Photosmart 6510 Duplex upside down

When I print on both sides the second page always printed upside down.  How can I fix this?

I have downloaded the driver Windows 7 x 64 HP here and I can confirm that it works correctly for flip on the small side "pages or the definition of 'flick long edges. [edit printed - updated the location of the driver, who now supports Windows 8 as well.]  I tested in 2013 of Word and it printed correctly in duplex mode with "flip pages on the long edge.

What program are you printing from?  I tested with a simple two-page document in Word, "flip on the small side" gave rise to the back backwards and "Flip on long edge" was right.

I had a long history with duplex issues and I'm confident the above driver works...

I tried things print double-sided and no matter what I do to change the preferences, the second page is always upside down. Is it possible I can return the last pages 180 degrees? I tried looking for a box that says "page flip up", but I don't think that there is a button for this. I also tried printing the pages on the long side and the short side, but both options print the pages back backwards.

    Hello!

Thanks for getting back to me. Could you try to launch the print and Scan Doctor?

This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

Please send me the results of running the tool. I'm curious to know if there is a problem with the driver.

  • 7210 duplex upside down in Vista

    Hello

I installed the Vista driver on my new laptop for the Officejet 7210, but regardless of the settings, I can not double-sided print with both sides in the same way to the top. So if you turn the page as a book the second page is backwards.

Works well running on the old computer XP.

    Would appreciate any help.

    Best regards

    Chris

You need a patch as described here.  Don't forget to Vista Duplex Officejet 7210 in the subject line to help me find the request and respond in a more timely manner.

  • I have a photosmart hp7510 this prints the second page upside down - mac 10.7.5 duplex.

I have an iMac running 10.7.5. I just purchased and installed a Photosmart 7510 - because the guy at the Apple store said double-sided printing. It's - second side upside down. I downloaded the latest drivers. At least, I think that I did, on the HP site. In the pain of the preference system, I chose "duplex unit". When I print a document in portrait of multi pages I want two-sided, in the printer dialog box I select two gutter on the side face and long. The result is that the second page is upside down. As if I chose binding short side. If I change my binding on the short side, I still get the same results. The second page is upside down. I searched all over the web a solution. I've seen all sorts of 'solutions '. Including the ole standby to print it even turn the pages and printing all odd. I bought this printer, so I didn't have to do. I downloaded a program that everything converted to PDF format and was supposed to solve the problem. Nope.  I can't be the only one with this problem, I can. I never thought that I was unique.

That's all. Confusing since I tried the features "airprint", that's what I chose. Removal of the Photosmart designated airprint and adding Photosmart solved the problem. Thank you.

  • Duplexing on Photosmart 6510

I have a Photosmart 6510 CQ610B and you use Mac OSX Mountain Lion.

When I try to print a PDF file with an odd number of pages in the form of Adobe Reader duplex, it prints the first page on its own and the other pages duplex, instead of printing the last page on its own.  For example a 5 PDF page print page 1 + white, Page 2 + 3, Page 3 + 4.

No matter what settings to choose under order of the pages in the management of the paper for the printer menu, it does the same thing.

    Help!

    Hi mandy4301,

Sounds like it may be a limitation at Adobe. Try printing from another application like word or text edit to see if you encounter the same problem?

  • HP LaserJet P1606dn of duplex professionals second page prints upside down

Sided printing worked fine when I arrived at the printer.  Now second page prints upside down.  I tried to install the driver XPS that worked once, but not now.  I have at least 8 copies of XPS Laserjet P1606dn of professional on my computer.  None of these troubleshooting options on any of these working copies.  I tried to reinstall the software of origin, but in vain.  Now the only copy printer I have that works, one side only, is hp p1606dn copy 3.

    Help, please

Success, finally.  The application of service worked for me, after several tries.  I was able to remove all instances of the printer and re install.  The professional p1606 HP Laserjet still printed upside down, but after having installed the XPS (a previous forum suggestion suggestion) version it worked.

Thank you.  I'll search the app of congratulations and give him a boost upward!

  • Photosmart 6510 does not print in black

My photosmart 6510 does not print in black. I presume that it was the cartridge but I replaced the cartridge and it still does not print. I cleaned the print heads and the cartridge ink levels are full.

The printhead, cleaning of the screen failed touchscreen printer running.  But when I sat down at my computer and used the program utility printing, he did.  I ran an initial print head cleaning my computer and then clicking the button indicating that the print heads were NOT clean.  He then ran a deep cleansing process.  Then I lined up the printheads of the same print utility program.  Now it works!

  • Photosmart 6510: photosmart 6510 prints blank pages

Printer was working fine.  Had to change the cartridge. First of all, I didn't have black and now I don't have much color either.  The printer says I had no real HP though now it shows that I do. I never bought my cartridges anywhere but the staples.  Printing October 2012 have changed many cartridges before you buy.  Followed everything I could find.  Still not printing.

    Hi @mjohns390,

I read your post and see that you can not print in black or color now. I would like to help you today. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "" accept as Solution"" down below this message. If you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

Please, try the following steps to see if it will help solve the problem.

Printer cannot print black ink or color ink or prints blank Pages.

This document is for the cleaning of the cartridge and the contacts, check the tab on the cartridge and the printer reset. "Incompatible cartridge" or "indicated ink cartridge needs to be replaced" message on the c...

If the problem persists, perform a power reset. A alphanumeric Code (example: ' 0 x 'r' C2...) ") displays on the front panel when printing. Do not take into account the title.

This model has a permanent print head, this video shows you how to access the print head, so you can manually clean the printer and soak the printhead, it's my own personal recommendation, not one of HPs, is to use the solution proposed in the following videos.  I suggest only doing this if the printer is out of warranty.

Once you get to the clock at 3:20 minutes, you can stop this video.

Разборка HP Photosmart 6510 (disassembly Photosmart HP 6510)...

This video is for a different model but it will provide the steps to move the print head and cleaning, also if you continue the video it will provide measures to remove the print head and soaking. Play video 01:24 minutes. HP 5510 will not print black and color - print head removed and cleaned.

If you have completed all the above steps and your product still has a problem, service the product.

I hope this helps. Let me know how make you out. Thank you.

  • Photosmart 6510: lines horizontal and top and bottom of page when scanning

    Hello

Scans of the bucket of my Photosmart HP 6510 leave a horizontal line at the top and bottom of the page.

I tried to adjust every page that I scan to align as straight as possible on the glass and this sometimes helps a bit.

I am able to bypass the lines in culture to, but would prefer to find a real solution.

Any help would be appreciated because I don't know a lot about the scanners, thanks!

I wanted to tender hand to respond to your message on the lines that you notice when you scan to scan in your Photosmart 6510 bed. It seems to me that there could be some light enter when performing the analysis, causing lines. If you are only scanning one page at a time, the lines should not appear as they are now.

Here is a troubleshooting guide for you to try. If the lines do not fade, contact HP directly to see about a replacement printer.

  • Photosmart HP 6510: Personalized printing HP Photosmart 6510 problem

I have read through a couple of threads and followed the instructions to turn on 'custom' on my HP Photosmart 6510 all-in-one printing. I loaded the driver of HP Deskjet 450, which finally allows me to select a custom size of 5.5 "x 8.25". I'm trying to print on wedding invitations response cards. Wedding invitations made the same paper 5 X and can be printed without adding a new printer driver for the 6510.

Now that I can get the printer driver (deskjet 450) to recognize the custom format 5.5 "x 8.25" but I can't print. I use a model of design by Staples and get the following errors.

Errors - the margins of Section 1 are set beyond the printable area of the page. Do you want to continue? I pushed Yes and the printer tries to print the job abd I get the error "paper mismatch". The printer actually determined the size of the paper when I adjusted the paper tray to accommodate custom size paper.

Troubleshooting - I tried to adjust the margins, but I have little ability to adjust in the template provided. When I adjusted the margins, I always get the error "paper mismatch".

Any ideas on how to do more troubleshooting?

  • Double-sided print second page upside down HP6700

When I print 2 Facer, the second page is upside down. I looked for solutions on this forum and on the net, but nothing helped. I have installed new drivers, checked all the available boxes. The one I need ('turn page' or something like that) is not found.

I have a new HP6700, to replace an old HP6700 which made duplex very well, but became old. Why is it suddenly so hard to make something of my old printer without problems?

I use a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9 laptop.

I hope someone can help me.

    Hello Cheetah12,

Thanks for your reply. In the meantime I discovered that the most important step is NOT to install the printer via AirPrint, but using HP6700. Only, then you have the possibility to click on the duplex option and install the printer with the 4.1.2 pilot.

The solution mentioned by Roger2499 in the following thread has helped me tremendously, after a day of frustration!

  • HP Scan does not work on Photosmart 6510

HP Scan does not work with Photosmart 6510 wireless installation. I've deleted and reinstalled SW, SW, ran update doctor Scan and everything was reported OK. When I ran the scan test of the HP scan window comes but there is no value in the resolution box. When an analysis is attempted, I get ERROR SCAN only. I can scan successfully by other scanning programs.

Paul sent me the log files, and from there, we followed the question until for the binary file HPScan.exe incorrect compatibility settings.   This file is located either in your "program files (x 86) \hp\\bin" directory (for 64-bit systems), or "program files\hp\\bin" directory for 32-bit systems.   In the case of Paul, his EXE was created to ensure compatibility for XP, which caused the application to try to use WIA 1.0 on a 2.0 WIA (Windows 7) system support.    This caused the app to not to interview the drivers for supported resolutions/etc and so the drop-down list is empty in the implementation of the resolutions.

If other people see empty resolution lists in our application, it might be useful to double check that your EXE is not set to XP compatibility.

    Thank you

    Jeremy

  • Printer e-all-in-one PHOTOSMART 6510. Windows 7 64-bit.

Printer will not the photo tray pick up. Print screen set at 4 x 6.

    Hi bpond321,

What application program you are trying to print photos from?

Follow the steps below in your printing application

    1. click on file in the upper left corner of the application (step 1)

    2. click on print (step 2)

    3. ensure that the Photosmart 6510 is the selected printer and click on Preferences (step 3)

    4. click on the drop down menu arrow on the paper size to select 4 x 6. This should change the paper Source for the Photo tray. If it does not change, you will need to select the Photo tray. (Step 4).

    5. click OK in the screen printing Preferences and then click on print in the screenshot.

Let me know if this helps solve the problem?

  • Print two-sided upside down (wrong way upwards)?

OfficeJet Pro 8500 has / Windows Vista on a laptop

I don't know that it is really easy to solve.

Did a search for printing double-sided and back printing backwards and do not see a solution.

I print duplex both sides of a piece of paper, but the reverse is the wrong way to the top (upside down), so what is the configuration in printing preferences to get back to print in the same direction as the front.

    Hello

Protrait print function or landscape, under properties (or similar depending on the application), select back on the edges, short or long should solve the problem.

    Kind regards.
