\b in the transition from text to text elements. How to get just the plain text?

I use C++ FDK and get TextItems with FTI_String from the active document. But the text in the text elements contains characters that do not appear in the text. For example, \b. What is this character and how can I get only the plain text without any character of metadata of FrameMaker.

Ch,

I think you could see tabs. Presented as an escape sequence, \b translates the BACKSPACE (0x08) ASCII character. For some reason, that's how the tabs are represented when you get the text of a document with the API. You expect to show that \t or ASCII 0 x 09, but they did not.

There is no way to avoid retrieving a character entered by the user when you F_ApiGetText(). You must simply do a search and replace once you have the string in your code.

I hope I understand what you're asking here.

  • How to get just the nodes without showing the URI in sem_match?

    Hello

    I try only to retrieve all individuals in an rdf/xml ontology of test without displaying the uri. I tried strafter () and replace the functions in the filter clause to the query of sem_match without success. The uri will not go away. This is the query:

    Select one

    table (sem_match ('{? a RDF: type: a.? a: seqNumber? n.}))

    filter (strafter (str(?a), ""http://www.example.com/test.owl# ""))

    }',

    sem_models ('test'),

    NULL,

    sem_aliases (sem_alias (", 'http://www.example.com/test.owl#')),

    order of null)) by one

    I changed () () to replace strafter. The result is always the same.

    Select one

    table (sem_match ('{? a RDF: type: A.}))

    Filter (Replace (STR(?a), ""http://www.example.com/test.owl# "," ""))

    }',

    sem_models ('test'),

    NULL,

    sem_aliases (sem_alias (", 'http://www.example.com/test.owl#')),

    (null)) ORDER BY one

    Here are the results:

    http://www.example.com/test.OWL#A1

    http://www.example.com/test.OWL#A2

    http://www.example.com/test.OWL#A3

    How can I get just the nodes without showing the uri? Where am I wrong in the query? I know that I can add some annotations to the label so that I can get just the nodes. but it will more data entry. Thank you very much in advance.

    Salvation Hong,

    SEM_MATCH returns 8 columns for each variable (var, var, var$ _PREFIX, $RDFVID, $ var, var$ _SUFFIX RDFVTYP, var$ RDFCLOB, var, var and $RDFLTYP$ RDFLANG). var$ _SUFFIX is what you are looking for.

    Select a _suffix $

    table (sem_match ('{? a RDF: type: A.}',))

    sem_models ('test'),

    NULL,

    sem_aliases (sem_alias (", 'http://www.example.com/test.owl#'));

    (null)) ORDER BY;

  • How to get these substrings based on the input string

    Hi friends
    I want the substring entered the string
    the chain is something like this: 1234,3653,7684,3254,8777,987,234
    now, I want to
    the substrings between commas

    can someone help me with this pls

    in the first substring I need 1234
    in the second, I need 3653...
    so on until the end...
    regardless of the channel is to the last

    pls help

    Hello

    You can do something like this:

    SELECT     txt
    ,     REGEXP_SUBSTR (txt, '[^,]+', 1, 1)     AS part_1
    ,     REGEXP_SUBSTR (txt, '[^,]+', 1, 2)     AS part_2
    ,     REGEXP_SUBSTR (txt, '[^,]+', 1, 3)     AS part_3
    --     ...
    FROM     table_x
    ;

    If there are less than n parts, then the technique above will not raise an error; It will just return null for part_n.

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements), and the results you want from this data.
    Explain how you get these results from these data.
    What you want if the entry is like this.
    {code}
    "foo, bar".
    {code}
    ? You want to treat this as 2 pieces ('bar' is the 2nd) or a 3 s (the 2nd is NULL, and 'bar' is the 3rd)? Include examples in your sample data and results.

    Hi Frank

    Yes, but I had more than 2 tables with item_characteristics, type_characteristics

    If there are other tables involved, then CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for them (for the relevant columns only). You must not post a lot of examples of data; usually just a couple of lines per table is enough to show the problem.
    Also post the results desired from these data.

    What I try to do is, I'm comparing new_value in log_item_characteristics (whichever is most recent) with CHR_VALUE in the item_characteristics and the needs of different output values

    I am trying to query is not giving desired out put

    Point out some places where the output is wrong and explain how you get good results in these places, using specific examples from the data sample.

    select  lic.PIRM_ID, ic.CHR_ID, lic.CHARACTERISTIC_NAME,
    lic.TYPE_NAME, ic.CHR_VALUE, lic.NEW_VALUE,  lic.MODIFIED_BY,  lic.MODIFIED_ON,
    ic.CREATED_BY, ic.CREATED_ON,ic.MODIFIED_BY, ic.MODIFIED_ON
    from log_item_characteristics lic, item_characteristics ic,type_characteristics tc  where
    lic.TYPE_NAME=tc.TYPE_NAME
    and lic.CHARACTERISTIC_NAME=tc.CHR_NAME
    and lic.PIRM_ID=ic.PIRM_ID
    and tc.CHR_ID=ic.CHR_ID and ic.CHR_VALUE <> lic.NEW_VALUE
    and lic.pirm_id in ('0307490N','0307521C')
    order by lic.pirm_id

    Thank you; It is useful to see the existing query. Really, you have to format your code.

    Please can you help me

    What you've posted so far is like saying "I'm going 200 meters to the North, and then 500 meters East, but I'm not getting where I want to go." I would have a better chance to help you if you said, 'I'm out of my house, at 100, Elm Street and try to get to the supermarket at Broadway 279. I'm going 200 meters to the North... ', or, even better. "I want to buy a newspaper and some orange juice, so I thought I'd go to a convenience store. I start at my house, at 100, Elm Street... »
    Always post some examples of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, as you did in your first post) and the desired results from these data. Explain how you get these results from these data.

  • How to get the bar display of title in pixels text length?

    Hello

    Does anyone know how to get the length of the title bar text (in pixels) display?  Just to clarify, that's what I'm looking for:

    I don't see a CVI function for this.  The attribute ATTR_TITLE_FONT for GetPanelAttribute (...) is only valid for the panels of the child which prevents me from using the GetTextDisplaySize (...) to get the size.  Dive into the Windows SDK I can not even find an answer here.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

    Figured out how to do this.  Go to the SDK to get the font properties - is kind of nonobviousness.  But once you have the font properties, you can create a font of meta in CVI, with properties, and once you have the meta font you can use GetTextDisplaySize (...) to get the size.  For any future reference:

    //define a NONCLIENTMETRICS structureNONCLIENTMETRICS ncmtest;//We have to set the cbSize parameter to the size of the passed structure before retrieving it
    ncmtest.cbSize = sizeof(NONCLIENTMETRICS);
    //Get NONCLIENTMETRICS structure

  • The plain text version header

    Hello

    After a recent release, I thought that users can manually update the header on the plain text version, but I was not able to do. Is still in a beta version of exit or anyone could update manually?

    Thanks in advance!

    Ally

    Hello Ally,

    To change the plain text header manually, you need to change the header itself by accessing assets > library > e-mail header. From there, you can choose the header and change the plain text version. I hope this helps!

  • 'Create masks from text' in turn computer black screen

    I imported a ttf font in font book, then in the after effects CC and when I do the function 'create masks from text' using this text, the computer window becomes black and I am unable to read anything. The function still works with the indigenous texts well. Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot for your help. I finally thought to it. After having tried everything you said and more, I feel a little ridiculous. All I ended up having to do was to change the font type breathe I used one in distress to the solid. Works fine now. Thanks again!

  • How to get the text formatting in the tables

    Dear experts and aid

    For my project, I import an RTF file and then read the data into 3 tables. It works fine when just using the contents of the string of paragraphs. However, the final script should be able to read and to replace the text formatted...
    Why use intermediate tables? Because otherwise I need to swap between two fm-documents (and you can be a part of the book).

    The imported file starts with a certain number of lines separated into two parts by a TAB ("designates a TAB in \x08 FM)
    [[Garneau, 1990 #12]]    »   [9]
    The good article can also be locally as text, e.g. [9]
    Then follow the same (or smaller) number of paragraphs with text formatted like this:
    [9]"D. Garneau, ed., National Language Support Reference Manual (national language Information Design Guide. Toronto, CDN: IBM National Language technical Centre, 1990.

    Is it possible to replace in the body of the function below the next song

      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {
        pgfText = GetText (pgf, newDoc);
        gaBibliography.push(pgfText);
        pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
      }

    with this

      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {
        gaBibliography.push(pgf);
        pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
      }

    Do I need a special statement of the gaBibliography range?
    And how to get the right part of the lines as formatted intro thingy in table gaFmtCitsFmt ?

    Currently, I read in the tables as "strings" (function GetText not shown):

    var gaFmtCitsRaw  = [];                           // left column in processed RTF
    var gaFmtCitsFmt  = [];                           // right column in processed RTF
    var gaBibliography= [];                           // bibliography lines from processed RTF
    // filename is something like E:\_DDDprojects\FM+EN-escript\FM-testfiles\BibFM-collected-IEEE.rtf

    function ReadFileRTF (fileName) {
      var nCits=0, nBib = 0, openParams, openReturnParams, newDoc, pgf, pgfText ;
      var TAB = String.fromCharCode(8);               // FM has wrong ASCI for TAB
      var parts = [];

      openParams = GetOpenDefaultParams();
      openReturnParams =  new PropVals();
      newDoc = Open (fileName, openParams, openReturnParams);
      pgf = newDoc.MainFlowInDoc.FirstTextFrameInFlow.FirstPgf;  // get first pgf in flow

    // --- read the temp/formatted citations
      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {
        pgfText = GetText (pgf, newDoc);
        if (pgfText.substring (0,2) == "[[") {        // citation lines start with [[
          parts = pgfText.split(TAB);                 // get the two parts of the line
          gaFmtCitsRaw.push (parts[0]);               // Push the result onto the global array
          gaFmtCitsFmt.push (parts[1]);
          pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
        } else { break }
      }

    // --- read the bibliography
      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {                      // until end of doc
        pgfText = GetText (pgf, newDoc);
        gaBibliography.push(pgfText);
        pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
      }
      newDoc.Close (Constants.FF_CLOSE_MODIFIED);
    } // --- end ReadFileRTF

    The following questions will then be how to change the script of FindAndReplace of Ian Proudfoot for managing text formatted as replacement. I will need to use the copy and paste IMHO...

    Klaus, okay, before pasting, you must assign the TextSelection object at your insertion point.

    // Add a new paragraph after the current paragraph.
    var newPgf = oDoc.NewSeriesPgf (lastPgf);
    var textRange = new TextRange (new TextLoc (newPgf, 0), new TextLoc (newPgf, 0));

    oDoc.TextSelection = textRange;
    oDoc.Paste ();

    Is it possible to download the file above using FDM, can we have two account member in the line?

    I am brand new with FDM. ask for your help.

    Kind regards
    Sunil

    Create two scripts to import (choose Import Data Pump when you are prompted for the type of import script)

    (1) call the GetAccounts 1st and 2nd PutAccounts
    (2) associate GetAccounts size amount in your import format.
    (3) associate PutAccounts with the account dimension in your import format
    (4) adding NZP expression to dimension of amount
    (5) in GetAccounts put the following code...
    +' Get the names of account in the header line.
    If DW. Utilities.fParseString (strRecord, 5, 4, ",") = "number of head" Then
    + ' Local variables for the account names.
    + Acct1 dim +.
    + Acct2 dim +.
    +     +
    + ' Head Count (column 4 of 5) +.
    + Acct1 = DW. Utilities.fParseString (strRecord, 4, 5, ",") +.
    + ' Wages (column 5 of 5) +.
    + Acct2 = DW. Utilities.fParseString(strRecord, 5, 5, ",") +.
    +     +
    End If

    GetAccounts strField =

    (6) in PutAccounts put the following code...

    +'+ Local Variables
    Dim AcctName (2)
    Dim AmountVal (2)
    Dim z
    Dim rsAppend

    + "The names of individual account is analyzed and stored +"

    AcctName (2) = DW. Utilities.fParseString (RES. PvarTemp1, 2, 2, ',')

    +' If student for accounts from here import file.
    AmountVal (1) = DW. Utilities.fParseString (strRecord, 5, 4, ",")
    AmountVal (2) = DW. Utilities.fParseString (strRecord, 5, 5, ",")

    +' Name of temporary importation work table +.
    strWorkTableName = RES. PstrWorkTable

    +' Create temporary table recordset trial balance +.
    Set rsAppend = DW. DataAccess.farsTable (strWorkTableName)

    + rsAppend.Fields ("UD1") = "string C1 here +.
    + rsAppend.Fields ("node2") = "String C2 here +.
    + rsAppend.Fields ("UD3") = "String C3 here +.
    + rsAppend.Fields ("UD4") = "string C4 here +.
    + "Add folder to the collection +"
    + rsAppend.Update +
    +               +
    + End if +.
    +     +
    + End if +.

    Next

    +' Close the recordset.
    rsAppend.close

    If DW. Utilities.fParseString (strRecord, 5, 4, ',') <> '0' then
    + PutAccounts = DW. Utilities.fParseString (RES. PvarTemp1, 2, 1, ',') +.
    On the other
    + RES. PblnSkip = True.
    End If

    You may need to change the aboveto that meet your exact needs, but the basic structure of the scripts should not change too

    You can query V$ SQLTEXT or V$ SQLTEXT_WITH_NEWLINES

    Thus

    select sql_text
    from v$sqltext
    where hash_value='&hash_value'
    and address='&address'
    order by piece;

    Note: In 10g and more, you can use instead of HASH_VALUE SQL_ID and ADDRESS.

    Additonally, in 10g and above, you can also query V$ SQLSTATS where the text is stored in a CLOB called 'SQL_FULLTEXT', we must therefore DEFINE the LONG value when using SQLPlus.

  • How to get the text have the same effect as the video?

    Hello

    For the first time post here, but I wonder how to get the text of the titles have the same effect as the video behind her.

    For my video, I use 'bad tv' and other effects such as Gaussian that obviously changes the appearance of video, creating the look of VHS. However, I then inserted text via the title, but it normally appears. How can I make this text have the same effects as the video behind it?

    A friend told me I might need to add text to the video first, then do the effects, I have not tried, but wonder if there is an easier way, as this would require me to restart.

    EDIT: That's what I'm looking for. https://youtu.be/7_2PHQI89dI?t=24s The text has the same effect as the video.

    Thank you

    One way is to create a clip made up based on the title and the original clip. Then apply the effect.

    Another way is to use an adjustment layer.

    Good luck.

  • Why the transition from the server causes error?

    I reported the error to the it Department, they respond as indicated below:

    "These errors are the result of a transition from server we are currently experiencing. As soon as the server transition is complete errors should stop. »

    «The transition of the server error has to do with displacement of the IP4 to IP6.» All pages work technically, but if you happen be routed through IP6 instead of the IP4, some of our pages will not appear due to firewall issues. »

    Does anyone have suggestions on what causes the error of IP4 to IP6?

    Thanks in advance for your suggestions
