That said, cross your fingers, roll up your sleeves and try the fix following multiple step, I cooked up just for your computer...

    ACTIONS

[You may want to print these instructions for reference offline.  IMPORTANT => NO SKIP & perform all steps in one uninterrupted session!  [If a step said to restart, restart! ]

1 right-click on the link, select SAVE TARGET as.... & download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. right click on the file that you saved in step #1 above and select run as administrator to run the Norton utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    4. right-click on the following link and save the download to your desktop: ie8 - rereg.all.zip [1]

4B. right click on the file that you saved in # 4 has & select EXTRACT ALL. This will create a new folder in Office also appointed ie8 - rereg.all. The folder contains both scripts below (plus a third that will NOT be).

    Note-online scripts are good for IE9, IE10 & IE11, too,

    5. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the task bar), open the folder created in step # 4 b above & double-click on the file named ie8 - rereg.32on64.cmd to run the script.

5 b. Repeat this for the file named ie8 - rereg.64on64.cmd then restart.

    6. reset Internet Explorer by the MANUAL of instructions on this page-online http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

Note => for best results, check the option Remove personal settings .

7 run the Windows Update Troubleshooter from start to finish by the first paragraph on this page-online http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/troubleshoot-problems-installing-updates [2]

    8. restart once more then test by launching a manual check of updates & see if KB2887069 any/all others updated and allows to install now. Follow all the instructions.

    9. assuming all went well, see if Windows 8.1 is available through the store Windows and, if so, if it will be properly installed. Still, follow all the instructions.

  • branching projects the playback bar options

Make us some connections classes and wonder about how other users discussed navigation with branching. Captivate does not (as far as I can tell) users to customize it that slide the 'next' buttons 'back' on the playback bar will sail and the progress bar shows where the Viewer is going, not on each slide. With the projects ramifications, the lack of flexibility both of these features causes a huge problem: how to give viewers control over what they see and keep the order of the content of the way we've designed?

Right now the only solution we have developed with is to hide the progress bar and the next/back buttons on the bar games and include 'back' and 'continue' buttons on some slides. This isn't an ideal solution, because the CC should be visible, and have buttons on the bottom of the screen makes it hidden by the CC, then put them pretty far up the, whose ruins just the Visual on a large number of slides.

Am I missing a feature in captivate? If someone has found a way to work around this problem, I'd love to hear it!

You put the CSS in the file assets/css/CPLibraryAll.css.

The css is not there, add, is that the CSS is the example I posted. You do not need to have color in the css, I added it for a specific project.

To activate the CC on and outside, you need create a tip action associated with a button to toggle the use of the CC. the "Toggle" action and choose "cpCmndCC" as the variable.

  • When you disable the playback bar, it leaves a gray band of lost space
