AVI import badly 86::1, it may be not supported FORMAT, but he import in obsolete versions

Hello, a few days later I have 8.1 Windows + after effects CC 2014, I work with my project, I make the film.

Today, I reinstall the whole system clearly WINDOWS 10 + After Effects CC 2015 but when I try my latest project to import to MODIFY, AE telling me After Effects error 3. AVI cannot be imported can be in unsupported format.

A note:

2 years ago I have the same problem in after effects CC, I used the script to change the CONTAINER VIDEO of AVI to MP4 and then import video well, and now I have same situation, but magic... some time later, I could import files without change containing far, I don't remember I have change but I can import. AVI files without changing the AVI to MP4 container.

I can try to IMPORT AVI files? Perhaps what should I install codecs or something else? PLS HELP! SOR for bad English.

It was a new install of Windows 10 or was it an upgrade of Windows 8?

At any time in the past - even while he was still Windows 8 - have you ever installed a codec pack?

What codec is her you can't import images? AVI is just a container format.

If you install CC 2014 on your new system, it is important files?

Deleted file recovery can recover incomplete files, i.e. the part of these files may be missing.  Recover deleted files is much more reliable if recovery of a backup, instead of using recovery software.

These things depend on the operating system and the file system.

I am trying to bring three distinct animations in Premiere Pro, but it won't shoot them in the Source window or timeline of the sequence. Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting? I can't imagine it's a codec issue, if the files are unzipped?

Imagine still once your screen printing said they are bitmap files... IE a string of images, not 'really' a video that the Organization recognizes... and a rate of 40 FPS is also "weird".

Autodesk has other options... to create a file with a 'true' video output codec?

Because the Assembly is not the same thing as play, you may need to find a codec to be installed to be able to edit (NOT a codec pack!)

Autodesk has a place where you can download and install 'their' codec to edit files?

  • does not support format imported gif animate?

I import a gif (static) in lead and publish and makes a png image. I don't want a png I imported a gif for a reason. So I import a gif go to publish settings and uncheck "export Active image" so now nothing appears.

Here is a simple file with a gif in it. Drag the index file in the browser and you don't see the gif, open to animate and you see that there is a gif in there.

I use Web beacons for solid colors, jpg for stuff with slopes and png for things with transparencies. the gif is 4 k less the png. I could compress the png more if I have to.

Flanimate is still supported GIF exactly as well as always - he did it matter them very well. As we have already explained, there is no reason so well he could publish them.

I just created a color bitmap United 200 x 200 and saved as GIF and PNG. The GIF is 345 bytes, the PNG is 225 bytes. If you somehow get png more GIFs, I guess it's because you're not optimize or reduce the palette.

AVI (MOV, MPEG, WMV, etc.) that are envelopes, can contain almost anything. It is what is inside these envelopes, that counts. This ARTICLE explains in detail, and also shows you how to look at the inside of the package.

  • installed the latest updates of windows 7... now the computer does not recognize my video files avi... says "format not supported".

I have installed the latest updates (02/27/10) and when I open sony vegas to edit some files avi... they were offline... when I tried to read with windows media player it says format not supported... before when I played these files, they would not have to synchronize audio... it never happened with my other computer with Vista... system restore solved the problem of format not supported... but so far has caused this problem? and what about the problems of synchronization? the files seem to sync when played with the hp program...

    Hi derlonewolf,

Because you performed a System Restore you would not be able to determine which update problem from occurring. You will have to wait for the update to your computer to determine the update that caused the problem. The update does not necessarily cause the problem to occur again. However, you can view the history of updates to updating history.

    1. open the control panel (all items view), and click the Windows Update icon.

    2. click on the link to view update history.

    3. to view the details of a single Windows Update-

    (A) select and right-click on a Windows Update list, and then click details.

    (B) click on close when finished.

As far as the question of timing is concerened, you can scan SFC on your computer and check if the problem persists.

Steps to perform a scan SFC:

    1. Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow

    2. type the following command and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
[The command sfc /scannow. analysis of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.]

A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient, because the analysis may take some time

    3. If all the files require that a SFC replace will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Win7 DVD for this process to continue

    4. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    5. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Check the link below for further guidance on scan SFC - mentioned

You can also make manual updates instead of automatic updates and then see what are updates will be installed on the computer.

I want to install a new HARD drive in a tower of the mine to a friend. It was initially created as a RAID 0 configuration with two 160 GB HDD. The replacement is a single 1 TB of HARD drive. I get the message "this computer's hardware may not supported booting to this disk.» Am I missing an approach from a RAID 0 for a RAID configuration, no?

    Hi RegularPencils,

I suggest that you check in the basic input/output system (BIOS), if you find an option to disable the RAID. If you find, disable the RAID and try to install Windows vista, check if it helps.

Important: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
