Availability XP on new computers purchased after 10/22/2010

Site Microsoft Web indicates that the XP operating system will be unavailable on new computers purchased after 10/22/2010. When shopping today 11/26/2010, I found many netbooks in stores sold with XP.  This contradicts what Microsoft says. Retailers include Best Buy, target, Radio Shack, etc..  Netbook manufacturers are Acer, HP/Compaq, Asus, etc. Any thoughts?
