Background grid appearing on an Adobe PDF Word.doc file...?

Created a MS Word document on my iMac and registered as a PDFile using Adobe Acrobat in a few months.

The PDF version has inaugurated this morning and each page was covered with a gray checkerboard that I was unable to get rid of - suggestions/ideas as to what caused this problem and how to eliminate this model of each page...?

Thanks for any help.  CFA-341

Go to the Edit menu (maybe the menu on a Mac Acrobat) - preferences - display of the Page and check "see the transparency grid."

Is there any software by which I can convert my scanned images (text) to the ms word doc (.doc) file?

    Hello

Some scanners have the ability to convert the image to text, check your scanner manual for the exact procedure. You can also use your search engine preferred for a tool to convert.

  • Lo-res images appear in the exported PDF from Indesign files - anyone else having this problem?

I used Indesign for years without this problem...

But I noticed recently that many of these images (PSD, TIFF, or JPEG) that I placed in Indesign files are exported as pixelated, versions low resolution when I export for printing (PDF/X-1).

I tried different settings, but in each case, the image (which appears thin and sharp as seen in Indesign) came out like a pixelated mess blurred.

This seems to have started happening in the past months.

    Vector graphics are fine.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Or someone at - it a solution?

Also use some PDF parameters where resolution is not sous-echantillonnees at all.

    Turn off downsampling.

And I would like to test, when you export to PDF/X-4 would make to the resolution of the images.

Just to know, if something is fundamentally wrong with your PDF export feature perhaps.

  • change a pdf to word doc file

How can I change a PDF to a word document

You can import into WORD 2013 or record from AA to DOC. The quality of the result varies with the version. From what I've seen AAXI conversion is far better than that in 2013 of WORD.

    Hi bk81223519,

Have you tried to convert some other PDF to word and then checked.

Are you running the latest patch for Acrobat XI or 11.0.10?

Please choose the option "Check for Updates" in the Help menu.

You could try to choose "Repair the Installation of Acrobat" in the Help menu of Acrobat and check.

  • Corruption of Word (.doc) file extension

Hi, I have windows XP 2002 service pack 3.  Recently, all my files from document word adds the extension is .doc now when I try to rename a file, I get a message warning me that if I change an extension of file name of the file may become unusable.  What's happened and how can I get my old functionality back?  Thank you

Chances are that the ".doc" extension was still there, but you don't see it.
Try the following to hide the extension:

    • Double-click any file to open it
    • Select Tools-> Folder Options
    • Click on the "View" tab
    • Make sure that the line marked "Hide extensions of known file types" has a control to the front of it
    • If not, then check it in.
    • "OK" your way out.

  • I tried to open a Word doc attachment in my email and get a window stating "Creating an Adobe PDF file"

When I try to open an attachment in my email Word doc I get a dialog box saying "Create Adobe PDF, PDFMaker missing files, you want to run the installer in repair mode?"   I tried not to convert a word in a PDF doc daughter.  I just tried to open the word document.  The next window that appears is the Adobe Acrobat window.  If I want to open a word doc file that I received in my email I first have to register the word doc on my desk open my program Word, then drag the Word doc recorded from my office to the document that is open in Word. program.  It started just in the last few months.  Never happened before.  What is happening here?

Apparently, you tried to open a DOC file to PDF quite awhile, and your system is confused. In any case, go to a DOC or DOCX file (or both) in the Windows Explorer and right click. Select open with and select WORD - always check open with button.

Check that the other WORD documents open correctly from the Explorer. Try again your e-mail address. If e-mail is not fixed, then look in the list of applications in your email inbox (some do) and fix the problem here. It might also be useful by turning on the display of extensions in Explorer, so you can see that a file is in fact a word with the appropriate extension. (just try to cover as many opportunities as possible now).
