Back of each booklet printing upside down pages.

The back of the pages is printed backwards when I use the print booklet option.

I spent all afternoon on this and I finally got it! It's against intuitive to me because 17 x 11 paper is printing landscape to create the booklet, but given that the content actually comes from a document where the orientation is portrait... drum roll please... The trick is to click Portrait under orientation in the section of the booklet of the Adobe print screen. The link is on the left. I have not checked the "Auto-rotate pages within each worksheet", whatever that means.

Hope that this help scrape the future!

I have a new officejet Pro 8625 connected to my mac has been upgraded to yosemite (10.10).  I downloaded the printer driver (v. 10.0) that corresponds to this OS.  When I print merged envelopes #10 mail in MS word (v14.4.5) another each envelope prints upside down.   What can I do?

Just in case anyone else ever has this problem, it seemed to me the solution.  The settings were preset to print double-sided with long side binding.  When I turned off the power, the envelopes print correctly.  Not sure why the flip for still another envelope causing instead of actually printing on both sides, but at least now it works.

  • Why the second page prints upside down?

I try to print from InDesign and InDesign also creates pdf files.

It is a double-sided simple pages and whenever I have print or from ID or ID created PDF the second face is printed upside down.

The problem lies only in ID I think (not the printer driver) because I tried printing from other applications and even pdf who have not recently created ID and they print correctly.

Is this something I do wrong in the configuration of my identity documents?

Larry, thank you your answer was not completely correct, but it lead me to the answer.

Orientation has been resolved: Off. Once set to Portrait it works fine.

When you use the two back the orientiation of the back side is upside down.  What have I done? and how can I solve this problem?  Help?

    Hello

The application used to print open the printer dialog, and then click Help or access the Preferences dialog box preferences brought back.

On the Layout tab, change the printing on the both sides option.

For a portrait-oriented document select Flip on long edge, for a landscape one select Rtrn, then it will be printed as expected.

  • Scanning, flips upside-down page

Tried scanning with manual advance. Whenever I fed the fourth page, it returned upside down. Whenever we scanned, we checked to see that it was right to the top. Finally, tried scanning the page separately, and it overturned. Then, tried to copy and feeding the single page. He knocked down. Then took the copy and it turned upside down, and he's scanned, upside down.

This sounds really like by magic for me, but what do I know?

    Thank you.

  • HP Color LaserJet CP3505 Company Logo print upside down and backwards?

    Hi all

IM currently facing a weird problem where a certain part of the page (the Company Logo) is printing backwards and forth. No changes were made to the system recently.

The printer is a network printer that is installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition.

    Model number J7987E.

Ive tried printing the same page in multiple operating systems, multiple machines, etc. Nothing helps.

Ive also tried to print the exact document to another printer, the printer prints very well.

From what I can tell, the drivers are up-to-date.

Any idea? This printer is used specifically for printing invoices and is rather important.

Update the drivers for PCL5c, PCL6. Our unit was having the same problem. The driver update worked.

  • HP photosmart 7520: 2 Facer print second page prints upside down

The printer did not work properly on Windows 7 I therefore deleted and downloaded the driver on the internet. Now when printing duplex, the first page prints correctly but the page on the back of the first page is upside. Please help me with this.

    Hey @Jo38,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you have some problems with the printing of your Windows 7 PC to your 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

What is happening is there is a duplex option that allows you to alternate between having to return to the page along the long edge or short edge. If you go to where you selected your double-sided printing and change the impression to the other option, the second page will print with the correct orientation.

Please let me know if it solves your problem. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Photosmart 8450: Photosmart 8450 duplex printing upside down with Win 10

    Hello

I checked all the settings, tried to flip short side / long-side, reinstalled the drivers and still it prints on the back backwards! He worked well with Windows 7, but not Windows 10.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

You can try a different driver.  The Deskjet 6840 driver is compatible with the Photosmart 8450 and also provides a number of additional printing options such as resizing and reflection.  To install this driver, follow these steps: go to the folder of devices and printers, right click on the Photosmart 8450, select properties from the printer, advanced, new driver, Next, Windows Update, wait a few minutes for the list to update.  Now, choose HP as manufacturer and select the driver HP Deskjet 6840 (HP), apply.  Then, select the general tab, printing options and set the default values you want, apply, OK.

  • I have an email with images integrated... each of them upside down. with google chrome, I can rotate by opening with a new tab. How to do this in Firefox?

These photos are jpeg-graphics, not sent as room attached but integrated

    Hello

Integrating images you described makes it difficult to turn. The best solution is to have the sender correctly guide them before sending. However, you should have the ability to save images on your computer.

You could try click on images and choose Save the Image under and choose a location on your computer to store files. Once they are saved locally (is more integrated in the email), you should be able to turn as you desire.

Please let us know if that helps.

  • Photosmart 6510 Duplex upside down

When I print on both sides the second page always printed upside down.  How can I fix this?

I have downloaded the driver Windows 7 x 64 HP here and I can confirm that it works correctly for flip on the small side "pages or the definition of 'flick long edges. [edit printed - updated the location of the driver, who now supports Windows 8 as well.]  I tested in 2013 of Word and it printed correctly in duplex mode with "flip pages on the long edge.

What program are you printing from?  I tested with a simple two-page document in Word, "flip on the small side" gave rise to the back backwards and "Flip on long edge" was right.

I had a long history with duplex issues and I'm confident the above driver works...

  • HP color laserjet m451 print 2nd page upside down, why?

I have a HP Color laserjet m451dn which has a capacity of dulpex automatic. I created a two page brochure in Adobe InDesign CS3. In printing the file, it prints the second page upside. I have front and back on or go back upstairs, the 2nd page is upside down. It does this with my pages of graphics program as well. Can print a Web page, document word without problem [with several pages]. Even if I select "print on both sides" and "Finish" even problem.

Can I print one page at a time? I'm sure I can, but could someone give me the correct instructions: what [s] sandbox use: ending of paper and how to I insert in the tray (external or internal) which direction?

Help, please! It makes me CWAYZEE!

    And thanks in advance,

    Ellen,

If your M451 prints both sides correctly using your MS word or other Microsoft applications, your problem is with the printing preferences in the Adobe package you mentioned, and unfortunately, I can't learn where your package preferences is that allows you to print on both sides in a brochure format.  However, I can help you with "manually printing two-sided" (at your request).  After you printed side 1 of your two-sided brochure, place the side face upwards in the feeder - the top of the page printed forward or inward toward the direction of advance.

No thanks no problem [that sounds weird to say; > D].

I found the solution on my own. As I have said, it was only happening with InDesign CS3 and Corel Draw. I don't think it has to do with the programs BUT, Ta Ta! Here is the solution that I found:

    1. open the print dialog box

    2. After you have put [a journal] in the [set #1] outside bar in the print dialog box, select "Paper Source", then in Tray 1 Manual power.

    3. Select 'Finish' and check "Print on both sides", and then print the first side.

    4. a 'message' on the printer control panel will come [heck, I forgot what he said <> but something to the effect that I should continue the process of printing].

It allows to print the first side, then pull the paper back and the second part print correctly! YEEPEEEE!

It worked and if you have a faster procedure, please let me know. Sometimes to find a "work around" and it works, even if it takes more time do you! But if one more easy procedure that is faster and less "hoops" to pass, my boy.  .  .  I'm a game for it!

Is do what ya have to do, but if a faster easier way comes along, PAHLEEZE! Let me know!

    And thanks again,

    Ellen
