  I uninstalled sortfix as an add on. Yet, it still appears when I search. I reinstalled it. Used and then removed the 2nd time hoping to make them disappear. No chance it is still my default search. Can you help me get rid of this beast?

  You may need to reset a preference:

  1. type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press enter
  2. accept the warning message and continue (promise to be careful)
  3. in filter type the keyword . URL
  4. on this pref in the lower panel, click on this preference and click 'Reset '; It should now display a value for google.com
  5. You can or you have to may not restart Firefox
  6. Test with a new search for the location/URL bar (where you normally enter a website address) and press the Enter key

• Satellite M30 - CD/DVD has been uninstalled - how can I get that back?

  I was a little confused you removed the ODD (optical disc) of the m system?
  You see the drive in Device Manager? Is there a yellow exclamation?

  As far as I know the Windows operating system use own drivers for ODD. This means that the deleted CD/DVD drive be recognized again after the new restart or if you would scan the portable computer for the hardware (in Control Panel-> add hardware).

  Just a question; The STRANGE is listed in the BIOS? I mean the BIOS recognizes the CD/DVD drive?
  Generally, the CD/DVD drive should be recognized if the hardware is not faulty and you should be able to boot from the disk (disk recovery) in order to reinstall Windows.

  This font is likely located here: Macintosh HD > library > fonts, but do a search to confirm the location. In the font book, file > add fonts, then navigate to the location of Georgia police to make it active.
