  I developed a page of connection with a field of user name and password, I made the username field to be 'Text with AutoComplete' and gave the sql code to fetch the result of falling down, while when I apply a style to overried the position of the region using the left and right drop-down list style attribute appers in the screen is not what I need. • ? How do I auto add text fields because they are filled up to?

  Okay, don't know how I formulated the question of discussion. I created a pdf document where the user enters some information in the different text fields. Information of the moments more or less is needed. When there is not a lot of information, a line is fine but other times 2 or more lines may be needed. Is it possible to have the form dynamically create another line under the first, once the text entered does not match and then push the extra text and the cursor to a new line?

  Do not use the legend on the object, but an object of text separated you can put where you want... Or in the font palette align legend at top... Make sure that you select legend just highlighted.

  This is called predictive text. No, it is not on the curve.

  You can have automatic insertions, for your phrases commonly used or such, where if you want to type "I'll call you soon", you type something like "zx", and the sentence is inserted.

  I am working on a form in which I want to take information typed in a particular area and have it copy and appear in another area.  I've implemented similar type things where I have a menu drop down and someone chooses a name and some text appears, but I don't know how to make it happen when I don't know what the potential text will be.  Can you help me please?  Thank you!

  The easiest way would be to appoint the same objects in the hierarchy, then set their 'global' link in the object > range of liaison.

  This means that whatever the rawValue of a field, it is automatically replicated in the other script.

• Create a form with AutoFill and locked text fields.

  I have created a 24 page pdf form.  I have a shape on the first page, which contains all the information scattered on next pages 24.  Most of the stuff is redundant.  I would use the pages for auto-complete.  I know that you can name the text field the same, but the problem I have is.  I would like to auto-fill text fields must be blocked at this time there.  So that the tab through forms, these fields cannot be changed accidentally.  Also has been done.  When using excel, you can have the cell/text field search another cell and get this info.  But Adobe doesn't like this.  At least is not that I can find.  How can I automatically fill these fields then the future fields through the locked document?

  You can not give them the same name. You can do something like this, however: that you have a field named Text1 the editable value and a field called Text1Copy where you want to have the same value, but it is locked.

  Text1Copy the value read-only under its properties - general tab, then switch to the tab calculate and enter this code:

  Event.Value = this.getField("Text1").valueAsString;

  After that, whenever the Text1 value will be changed, it will be reflected in Text1Copy.

  One way would be to place a JavaScript in the output of TextFieldA event:

  However this fires when the user leaves TextFieldA. You may need extra script if it is likely that the user is not yet in this text field.

  Hi, palm has a smart feature useful text, so when you enter text in particular field, and this field was seized with another similar text, then the palm will try to auto complete the rest part with highlighted. Sadlly, seems it cannot let me select another candidate completion if the current is not what I need, so my question is, palm treo 650 does bike in the candidate of completion? I know that in any other charactors more to limit further the realization is a way, but if I want to enter a contact containing non-lettre name say commas, then type the after, palm has managed to complete it.

  AutoComplete is a tool for spelling if there are commas so he doesn't know what you are trying to spell. With regard to cycling though the device does not allow that. But me and another tech found a software that might be able to help do.

  Try to fill in address, city, province, zip from text fields based on the selected option in a select form field. The following code works fine in Internet Explorer, but in Chrome or Firefox, after selection, text, the fields are filled with the word "undefined."

  In your last code done selectAddress refers to "index" but I'm not declared or assigned. I think that you are missing 'var index = list.selectedIndex;' statement.

  I use a "Auto complete field" in a page for research (Apex version 4.0). But I need to get the values of the 3 tables and when you click on the redirection of the value to one of the 3 pages based on the value.
  
  For example, I have 3 tables. 1 customer 2 Sites 3.Employees. When I enter "c" in the search field, I need to get values of 3 tables in this area "AutoComplete". That is to say, if I have a customer with the name "cusotmer1", "customer2" and the location with the names of "cisc1", "cisc2" and employees with the name "cid1", "cid2"; When I enter "c" in the FQDN of the auto all 6 values must be given in the "AutoComplete" box and clicking on "customer1" / "customer2" need to redirect to the 'customer' page When you click on 'cisc1' / 'cisc2' redirect to 'site' when clicking on "cid1" / "cid2" redirect to the page of the employees.   Hello I hope I can get assistance on this matter and thank you in advance for any information.

  I have an APEX 5 screen, that has 4 fields of entry of text and under this one IR that has these 4 parameters in its SQL where clauses.

  Now if I create a button that submits page or redirects to this page my report can be updated with the values of user entered without problem, basic stuff.  If I create the settings section as a dialog box model once again that I can get the update report as this dialogue submits the page as well as the report can refresh according to closed dialog option.

  What I struggle to reach is to allow the user to enter values in the text fields click on a button called 'submit' and there all stages of implementing dynamic action without page reloading.  I want user to P1_A, P1_B, P1_C, P1_D press on "submit" input, dynamic action that links the values entered into the fields, then fire another dynamic action that updates the State when the button is clicked / modified values what works the best.

  I am struggling to get this to work and I even tried to copy these settings and do them as hidden for example bind input P1_A to P1_A_Hidden by a dynamic action and have the report where clause =: P1_A_HIDDEN, but have not managed to get this working.

  It's possible?  I know its easy to simply send the page and make it work, but I want the experience to be quite uniform for the user and act as you never leave the page.

  I saw on the packages of the app in the chart example.  The bubble chart has a list selector (salary) and the table updates dynamically, it seems so that the process can occur, but I need the user to enter text and not use selection lists.

  The button simply trigger a unique dynamic action of refreshment on the IR region. Session state for page elements must be processed automatically by specifying them in the property Page to submit Items of the IR region.

• Why my dynamic text fields are not complete?

  For some reason are not filling most of my fields of dynamic text. The only new thing before it stopped working correctly, I added was a new button, but anyway... Whether or not I take the key, no text field is filling. It is on all the layers I have. If I change the font of text fields, they begin to fill in correctly... and when I do all the characters of the same type... they begin to fill not more!

  So I currently have a form to fill out, asking me if certain actions are possible. I am fairly new to the technical aspects of livecycle so real with me if you can.

  I have a series of 4 boxes with values assigned to each. Below the 4 boxes, I have a 4 additional text fields at least one fields relate to one of the 4 possible box selections.

  OK, here we are so spare with me:

  Is it possible to link the 4 boxes in the text field below, i.e. When you click on one of the 4 boxes, the included value apart from that the check box automatically to fill the text field below about 4 possible selections?

  Second question: How can I change the text field automatically calculate numeric values with the 4th text field ending by the result of the calculation?

  If I'm working on the fact that the four items of the table is called:

  1. currentBalance
  2. accrual accounting
  3. Balance
  4. eligibleHours

  So if you go on the 3rd field (balance) and have the following text in the calculate (JavaScript) event:

  In the area of 4th (eligibleHours) and have the following text in the calculate (JavaScript) event:

  this.rawValue = balance.rawValue / 2;

  Right now, I'm looking for text fields (in a table) for 'add more lines' but at the same time be Visual on screen - so I guess that the size of the lines will have to dynamically increase the size based on the amount of information added in this text field...
