Automatic rejection of Windows Live Mail of messages

I have been informed that Windows Live Mail has been automatically reject email newsletter (all about.com).  I am running Windows 7, but it's the same on another computer running Vista.  Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Windows Live Mail may not refuse messages. At least is not the sender would know. Rejection messages are coming from your e-mail server. Any chance you leave messages on the server and the Inbox of the server has reached its capacity?

Right click on the name of the account above the Inbox. Properties | Advanced. Uncheck: Leave a copy of messages on the server.

If the links do not open a browser window to the referenced page, then this is the browser's file/protocol associations that are confused. I suggest you follow these steps to (re) - make Internet Explorer as default browser:
    1. The default type in the start search box, and select default programs results.
    2. Select set your default programs.
    3. In the left pane, select Internet Explorer.
    4. At the foot of the page, click set this program as default.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Select to set the default settings for the access and the computer program.
    7. Select custom , and then click the chevrons pointing to extend the selection.
    8. Under choose a default browser, select Internet Explorer.
    9. For other browsers you use, select enable access to this program .
    10. Click OK, and then restart the computer.
Now try to click a link in an e-mail. If it still does not work, please describe in detail what is happening, including the full text of the error message.
  • How to recover contacts from Windows live mail email messages from the hard drive.

I was download my messages to e-mail AT and T through Windows live mail (Pop3). My computer has a hardware problem and stopped working.

However, the hard drive is fine and all the data is safe. I now have a new computer. How can I transfer old computer to the new e-mail and messages

Windows live mail in the new computer can actuall import the old e-mail messages and contacts.

Plug the old drive to the new computer.

You may need to show hidden files to see the records of WLMail.

    olddrive:\Users\old Live Mail

Drag and drop messages into an open folder of WLMail.

If you have been given a copy of messages on the AT & T server you have duplicates.

  • How to import my Windows Live Mail email messages in mail for Windows 8?

Before that I have upgraded Vista to Windows 8 I exported my (a few thousand) e-mail messages to save them in a folder.   Now I would like to import to Windows 8 mail.    How do I do that?

I had the same problem, although in my case, I was trying to transfer data to a new computer of Win8 from Win7.  I wanted to just transfer my files, e-mail and contact groups, as I did with previous updates.  According to technology Microsoft Office response that I talked for about an hour, Microsoft does NOT provide a way to import data from Microsoft previous E-mail programs (windows live mail) to any application of Win8, and you can't do that with Outlook.com either.  Basically, Win8 with all tiles or such is not really a basic messaging application yet.  She told me that I have to do is to get a copy of Outlook or windows live mail on the Win8 Office part, then run as a Win7 machine.  This seems to be the best answer, until Win8 is more mature.

  • ? symbol in the Windows Live Mail response messages

When I reply to a message in Windows mail, my typical answer is always preceded by the? symbol.  For example.  If I type and send the "thank you" message, it is sent and received '? Thank you' still the? symbol precedes my messages.

In my view, this is a known bug in Windows Live e-mail software, you could drop by the forums Live and post this here to confirm.

    Hi mate

If you search for this error message (there was a problem sending the command to the program) on google page then you will get many visits.
Seems that you are not the only person who gets the error message, but this has nothing to do with your Toshiba laptop with the Windows operating system.

In most cases a firewall causes this problem maybe you have installed Zonealarm or something like that
Check this box and remove or disable the settings that could prevent loading software.

I hope you look at the responses from the support staff to "cannot display" question to WLSC.  It's going to be a long term job, I think. The iPad experience was conducted using the same Internet connection or another?

I'm sorry, it will take an expert in demystifying the WLMail journal to address the problem of calendar. It is quite common, although I suspect that the message "corrupt data" covers a multitude of different errors. They should have enough cases to be able to say what the problem is, but they are so starved of resources that I doubt that anyone has attended the.

  • How I change my ID of Windows live mail. Unable to send Email with Yahoo ID present

For the last few months I spend hours ranging from help in support of sites etc sites, try to change my Windows live mail 2011 ID so I could e-mail. Somehow be an absolute genius, I entered an ID Yahoo active as my windows live mail ID. Whenever I'm on a MSN site (and sometimes others) when accessing "share or email" it automatically opens a Windows live mail sending form. It still shows my address like this Yahoo address and I get a failure. For any consultation of everyone else, it is the actuall message:

The connection to the server has failed.

    Topic "

    Server: "smtp.mail.yahoo.com".

Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E

    Protocol: SMTP

    Port: 25

    Secure (SSL): No.

    Socket error: 10013

This message was received honestly more than 70 times. When I want to "spend" a few hours, days (and nights), I'll start again in this adventure with absolutely no positive results.

Please please help! How can I change my ID to the one I use, for example, for HOTMAIL?   Thanking you in advance

    Try this:

Click the Start button, select Control Panel and click Add/REMOVE. On the page Add/Remove to find the windows live essentials and click on modify it / remove button. This will display a page that offers the possibility to uninstall or repair. Check the button fix and on the next page, select this option to repair windows live mail. I hope this helps.
