• How to successfully reset the fields in a repeating subform

  I'm more and more frustrated just trying to create a form dynamic xml () with lifecycle designer.

  As a test, we build a form that contains a repeating subform.

  We want to reset the fields in the current subform and only the current subform using the following snippet:

  You should not add a string to the somExpression, you must Access the Kundennummer field and then use the somExpression instead of do it yourself.

• Repeat the field values by repeating the header (flowed subform)

  I have a request form which consists of three main sections - a header, a table of details, and a footer.

  The Details table must be able to expand to fit, which means that the form should be able to escape on a second page. All the fields in the header must repeat on the second page. The footer should only appear once, at the bottom of the table of details, not repeated on each page.

  After much tinkering with flowed and positioned subforms, I've got this work with the Details table inside a subform sank, with a subform positioned in the lines of header and footer in the table. I suspect that this is not the 'proper' way, but it's the only way I could make it work.

  So my head joyfully repeats on the second page, but the values typed in the first page header fields do not appear on the second page. The user must be able to change the header on any page and all pages update headers.

  Can someone please point me to a tutorial or give me an idea of what code would accomplish this? I don't know how to reference the field repeated to set its value.

  If I do it is crazy, and there is a better way, it would be good to know too. I use es2

  Set the binding for the fields in the header 'Use of global data' - on the binding of the object palette tab.

  Select the cell where you want the repeating section, and then select menu table-> insert a table. Select 1 for the column and 1 for the line.

  In the properties of the previously added line, check the box "repeat the line for each data item '...

  Through your program use the Instance Manager to add another line when running.

  Table1.Row1.table2.Row1.instanceManager.addInstance (1);

  Where Table and Row1 are the main table. And Table2 and Row1 child inside the Table1 table.

• Need to repeat the field on each form page

  I have a form that is set to flow. The form has three main subforms. The first subform is CampusNameSubform. This package contains a text field. The subform is on Position/allow Page breaks, the rest of the tabs are the default settings. The second subform, 'HeaderSubform', is the reproducible 'zone' that contains a menu drop down, two text fields and a repeating table. The third subform is an 'add new target' button which, when you click on add a new 'box', ('HeaderSubform' with the extendable table). It all works very well.

  (I have the Master page set up with the title of the form and the button "print" which is a document header and total number of pages in the footer of the document.) The two objects of the header and footer are outside the area of the Master Page content).

  Problem: How can I get the CampusName field to appear on all new pages as they are created? As new pages are created via the repeating table, or the button "Add a new goal" the campus name field appears only on page 1. I tried several combinations between the page and the master page design, but I can not get the CampusName text field to appear with data on each page. FYI - the info on the ground will not change. Each campus has its own form. So what I really need, is to enter the name of campus once and have the field repeat on each subsequent page that pages are created via the repeating table or on the button Add a new goal.

  I don't see anything obvious as to why it does not work.  I haven't really time to jump into it entirely, as I have to do to solve this problem.  Continue to play with what we talked about and see if you can get anywhere.  It MAY simply not be possible, but I generally don't like to accept this response.  If you have any questions faster, I'd be happy to help you.  I just won't be able to solve it completely.  Good luck and don't forget to post if solve you the problem.

  Here are some notes on the event viewer reports that can help you.   Let me first tell you that our code is activity masking errors (the cache instead of working on them).

  This means that you do not check the errors at all. You must at least print a log with the error message, you receive, if you get one!

  To solve your problem, you override the method prepareForDML() of the entity or entities in question. You can calculate and set the necessary attributes until they get engaged in the doDML(). Do not use doDML() because it is too late in the life cycle.

• Reports do not post after you have defined the field of authentication

  to solve a different problem (see 1570267.1) I had to put the field of authentication in my Web profile (empty previously), after which the reports do not report in the report repository. The message log looks like this:

  The XML returned by the web server is not valid.

  Cannot process the report repository HTTP response.

  Transfer HTTP error.

  I tried that once the domain of authentication field is left blank, the report repository works again.

  There are some configuration that I need to find, the documentation mentions this:

  I'm confused by the present, what is weblogic.properties? I can't find such a file on the server, should I seek weblogic.xml instead? Where to enter the parameters of weblogic.httpd.session.cookie.domain ? And what other settings do I - is the application server default_auth_token relevant? Any settting on the web server?   The solution was to change host URI node IP address, fully qualified domain name report. Reboot, repeat the test. Similar problem is described in the Doc ID 625148.1

• How to integrate the fields predefined in a design?

  I'm working on a model that is in SVN and which was not initially with areas.

  I've created a few areas in my defaultdomain.xml, changed some of the fields to be used for these new domains, registered the project are committed to svn changes.

  Kent thanks for the help, I've been checking what you suggested and the file has not been created.

  Even do what was suggested by the user13430807 (the checkbox 'Import into default fields' disabled when importing to the design) also unsolved.

  But with your suggestions reminded that the application may have a validation of imported domain names, and if they existed in the defaultdomains.xml were not imported into the design (even with the uncheked checkbox).

  If step 3 in may case does not happen because the names match those already in the areas by default file, and therefore the domain file does not end up added to the versioned directory.

  The way I solve it was:

  1. Copy the file defaultdomains.xml which contains all the areas that I have created and are used in another folder, rename it as myDomains.xml.
  2. Close to the design. Go to tools-> domain Administration, remove all of the areas that I created and save.
  3. Open the drawing and go ├a import-> Domains, select the myDomains.xml and importing ("Import in the default fields" option is unchecked)
  4. Save the project.
  5. Automatically, the application creates and adds the file /domains with the file myDomains.xml inside to svn.
  6. Close and reopen the design in order that the tables column displays correctly using these areas.

  A minor problem was add the new domain folder svn, the 4EA2 gives an error about it, but using turtle has been added without major problems. This error seems to be the same already reported in https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2588157.

  It was not necessary to change the directory to the default fields, I'll check with another Member of the team but I think that will solve the problem that Kent has shown on multiple designs, in fact, I need to do more tests.

• Need help on repeat lines of the table and the subform

  I hope someone can help me find a way to accomplish things with a subform of repeating table in a form I'm building.  I have attached the file here.

  I have a table (AssessChart1Table) set up on pg 7 (analysis) and built in buttons (AddRowAssesChart1 and DeleteRowAssesChart1) so that the user can add or remove rows of additional data according to the needs.

  The problem is that the user enters also cross the line header (AssessChart1HeaderRow1) in this data table.  There are 10 available columns; However, they will have to add more data than that. Therefore, I made a button (AddMoreCourses) for the user to click on to add another instance of the subform table (AssessEvalChart1) and also to cancel adding the subform with this button (UndoAddMoreCourses).

  In addition, I setup that whatever data the user enters in the cell of this table cell (Prog-DeptObjChart1) are automatically transferred to another table (AssessChart2Table), cell (Prog-DeptObjChart2), which is located on the next page (AnalysisCont1).

  All above works very well except that whenever the user presses the button (AddMoreCourses) I don't want it to automatically fill cells of text field that are copied from (AssesChart1HeaderRow3) because I need the user to be able to enter different values rather than add more columns to fit their data.  In addition, I would like that the values of the cells in the left column to repeat well because these values will not change. Currently the values of the cells in the left column that wear down (AssessChart2Table) to get stripped on (AssessChart2Table) whenever I the user pushes button Add more courses or cancel add more courses.

• EasySign: what I can or cannot change the fields to fill?

  Is it just me, or is Acrobat EchoSign a hostile user to the garbage piece? I use reader 10.1.3. This is a form that I would complete and perhaps 'sign' with a TIFF of my signature, but first I have to type in some areas. Arrived at this point took me 20 minutes this morning:

What I have to do when I want to edit a multi-line field? My workaround over the years have range from every possible thing you can imagine, the scan in Photoshop or Illustrator, Quark or InDesign; in the fields of the blind and double-exposures on a printer laser. the glue; even to hack the fields the PostScript with setfonts and the movetos shows.

  I spent 40 years in the graphic arts; half of them I've struggled with Acrobat, on some products work quite complex with the features of questionable when delivery shoehorned in PDF format.   I have to say that a large part of the problem is due to the agency providing the form. This would have worked much better if they had taken the time to add real interactive form fields so that you wouldn't have to worry about the typewriter tool. It's actually good that Adobe provides that as an option of last resort for PDF files that look like forms. It of a little silly to provide a PDF of a form and makes it not to fill, especially since it's possible since Acrobat/Reader 3. This particular form would be easy to implement with fields.

  Regarding the file TIFF is not not qualify, it is worth looking at in more. Consider filing a bug report.

• Sets a field in the subform and move all the fields?

  I am building a form and thought all I had to do was to "tweak" the location of some numeric fields and date to complete it.  These fields are floating in the text fields.  But when I move a field, all other fields move too.  When I press on the arrow to the left of the key fields still float to the right.  What is going on?

  My form of hierarchy is as follows:

  Form

  -> header as date fields, buttons, digital.  (this part of the form is ok)

  -> WorkHistory subform (content = Flowed, flow direction = up and down)

  -> Table2 (Binding = table repeat for each data item)

  -> tableheader

  -> tabledetail

  -> tablefooter

  -> PaymentInfo subform (content = positioned)

  -> digital text with "floating" fields and date fields.  This is the section, I have questions.  I am positioning the fields to appear as if it is part of the text fields.  All the numberic, text, date and lines, but not text fields, are moved when a field is moved.

  I am using lifecycle Designer ES2, version 9.0

  Strange behavior, I think that because you have a positioned subform (Subform1) nested under a subform sank (WorkHistory).

  I've changed that while they were at the same level and the fields are moving without the fields next to them.

• Duplicate the data in the fields Help Needed

  We have a 9 Word form page which has a few repeat information, have converted to LiveCycle but am stuck on knowledge how to make the data in a field show also in another so that the user doesn't have to enter twice.  Finally, we will remove the duplicated fields, but for many reasons, at the moment they must stay there.  I don't want a contractor having to enter their name twice, etc. and have my main form of data on the front of the 9 pages, and then when they get to the last page with sigs, etc., I would that they have already entered for their company information to show.

  I am very new to Designer ES, and when I did some forms in Adobe 9.0 forms some time back, all I had to do was of the same name and if I entered info in one he would show to another.  ARE does not seem to do that, and I can't find out how to add any code to the field.  Don't know why, but a lot of my options are grayed out.

  Giving them the same name is only part of the solution... .you need to change the link (on the object palette/link tab) to Global.
