  I am a new owner of blackberry curve 8330, and I'm still trying to get all the options work correctly.  A small problem I have is that my background image changes to the original image, the phone came with once I plug it to the blackberry manager to synchronize.  I guess that there is a setting I'm missing.  Can anyone help?

  If your Illustrator illustration is vector of 100% and contains no live effects, complex gradients, blends, etc., the first thing to try is copy > paste special > enhanced metafile.

  Otherwise, SPE may work, or you can use the pixelation in PNG. Personally, I do not consider export raster format Illustrator to be a stable workflow method, so I'd be inclined to use Photoshop as an intermediate step: Illustrator > Save As PDF > open in Photoshop > save in PNG. Just my preference.

  I guess this feature without doubt not will be part of Lightroom because of the non-destructive nature publishing. Is that programs like Photoshop are for. But I don't speak for Adobe, because I do not work for them, and I did not all understand what are their plans for the future.

  For a project I'm working on, I need to be able to change the color of the objects individually. A person moves into the shot, and I wish that some objects in the street to change color as it passes through them. I tried various tools that alter only one color overall shot of another color, but that work here. I'm trying to change the color of individual objects at times keys in the shot.

  I could easily do it with Photoshop, but it takes a long time and I'm sure that Premiere Pro or After Effects to do this much faster.

  The best thing to do would be to use the new masking effect and follow-up in 14 CC and the feature that allows you to apply an effect to an area of masking. The other option would be to duplicate the layer of film in order to have a copy for each element you want to change, roto individual items and then apply color effects to each of the duplicates. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then search Rotobrush and study up. If you have 14 CC then watch this tutorial by my friend Stu Maschwitz. It uses Colorista and Magic Bullet Looks, but the technique would do exactly what you want to do using other color effects.

  Try this:

  1. Duplicate the background layer, close the visibility of the background layer by clicking the "eye" in the layers palette, and then work on the background layer copy
  2. Access to the magic wand tool. On the tool options bar, see contiguous, click a white area, press DELETE on the keyboard. Repeat in other areas. You may need to play with the settings of tolerance to things.

• How can you make a background image change to a State faded at some point in scrolling?

  I am referring to a technique that I have seen used in the relevant Magazine iPad app if someone used it. I understand having a shape behind text that presents a gradient feathers and when you scroll down the form vanishes little by little the background image. But this is not the effect I'm trying to achieve. On some articles, the screen is a complete image and when you scroll type to the top, the bottom everything fades away when you scroll up to a point.

  I tried to search for hours, but I feel that I don't get the case because I don't really know what to look for. I feel like it requires something else than DPS is capable of. I hope this makes sense and I would be very happy to suggestions and help!

  You can try to remove the background image on the Flash file, and then will the WMODE = transparent route.

• Change of color of the page in a tab control programmatically

  AFAIK, you can manually change the colors of the individual pages in a tab control (if you have the property allow several colors set to True), but you can't do it programmatically.

  For my particular application, there is only a single page color, I need to change, so I can get the effect by setting the colors I want manually and activating / deactivating allow multiple colors on the control tab as needed, but I wonder if there is a better solution out there.
