  I've had problems with HP for over 2 years now. The first laptop, they have replaced and gave me a 8570p Elitebook that they new was not good and gave to a member of the family of the same model. I told her no but my family members had problems and did not have all of the warranty and they gave him a new one as a replacement for 8770w. I continued to try to work with tech and they will call him each week saying that they have an appointment and no one does or call. Mind you, this has happened since December 2012 and it is the end of February 2014 and my pc has not yet been set. I work from my pc as a business and may not have that going. Then they tell me that we cannot replace because it was given to you in 2011 and I have documentation I received in 2012 at HP and they don't judge. They say it's still too old. It's not my fault for your product. I was treated very brutally and been put on hold and they are standing by their product. I'm not recommending them or buy from them. They have these foreign people who do not in any ways whatsoever and they call it management and customer service. HP is not going to pay my salary is their pc as a last shutsdown I did. If you can replace it for one person, then you must replace for all.

• NSA 2400 bandwidth management

  We are currently using bandwidth management and we have a few rules for BWM.  Just, we have improved our pipe.  My question is can I go to the WAN interface and change the input/output of the new limit and the rules I have (most are one percent) will be adjusted accordingly?  Also is there any failure by changing the entry/exit?

  If your rules are percentage then adjusting interface WAN is all that should be necessary. It will not have any what failures nor does not require a reboot.

• Problems of band bandwidth WRT120N and torrent

  Hey guys,.

  I have a small problem and maybe you can help:

  Tested to speedtouch.net my router shows a great download and upload rate (no difference between a direct connection and reouter). The problem is when I try to download something using a torrent client:

  Without the router, I get more than 10 MB/s in a torrent download

  With the router installed, I am max 2, 5 MB/s when you are downloading the same torrent

  It's like he is to limit my download speed when it comes to torrents. I tried the static IP port and forwarding but it made things worse, of 2, 5 MB/s speed drops to 1, 8 MB/s.

  If you have any ideas, or met the same problem that I did and managed to make it work please let me know how you did it.

  UPDATE: for all those like me who want to know what's happening, here it is: these routers have limited firmware (2-3 MB / s 6-8MB / s and wireless LAN).

  There is nothing you can do to make better it (no parameters, no tweaking of any kind). They are built like that for stability, or what they say. Only the WRT54GL model and beyond to allow you to put a firmware open source which allows you to increase the speed a little.

  PS Don't worry your router isn't broken, no mather what linksys support guys, this is the only firmware limited bandwidth (all routers and their original firmware this limitation) and they will never tell you that they will propose to replace it and get a new one instead.

  I tried to BootP and disable ipv6 on a printer and at first, it worked (finally).  But then, after having unplugged and restarted, he returned to the ip address of connection no.

  What you do to make the submenu invisible?  If you set its visible property to false it does not interact with the mouse, but if you change its property alpha to 0, it will react.

• I need help, bandwidth management

  To our offices there are two that IT guys me and Jay. I use a desktop PC and Jay use a laptop. We have a T3 line connected to a Linksys WRV210, which is updated to the latest firmware and a small staff with about 8 total workstations. I started noticing that I had problems downloading files from the internet. It would take sometimes 30 minutes to download a driver of 5 MB file. Come back after lunch that the same file would download in 3 minutes. Also during certain times of the day, I could do a bandwidth test and it can appear at the top and then later it would be slower than dial-up.

  A common event, that I started collecting was the absence of Jay. When he would leave the office (and usually take his laptop with him). The internet was very good. However, almost immediately after his internet return would come to a crawl. I asked him if he downloads nothing thinking maybe that was the issue. Of course, he said that it was not and that the internet was going well on his computer.

  Then one day when I walked by his Office I saw Limewire on his computer (a file sharing program). I'm sure that now that it's the source of our problem of bandwidth. I want to be able to block or to allocate at least how much bandwidth gets used for things such as file-sharing programs. The hardest part is we are not a matter of level business and therefore cannot afford to devices which cost thousands of dollars. Add in the fact that file-sharing programs are known to be difficult to manage without talking to stop. Can someone please recommend a way to control or prevent Jay kill our bandwidth? Keep in mind that it is not the average user and is a very clever technique. I wish I had a way to slow down its file-sharing rather than blocking all together, but if this is the best option, so that's ok also.

  If the wireless network adapter is installed correctly activate the card with the WLAN switch and then use the FN + F8 key combination and make sure card is set on IT.

  My own different models of knowledge supports different hardware specifications. You can buy models of laptops with Harman-Kardon speakers that offer the best sound quality. This device seems to support standard speakers.
  So it s always a question of value for money and in my opinion it is not too bad.
