  • ADE installs account already authorized to a stranger

I just installed Adobe Digital Editions for the first time. I want to use to access ebrary downloads, etc.

When I install the software it does not ask me to give him all information authorizatoin.  Instead, he moved already authorized to an unknown account.  I'm the only one who has never used this computer.  I have Adobe Creative Cloud on this computer, but that you have already seen him an option ADE which are linked.

I tried to remove the authorization information but it takes the login and the password to do this, and of course, if I have no idea where he got permission in the first place information, I have no way of knowing the connection attached to it information.  I want to just pull that info and reauthorize so I can read my books in ebrary.  It is very frustrating that you need login information to delete an account that you do not want.

I uninstalled the software and reinstalled twice, with no improvement.  I have simply no idea where he got the account information of.  The account listed is a long string on numbers followed "|" 3 M.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • How to clear permission from the firm OverDrive account?

Hello. I try to erase an authorization on ADE. On behalf of OverDrive I used to allow ADE has been closed, and I have created a new. But it wont let me delete the old authorization. It keeps saying "your user credentials do not match." I know that I am using the right login and password. It does not work because the account is now closed?

You must delete some registry keys to delete activation for ADE. You must have administration.

On Windows it can be found here:
Open the Windows registry using the command prompt and type "regedit" or by opening the start menu and by searching for "regedit."

    Look for the following folder:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept\Activation

The "Activation" folder can be removed completely.

ADE to restart and it should be disabled at this stage.

  • On Digital Editions 1.7.2.1131 Error2038 / / on digital editions 4.0.3.117585 "error!" Check the Activation"/ / when trying to download a DRM protected book. Digital Editions IS allowed!

    Hello

My Digital Editions works great for years (even through the migration from one PC to the other), then all of a sudden yesterday I could not download any new DRM protected EPUB or PDF files.

I was running from Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2.1131

Whenever I would get errors like:

    Europe_at_War_1939_1945:

IO error on the network request.

Please check your network connection and try again.

    Network path:

    Details of the event:

    Error #2038

    -end-

So I've upgraded to Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.3.117585

Always impossible to download DRM protected books, but now I have a simple:

    "Error!" Check the Activation.

I've activated all the time on both versions.

    Please... What is the problem?

While my wife and I have our own autonomous computers dedicated, but when we travel, we use a portable Setup with individual profiles. I have, unfortunately, seems improved FROM Version 2 to Version 4 on said computer. On v-2 each user has his own profile OF within their windows profile. I used the same login and PW which were used on the original installation, as well as the stand-alone version, but TO dislike it. When I try to move in an e-book that I get 'check the activation'. When I try to disable the profile in order to reactivate I get the message "Cannot delete permission". I also checked the username Adobe and PW - they work on the stand-alone people computer when you import ebooks in this unit. I profile 2 on the laptop. Suggestions?
