Automator text Audio File.action

Hi, I m trying to convert a simple text in .txt format of an audio file with the action automator´s "audio file of the text. It works fine but I´d like to improve results by adding silence between paragrafs and sections in the text. Does anyone know if y at - it an option or instance that inserts silences in the text that could be recognized by the Text2Audio action?

Thnks!

Hello

Put this [[slnc]] 2000 in the text where you need 2 seconds of silence.

But it does not work with some voices.

  • Assigning an action to pause all audio files. How?

I want to do is to have an action that will pause all audio with a single line of code. Someone once said I could just assign a class and have action break anything with this class. However, there is no way (at least is not that I could find) to assign a class to an audio file.

That's what I care so you can have an idea:
I create a project to animate a tape that has 9 albums, and each album has appx 10 songs. When someone clicks on the cover of the album, the news of the album, including a list of songs appears in a div on the stage. They can then click on one of the song titles and the corresponding song begins to play. You can then click on another song, which stops at the first song, then start the new song. You can then click on a cover of the different album, which swaps the albums. The permutation of the albums is easy (just clear on the container div, then load a new album info div inside). The question that I am running is to swap the songs belonging to this same album without having to write 9 independent of the actions of break (one for each songs that could be read) and an action game for each song and assign them to each button. I've tried Mute All Audio to a mousedown then a game to a mouseup action, but puts it on mute all audio forever and will not play the song even if the game action is assigned to a mouseup (which comes after a mousedown). I also tried to make each piece into a symbol and swap them in and out of a container div, but who starts the song played from the beginning, when I would have the break of the song then it begins to return to the same place.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you

    To do this simply:

    SYM.$("audio").each (Function () {this.pause () ;});

When you save the favorite it will use and store the parameters of the noise print used at the time. It can not load the new imprint from a file. So if all your audio files that you want to batch have the same noise footprint then you are OK.

  • Adding text audio blocks

    Hello

I use 7 Captivate to create a course for my employer. On one screen, I have a graph composed of several areas. I want the user to click on each box and see a text while also playing audio describing the contents of this box. Thanks to the wonderful this forum, I was driven to advanced Actions and have works perfectly with the text. Last week I was given audio files. I opened each tip Action, added the audio file correct and sound. When I saw the slide, audio works fine, but the text does not appear. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I've included a screenshot of one of the advanced actions.

    AdvActions.JPG

Text containers have a duration of only 3 seconds, so that areas of click, which trigger actions (attention: a shared action is not an advanced based on the same script action, will provide some links) have their suspension point way more later (can't see where because a calendar stops before the end of the slide). If you show text captions and the read head has already gone beyond 3 seconds, text will never be shown. It is indeed a problem of chronology, as I suspected. Extend the blocks of text at the end of the slide (CTRL-E) and try to understand why I have proposed to group them.

But if they click while playing the slide audio, there are always two audio clips playing simultaneously.

    Take a look on: http://blog.lilybiri.com/dare-to-share-part-1 and http://blog.lilybiri.com/dare-to-share-part-2

I still have to write the third part on reuse stocks shared in another project.

  • Multiple audio files in a single slide Captivate 5?

It is easy to add multiple audio files in Camtasia Studio: just drag gthem.

Captivate 5 asks me if I want to replace the current audio file. I don't. I just need - at the most - you short audio files that will play in order, perhaps with a short break between the two

    Is this possible?

    Welcome to our community

Captivate allows audio at three levels.

    • Background - plays for the duration of the project
    • Slide - plays when the slide plays
    • Object - plays when the object appears

What you must do if you want multiple audio files to read is to insert objects and associate audio with objects. If you do not want to see the object and all what you want to do is to hear the audio, use a Transparent caption with no text or a box to highlight without color or a box click with no break and no action when you click it.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Want the audio file, click on the box to play when you click

    Hi all

I would like to have a click box that plays a short audio file when you click it, much the way you can have a view of the legend and a playing audio file with a bearing. It seems that there is no way to get the 'success on click' action to be 'read the audio file '. I can associate an audio file with the box click on the Audio tab, but this makes the audio file play automatically when the click box, not display when clicked.

If someone was able to get an audio file to play when the user clicks on a click box, as I describe it, without connection to another slide and without the help of a button? I don't want to use a button because the real object that is clicked is a box of nail on something else. The highlight box means that there is more information about the highlighted item.

In addition, I don't want to create a branch to another slide, because they are really short texts of audio presentation bit, and I have three of them. I prefer to have interactivity on a slide, rather that force the user to navigate around.

If anyone did what I describe and has ideas, I welcome them. At this point, I think a bearing with legend and play on the mouse on an audio file can be the best thing, except if the user moves the mouse out of the hotspot, the sound stops. Maybe it's not bad anyway, but thought I'd check here everything first before resorting to a reversal.

    Thank you very much!
    Lisa

    Hi Rick!

Thanks a lot for your answer. Hmm... I think in my situation, workaround to reread the previous slide to reset the box click doesn't work. Before arriving at these interactive click boxes, the slide has other text and audio playback. Start the slide would re-read everything until the blade stops, then display the interactive elements. However, I think that something like that might work for a project where the interactive stuff "starts" immediately on the slide. It's simply not how mine is set up at this stage. I think that the legend of attached with audio reversal will probably be my best option right now.

    Thanks again for your response!

  • Problems with Firefox 13. Cannot see the drive of audio files online. Video only works on some sites. Everything works OK or update Flash. No change

The problems started when Firefox updated 13. tried to download the latest version of Flash 11.2.202.235. No change.

Video works sometimes on YouTube, not at all on most of the other sites.

Audio player not working do not at all. Not yet visible or Real Player downloads against playing within the application like Amazon.

Tried to turn Add ons to find the culprit. No luck.

Just as there should be in Internet Explorer.

On my WordPress site has MP3 audio files and uses a flashplayer to view and play music files. With flash player on, nothing appears, (Bank space where audio player would normally displayed)

If I turn off the flash of the shock wave, a text link that Downloads MP3 in a new window (quick player), also video does not work on any Web site. If I turn off the Flash and quicktime, text link to downloads of audio file in realplayer.

Thank you. I uninstalled Flash 11.3 and installed the old version, 10.3. Everything works fine now. I don't know if it is a problem of Mozilla or Adobe, but it seems strange that either would such a problem of incompatibility to exist.

  • In preview, can I listen to audio files in an interactive pdf?

We did a huge interactive pdf file in InDesign, with text and sound and video files. They read well both in Acrobat Reader on imac and a PC with Acrobat Pro. The file opens in the application overview on imac, but then the audio files and video files are not possible to open. Anyone know if there is a feature to listen to sound files in the application preview or Acrobat Reader is that so?

If your A / V files are not also playable in the preview, then there is no configuration preview that will change this fact, and the interactive visualization is Adobe Acrobat Reader on the Mac.

  • Sharing an audio file with the InvocationFramework

    Hi all

I wonder if anyone knows the way to share an audio file using an InvokeAction in QML.  I have a .m4a files created by my DictaNoteapplication, I want to be able to attach to an e-mail or share on BBM.  I have tried in the past to do and I was unable.  Someone at - it an example of this?  I am currently unable to make the appropriate tests because I don't have my Dev Alpha and THE device has not arrived yet and the Simulator does not appear to be one of the PIM applications available and I was unable to get the BBM Installer.  Perhaps because of the old version of sim.

You can go there.  You can share any type of file using this example.

    InvokeActionItem {
        title: "Share Over BBM"
        query {
            invokeTargetId: "sys.bbm.sharehandler"
            invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE"
            uri: "file:///path/to/your/file/someFile.m4a"
        }
    }

  • Reading audio file included in the project

Right now I am able to play audio files by extracting a path of the file location.

    Ex: file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/music/file.wav

I suspect that this will help.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/add-plain-text-or-binary-files-to-an-Applica...

Be sure to add the file to your project.

  • Add logic to an audio file to play only 1 time.

I have a slide in which the user will come back several times. It contains an audio file that I would only play the first time that the user is viewing this slide. How do I do that? I have 9 Captivate.

This makes it easier. Remove the slide audio, first find in the library, because you will use a command to run only the first time.

Create a v_visit variable user with a default value of 0.

Create this conditional action advances (or shared):

    IF v_visit equals 0

Play Audio... Add the extract audio from library

    Assign the v_visit with 1

    Continue

    ON THE OTHER

    Continue

Oops, forgot one last step: trigger this action by the event to enter the slide.

If you prefer to use across multiple slides, you need to reset the variable to 0, perhaps by using the next button on the slide? Do not use the on exit event, unless you are sure that the last image of the slide will be reached. This is not the case if you have a button depending on who has the action «Go ├a next page»

Rick workflow was the only possible in older versions, before ordering that Play Audio appeared. I spoke on this subject:

  • MP4 files can only be used as audio files Premiere Pro CS6

Recently, I tried to put a text on top of some video footage.

However, when I imported the video file (see screenshot) and tried dragging it in my editing, Premiere Pro only recognizes as an audio file.

This type of file is MPEG MOVIE and I used it without a problem in CS5. I know that this shouldn't be the case.

Can anyone recommend a way to do either Premiere Pro recognizes my file video (in the screenshot), or instead, a file type that pro will recognize such as video and audio.

  • How to play several audio files at the same time and mute toggle some voices?

    Hi all

Forgive me if this is mentioned elsewhere and kindly point me in the right direction.  I'm a kid with flash and action script so if you are in doubt, error on the side of more specific in your response, there is a lot of vocabulary I still don't know.

    The goal:

I have 4 audio files which are Soprano, Alto, tenor and low voice of a musical example.  The result should allow the user to play all 4 voices at once and dumb voice specific to hear all the possible combinations of voices playing together or solo.  I imagined a check box at the beginning of each rated musical line that puts that voice muted when checked.

It would be ideal to have the game, interrupt and stop reproduction choices where 'Stop' resets playback at the start and 'Pause' maintains the current place in time and takes over from there, once playback is started again.

I am able to get the simple audio files to play from a single button, but I am struggling to find how to link multiple audio files to start at the same time by a single button.  I found this link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1069107?start=0 & tstart = 0

where the last message mentions the use of tables, but being a complete beginner, I don't completely understand what they are doing.

I know it's a big piece of questions at once, but if you could meet any part of it, or direct me to a tutorial/instructions, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for taking the time to help others

  • How can I add audio files for my adobe muse Web site?

I'll be weekly by adding audio files to my muse site created and I wanted to know how to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Bob

You must add the files for download on your site of Muse, the option of the file menu.

After you have added files, you can link the files with any text or page content. You can use the same method to load audio files every week.

    Thank you
