  Looks like you are trying to add a signature to your personal voicemail, you get on your Blackberry, non professional emails, right?

  If so, you should be able to connect to your wireless service provider Web site and change it in the Blackberry Email settings there (for example, Set Up E-Mail Blackberry, or something like that).  Each supplier will have their own way to give access you, but it will be through their website.  I know that frustration with the Junk «sent by blackberry...» ».  I just changed mine to my name.

  No, it isn't, but you can record a message with one sent to you.

  We use CodeTwo on our exchange server to put logos on most of the emails. Funny thing is that it will put the logo on the BlackBerry emails (somehow him changes in html) but not on the EAS devices like win mo or iChose

  Yes it will work (I don't see the point in it...) SMS (SHORT Message Service) is intended for short messages, and a signature that goes against. Someone that you send a text to know who it's from.

  Options > AutoText.

  Hello Beth... Welcome to the forums.  To remove this member from sentence of your emails, click on the menu button (on the left), then the installation folder, click e-mail settings.  Select the e-mail account that you want to change, and then click the trackball, then click on modify.  Scroll to the signature box and you can either change the signature is going to say, or remove it completely.  I am a newbie to BB as well... I've had my turn a little over a week now and love it so far.  I learn something new about this almost every day.  Good luck with yours as well!

  I just updated my Blackberry 9700 to firmware 5.0.0.59 3. I noticed that the AutoStandby 2.4.1 utility that locks the keyboard 30 seconds no longer works. An automatic keyboard lock is a very basic feature for each phone, and it would be good if it can be reinstated in a future firmware version. I use now ultimate lock, but this can only be enabled by the lock top-left button.

  I'm also a fan of the bedside mode because it prevents that the LED flashes at night and automatically profiles, when you put it in the module loading. Is there a way to stop the clock display while the phone is charging in bedside mode? I have already defined "Screen dark" to Yes but he always lit the room.

  Thanks, but this just disables the bedside mode and the LED continues to blink when email arrives during the night. I set now the option "Screen dark" no, this prevents the clock of your stay in bedside mode. I re-enabled auto keypad lock (without password) using the AddOnIs app.

  When I type a word on an e-mail or a text message that is not in the dictonary units, the phone tries to suggest a word he thinks im trying to type for example when I tape "chippy" the suggested word is "rough" I don't want to use, but when I press the button space phone change automatically in "restless".

  I tried changing several things and can not know to stop this without losing the suggested word cause my spelling is not the bast and could do with it!

  Scroll Down to 'The Mobile Network Options' then select 'Data Services' and change it to OFF when in Mexico, this way you can still use your phone without using any data item.

  I added a signature in the BB desktop e-mail settings and now it will not be updated on the handset after that I edited it.  First success and problem now.  How do you get your signature to update after you have edited?  Is there a problem that others have lived? My colleague also with a Bold 9700 is experencing exactly the same problem.  Even if we hit 'apply', it will not be updated on the handset and despite showing the correct information on the desktop.

  Try to make it through the phone itself.

  Configure-> E-mail settings-> select the E-mail-> Edit

  and Signature there.

  No, no, what you are experiencing is certainly not normal... BBs can, when properly configured, automatically connect to compatible car kits. See this reference:

  • KB18576 The BlackBerry smartphone always invites you to connect to a Bluetooth connection instead of the automatic connection

  The problem is that, if there is a similar setting inside your car kit who also needs adjustment, then there is no way for RIM to provide statement... you will need to return to the installer you originally used.

  FYI... your desire to 'just phone a Helpdesk of RIM' is admirable, but moved. When you bought your BB and subscribed to services, you have learned how the BB support model works. RIM has no service support for you in the ring upward. Rather, the model of care is distributed with carriers and authorized dealers taking primary formal support to their end users, with the possibility for them to escalate if RIM that they cannot resolve.
