background image defined in PopUpScreen

Hi guys,.

is there a way to set the background picture to PopUpScreen?

I had tried to do it like this:

SerializableAttribute public class AddContactDialog extends PopupScreen

protected void paint (final Graphics graphics)
EncodedImage ei = EncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource (AppSettings.AddContactAlertView);
Image im = Image.createImage (ei.getData (), 0, ei.getLength ());
graphics.drawImage (im, 0, 0, 0);
}

OK, sorry I didn't say it but import of java

Import javax.microedition.lcdui.Graphics;
Import javax.microedition.lcdui.Image;

packages which I didn't notice and who is right for which I have not seen graphics.drawbitmap, instead it shows microedition chart fuctions.

However, I found an interesting link here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Popup-Screen-cannot-display-a-picture/td-p/...

  • does ne1 now the html code to define a background image = no repetition, a Center for dreamweaver or where?

    Im trying to set up a about me page such as myspace.com, I know in myspace you can set the center of the image background not repeat is possible in the testament with dreamweaver?

    Hello

    Yes, it can be done using CSS.

    You can place it in your code, just before.
    Just replace your image for mypicture.jpg.

    -OR-

    Alternatively, you can do so using DW (as an Assistant) dialog boxes.
    If you have DW8 or CS3... or MX2004, if my memory serves, you can right click on
    your page in design view.
    Select CSS Styles > new
    A CSS Rule dialog box opens.
    Select the tag, and then in the label box, type of body.
    You can choose if you want to add the CSS on this page (as the code
    above) or a style sheet linked to the page. If you want to use the CSS
    on several pages, it's a good idea to use a style sheet. Then you can do
    changes in a place that affects all pages linked to that style sheet.
    When you click OK, a new box will open where you can set your CSS.
    Select "bottom" of the sidebar and fill in the areas is free enough
    statement of reasons.

    I hope this helps.

    Take care

  • Background image of display and scrolling VFM

    Right now, I'm stuck trying to give the desired result work on my screen. I already know the basics of adding a background to a Manager (value bit flags USE_ALL_WIDTH and USE_ALL_HEIGHT so that paint void). However, I must also deal with a child growable VFM attached to the screen can scroll if the height is greater than the height the screen less the height of the top banner field. What I want to achieve is the following: having a screen that does not scroll with a background image that is attached to the dimensions of the screen less field height of the banner (first low-level with the BG Manager). However, I want the VFM child to be able to scroll if necessary while the BG image is displayed in the background. Here's what I have so far to my constructor:

    public MyMainScreen(){
       super( NO_VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR );
       VerticalFieldManager myVFM = new VerticalFieldManager(
                                    VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_WIDTH
                    | VerticalFieldManager.NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLL
                    | VerticalFieldManager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR
                    | VerticalFieldManager.FIELD_TOP
                    | VerticalFieldManager.TOPMOST
                    | VerticalFieldManager.BOTTOMMOST );
       setBanner(myBannerField);
       //fields are added to VFM.....

       VerticalFieldManager bgManager = new VerticalFieldManager(
                                    VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_WIDTH
                                    | VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_HEIGHT
                                    | VerticalFieldManager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL){
               public void paint(Graphics g){
                  //my BG gets drawn here...
                  super.paint(g);
               }
       };
       bgManager.add(myVFM);
       add(bgManager);
    }

    So, I just need to know if I'm doing something wrong here. Of course, it may be obvious to some, but for some reason that I'm completely stumped. Thanks in advance.

    Tried again without the substitution of sublayout, and he managed to work given my VFM populating routines, because the domain in question (HFM) that is updated is added without all the fields added initially, so my VFM has all the fields, it needs at that point to have himself. You're right, if I wanted to complex me and choose to place the fields of optimization of resources on particular points, it would be wise to replace sublayout and define to what extent, accordingly, but in this case, it works fine without it. Anyway, the people, the answer today is that your screen does not scroll by setting super (NO_VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR |) NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL) in the constructor, however, if you want the custom vertical scrolling on your VOR with BG, you must set to vertically, do scroll down and use the height by passing the following style bits:

    VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_WIDTH
    | VerticalFieldManager.NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLL
    | VerticalFieldManager.VERTICAL_SCROLL
    | VerticalFieldManager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR
    | VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_HEIGHT

    then you replace paintBackground appeal of this optimization of the resources any desired call paint and that's it.

  • Background images for differnet resolutions

    Hello

    Is there a way to define a single resource (background image) via styles or any other approach that will have definition for all taken screen resolutions supported (BB10 has 3 resolutions defined with portrait/landscape modes = 5 bitmaps)?

    So, I can use this asset without success all the stuff in a code trying to find what the resolution is now and where - and then only - get a correct picture of the assets.

    There are a lot of messages in this forum, but none seems to describe exactly the same problem.

    Thank you

    If you talk to a background image for the application, you have to manage yourself. If you are talking about the splash screen, then you would list each boot image in the XML file.

    You can resize the image to fit the scene, then you might have a rectangular and square and then resized image depending on the scene according to the needs. If you don't want to resize, then you need an image for each resolution device and a naming convention, you could load dynamically depending on the size of the stage (bg_720_720.jpg, etc.).

    CSS may be able to help, since you can load different CSS at startup, but this would require still allows you to define a CSS for each change that you want to support. CSS will be more important when BB10 is available on the PlayBook, since the density of the screen is very different.

    Does that help?

  • set a background image for a text box or label?

    Hey gang,

    I would like to put a background image for a text box or label.

    is there a way to do this?

    also if I put the bottom level of the container root and do the rest orders slightly transparent (opacity: 0.8 or something), the background appear through?

    Thank you

    J

    for your text box, define backgroundVisible: false & and/or upgrade the opacity to the low enough that you can see through it and place your background image behind the text box. (I belive opacity changes will affect the text as well).

    for labels, I used the method of the container as you described.

  • Inline-fx-background-image style does not work in fxml

    Hello

    I encountered a problem on this topic. Background image could not be shown when using inline style. However, using the external style sheet file is fine.

    Could someone help me understand? The date.png file is stored in the current package with the .fxml file that contains snippets of code below.

    I also found when I put a .fxml file in < fx: include... / >, loses its external style sheet. I didn't think to it for several days.

    Thank you for helping me.

    <HBox prefHeight="26.0" prefWidth="1024.0" style="-fx-background-image:url('date.png');" xmlns:fx="http://javafx.com/fxml/1" xmlns="http://javafx.com/javafx/2.2">
    </HBox>

    The element in Bottom.fxml (which is the element root fxml file) and the element of Main.fxml refer to the same actual object. If you don't want to specify an id for both attribute, as would call you setId (...) twice on the same object. It is unclear who controls these calls happen, is not clear (or even properly defined) what id of the object would have.

    In general, l is actually allowed to have the attribute fx:id for both, but not if you rely on it to set the css for you, id which you seem to be in this case.

    So, first of all, do not rely on fx:id = «...» "to set the css id. Use id = "..." "on all the nodes that you want to set a css id on. Do not use fx:id = «...» "unless you want to refer to these nodes in the controller (and in this case to use both).

    Second, either the value id = «...» "on the part of Bottom.fxml, or the value id = «...» "on the element in Main.fxml, but not do both. This will determine the css for the included HBox id. Then just use this id in your css file.

    So, if I use or in Bottom.fxml, the only way to properly display css is to remove both fx:id and id of Main.fxml?

    If you use (and no id = "... ") or in Bottom.fxml, * and * you use, say, (with no id ="... ") or to Main.fxml, so what's the css of the HBox id? Is 'BottomHBox' or 'low '? (I'm guessing 'down', but it's a blind guess.)

    In both cases, the css selector

    #bottom #BottomHBox

    certainly does not match anything. You don't have any node with id = "BottomHBox" which is the descendant of a node with id = 'bottom', which is what will match this selector.

  • Background image and transparant

    Hello

    I have the following problem:

    I have a Word document that contains a .jpg image.

    For this image, the white background is defined as 'transparent color' (in Word).

    After printing the Word using "Adobe pdf" document as printer, I want to add a background in Adobe Acrobat format.

    However, the background is interrupted when the image is (rectangular).

    This was not the case with a previous version of Acrobat!

    Could someone please help me?

    Thank you!

    LVL

    Do not use the Adobe PDF printer. Use the Acrobat feature added to Word, which is supposed to make additional levees needed to do this job. However, you may need to use a format that supports transparency as PNG.

  • Background image shows do not list items

    I have custom bullets defined for bulleted lists, and they show in Design view of Dreamweaver, but disappear in mode live view and any browser.

    http://www.aptcoweb.com/dev/VIP/index2.htm

    What Miss me?

    In fact, this display: block doesn't is not hoisted here using fluid grids AFAIK. In fact, the problem is the way in which you assign this image of the ball-

    list-style-image: url(/dev/vip/assets/paw_bullet.gif);

    Instead, use-

    background-image:URL(/dev/VIP/assets/paw_bullet.gif);

    background-repeat: repeat no.;

    padding-left: 24 PX.

    and leave the rest alone, even though I agree with Osgood the faceplate is also not necessary. The list-style-image has always been unpredictable for me.

  • Anything background image of slide miss aligned. How to fix?

    Hello

    If anyone can help with the placement of background images? My background images display perfectly in my master slides. In the film display, however and in the published project they are pushed down by around 8 to 10 pixels from the top margin.

    FYI: I have engaged in an activity of re-scale on this project, choosing to "Reframe" the blades to size. I've cropped margin DOWN however, so it would not entirely explain this behavior. I feel like there is a conflict somewhere with the old project height but I checked every single possible location. The right height (new) appears under the project Info, edition and scale of windows.

    I tried:

    • Clear my cache of project several times above, both the Captivate and manually via Explorer.
    • Adding white space from 8 to 10 pixels to the bottom of the background image to push upward, but that just having fun it. It is not lift vertically.
    • By clicking on the 'Reset slide' button of the page. No change.
    • Manually set the background image for each individual slide to the background image properly size instead of using the master-blade set background image. No change (there is always a gap).
    • Manually setting a SINGLE image to the background image for each individual slide rather than using the defined master slide background image. No change (there is always a gap).
    • Recreating EVERY single blade from a new model of slides with the slide model correctly positioned. They display properly at first, but after have closed and reopened the project they have repositioned again and are aligned to miss.
    • Save the project from Captivate 7 to 8 Captivate and publishing/check all the options in question. I was hoping that if it was a small bug in Captivate 7, it could be deleted... no luck.

    The really annoying is when I open the project as background images is displayed correctly. It's only when I start to edit the slides and/or publish the project that they will all miss-aligned.

    Any ideas on where to find a cache I may have missed or why this might be happening would be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Could be a kind of corruption of project file / glitch.

    Have you tried to copy all the slides in a new shell of empty project of the same size?  Sometimes, which solves similar problems.

  • Background image in the header missing

    Can help you people? Our background image in the header (top dark blue strip) has disappeared from all our pages with the exception of the index page (which uses a blue picture dark with a white stripe at the bottom.

  • How to set a background image re-scalable depending on the screen resolution of viewers

    Hello

    I searched the net for ages looking for a way to make a background image on the scale according to the size of a monitor of viewers.

    I found a solution:

    Source code

    < body >

    "< img src ="... /... ' / Images/Connor/background_bg.png ' class = 'bg' >

    < / body >

    CSS (style)

    {img.BG}

    / * Define the rules to fill the background * /.

    min-height: 100%;

    min-width: 1024px;

    / * Set up a proportional scaling * /.

    Width: 100%;

    height: auto;

    / * Set up positioning * /.

    position: fixed;

    top: 0;

    left: 0;

    }

    @media screen and (max-width: 1024px) {}

    {img.BG}

    left: 50%;

    left margin:-512px. }

    }

    Now, this has the desired effect, however when I place a div below "< img src ="... /... "' / Images/Connor/background_bg.png ' class = 'bg' > ' in the body of my site, it pushes this div below my bottom.

    I got the code from " " http://CSS-tricks.com/perfect-full-page-background-image/ "and it does not seem to do this in this example. "

    I pasted my complete code below, if someone could have a look and advise where I'm wrong that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks and greetings

    Elliot
