  It will be different depending on the manufacturer of the computer that you have. Go to the control panel and go to the mouse option. On some computers, there is a tab for the Touchpad and you can turn it off from there.

  Shockwave Flash should not do that. However, if you want to delete it go to programs and features in Control Panel. Click once on Adobe Shockwave Player and click on uninstall in the menu at the top.   There is a custom component, component MassMetaData, which can be used for this specific feature. I've seen some users use it to update metadata on several items in one fell swoop.
