AVS4YOU

I received a notification of the presence of the virus in my tracking system which resembles an unsolicited AV online scan (which I haven't started). Therefore, I try to look for infection and so I run regedit: computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >
SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > AVS4YOU

I remember it having deleted the registry under a site of different rating a long time ago, but now he's back. What is it?

Also, I don't remember meeting Wow6432Node in my earlier comments of regedit.

You do NOT install a second antivirus on a computer, and you do NOT buy anything.

Two anti-virus installed causes system fall down, conflict and freezing.

And I don't know how you managed to download any program from PC Doctor.
I advise you to install/run Malwarebytes, does not install/run any other program.

Uninstall, download/run Malwarebytes.

And do not touch the registry.

See you soon. Mick Murphy - Microsoft partner

Since you're running Vista... I suspect that you run Windows

  • How can I make still photos from the video

do you still copies of photos taken in video - any ideas on how to do this?

You may be able to take still shots with Windows Movie Maker, but you may need a conversion program like AVS4YOU change video to WMM capable of reading format. You'll probably have to pay for it.

  • Best way to decide what programs are safe to delete?

I did everything you can imagine to improve performance on my PC and finally facing the last hurdle. There are WAY to many installed programs. I removed everything that I use on a regular basis. Now I am faced with many programs that I use that came with other included software, and I want to get rid of the secondary programs. Two examples:

    1. I bought AVS Audio Converter, because he understands more than any freeware/shareware that I could find. But it also came with AVS Update Manager and AVS4YOU Software Navigator (totaling more than 19 MB)
    2. the software that controls my Creative Audigy sound cart also came with Creative MediaSource, Creative Software AutoUpdate and Creative System Information (totally more than 156 MB).
I could just try and shoot them, but I don't know if I will get a warning that this program X program requires Z 'talk' to the program. When it comes to repairing the damage be re-setup, let's say that my efforts to keep track of original installation CD have been well intentioned but above all ineffective. Two examples are just the visible part of the iceberg. I'll have to contact technical support for each company that sold me the software? Alternatives?

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

  • Y at - it a video editing software that I could use.

I was asked to edit a video together.  I have Windows 7 and Office 2010.  Is there a simple video editing software in there?

I have add more details to your previous thread if you want to further diagnose your problem with Movie Maker.

As for your current question on AVS4YOU, my guess would be that the VPS is a project file that is unique to this program.  In other words, the person who would continue to edit your project should have the same editing program, the project file and all the source files in the same places on their PC.

All video editing software are probably very similar in this regard.  For example, in Movie Maker, when you add items to your project, add transitions, etc. that they will appear in your project file.  In the case of Movie Maker, it's a .wlmp file.  A project file contains no actual video, photos or music, just the current state of your project.  It will contain a list of all your source files (the folder and the name of the relevant media file) and the details on the changes, transitions, effects, titles, legends added, etc.  But this isn't a file that can be understood by other video editing programs.

To share the results of your changes, you must save the film resulting in a video file.  There are many formats of your choice.  For example, the latest version of Movie Maker can record in MP4 or WMV format.  That can be used in other programs.  AVS4YOU lists a number of formats too.

However, which would result in a single video file with all your changes incorporated.  He would split points, individual videos/pictures, transitions, etc.  So basically, once you start editing in a video editor, you can't transfer this session to another video editor except as a completed film.

There are exceptions, for example Adobe makes it so their other products include Photoshop files and Illustrator, or part of a project of creation may be related to an After Effects project.  Another example is that a Movie Maker project can be imported into Nero video 2014 for further processing. But it must be designed for and is not common during the passage to other video editing software.

I encounter the same problem (missing EMC14.dll) with another audio application AVS4YOU Audio Editor.  Where the file can be downloaded?  Al Griffin

EMC14.dll is not the avs4you component, but we'd like to suggest a solution for this problem

Download and unzip the ConfigChange.zip run it by double clicking it.

After this attempt to use AVS Audio Editor and inform about the result.

  • Adobe Presenter 9 video editing

I have a question for anyone who can answer this question:

Adobe Presenter 9 would allow me to take a longer video and cut into small pieces to be included in a presentation? I have a set of slides, used in conjunction with a recorded instructor-led training. Registration for the ILT I think is going to be a record that is approximately 4 hours long continuous. I need to be able to enter, cut out the pieces of the record, that I need, then put them in my presentation to match the slide. Adobe Presenter 9 will allow me to do it at this level of change?

No, presenter has no worth mentioning the video editing functionality. The little there will not help you. I would recommend that you look at a tool to make breaks in the full record and then import clips using presenter of video editing. I'm sure there are many free or inexpensive options. Personally, I love following AVS tools, because they cost $59 for a lifetime upgrades and support. AVS4YOU ranking of multimedia tools. Don't let stupid sale, I've never not seen it for sale.
