    Hello

    Yes, you can do it if you know the width of the page, for example if you have a width of 1000px page you would use-

    background-position: top 970px;

    or you can use a value of % if your page is a fluid design

    background-position: top of 90%;

  • Positioning a background image?

    I have a fixed-size image (498 x 94, in this case, but can be different) and that as the background.

    However, the image should not be stretched or repeated, but drawn in the lower right corner.

    Using a container with bottom set to a ImagePaint seems to be the usual way, but the periodicity only allows to stretch or tile, not use unmodified, see https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__cascades__repeatpattern.html#enum-xy

    How can I place an image stretched, incomparable to a certain spot as a background?

    You can use a DockLayout and draw this item in the lower left corner. No need to set it as a background image.

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Cascades/reference/bb__cascades__docklayout.html

    With docklayout, it is possible to draw elements on top of eachother. So what you're looking for.

    Or create a new image (1280 x 768) and put the image in the lower left corner. And then just use it as a background image?

  • I can move the position of the pixel-values (browser-filling) background image?

    I want to design a landing with Muse page. To insert a background image that fills the screen on the top and to the left and right of the browser window edges, I think the best way is to put a picture as the fill "browser" (I this translated from the German term 'Navig-deflectors', then choose suitable size ('scale Passend").

    Unfortunately, if I'm having a menu bar on top of this image, it will always hide the upper part of the image. Can I therefore change the background a little image?

    There may be several ways to achieve this goal within the Muse.

    -Use composition to create the menu, where the menu will only appear on mouse click or hover.

    -Use any image editor and add a rectangle empty start of image where menu will be rendered.

    -Apply the scroll on the Menu so that the menu only to scroll page should appear on the page.

    -Make the homepage with only the picture fill and the link to get inside the site with sub-pages, which should include a menu.

    APDivs (formerly known as layers) are NOT the best approach for this.  Here's why:

    http://apptools.com/examples/pagelayout101.php

    (1) find a good, shaping CSS to get started with.

    http://ALT-Web.com/templates/basic-1-Col-fixed.html

    (2) a text on a complex background image alignment is futile.  It is a concept of impression that Won't hold up on web pages because you can't control the browser settings, the screen or the text sizes.

    (3) height is a restriction in all browsers except IE.  Don't use values of height on containers with text inside them because this will inevitably cause failures when the text size is increased or amount of content exceeds the available space.

    (4) if necessary to show a background image, use the min-height CSS property.

  • Set the background image of a cluster? [LV 2013]

    Hello-

    Researcher, said, "why don" t you turn the image on the front panel and then decorate the image with the controls? See? Problem solved. "And the door closes.

    So, I take the picture, scaling properly and voila! It is now the background image.  Then add controls.

    The horizontal and vertical scroll bars to move controls... but the background image is not followed.  So if someone touches the scroll bars (they are required) then controls and image are aligned.  Worse yet, their modified track manually is a pain in the eye-hand control.

    I could put in a button titled "realign" and have it reset the position of the scroll bar. Or have the scrolling screen VI bar position (look at the FP zero spot) and some treatment to shift the image of the picture.  What is its painful.  Is there another way around the problem?

    HM. A cluster? Clusters follow the scroll bars. But I can't seem to put a background image a cluster. The background color can be changed... but I don't see a way to paste a picture.  I tried customizing the cluster control and attempted to use the same method to add an image as on the front panel (with the right button of the scroll bar, follow the instructions). This has changed the background of the typedef would control.  Saved.  Tried to use it. LabVIEW will > BEEP<  and="" nothing="">

    I really want to avoid building this complex picture of decorations.  Especially when the image has chemical compounds in the boxes: how to index and the letters and numbers?   That... and the image is one of these steps 'it's refinement... ».

    Thank you for your time.

    Mark

    You don't give enough information on how this actually looks like and I don't have any experience with background images, but I would simply say, you drag the image file in the public Service and use the command menu in the toolbar to move backward (Ctrl + Shift + J) and then it must maintain position relative to other objects. You can then use the same menu to lock, so that it is not moved accidentally. You can also place an image control in the back and load the image in the code if it changes a lot, but this isn't a recipe for positioning the elements properly.

    I also generally agree with Martins that scrolling is a flag. If you need to scroll, you look and see if there is a problem and other solutions.

  • My office shows only a partial Background Image every time

    For about 1 week, my office no longer displays the full background image.  Whatever the base image that I chose, that is my personal image or one of the options listed, when it displays on my desk he chops off the coast of the part of the background.  I already went to properties, Desktop and tried different "positions" (alias tile, Center and stretch).  The problem persists.  The only recent change that could possibly explain what I was doing last week online search and my computer started acting weird after that I clicked on one of the sites.  I had to force it to close and when it restarted, my Active Desktop had been turned off (I guess that as a protection).  But since then, I was able to reboot and restore my desktop computer 'active'.  So I do not understand why there is still a prob.  Thanks in advance or any help you have to offer.  :)

  • Background image disappears when the user scroll down

    Hello

    Here is a class that paints a picture as desktop wallpaper. My problem is that if a vertical scrolling is on the screen, when scrolling down the background image does not scroll also. Is it possible to repeat the background so that it is always on the screen when the user scrolls down.

    The values highlighted are wrong - you need to keep track of the Manager scroll position. In addition, using Display.getWidth () and Display.getHeight () isn't exactly smart - use getWidth() / getHeight() Manager itself.

    In short, the correct code would be:

        public void paintBackground( Graphics graphics)
        {
            graphics.drawBitmap(getHorizontalScroll(), getVerticalScroll(), getWidth(), getHeight(), Constants.BACKGROUND_IMAGE, 0, 0);
        }

  • Faced with centered Background Image

    I have the code that I found always give me a background focused on a screen image.  It is based on the ideas presented here:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/MainScreen-explained/Ta-p/606644

    However, the code does not, at least not for me.

    I tried other variations as well, as the addition of another not VFM of scrolling, then adding data scrolling to the optimization of resources, but even this indirection suffers from the same problem.  Have two screenshots to show, the 'exclamation' should be at the centre according to me!

    Code follows.

    To illustrate the problem, just space out the field change with "entry" for more complete screen.  Then the same thing to one below the Bitmap and then scroll and down using the trackpad.  I suspect that you will see the problem.

    I saw this on OS 6.0 and 7.0 OS simulators.  Not tested on OS 5.0 and tested only on touchscreen devices.  I'll do some more tests later.

    Someone at - it suggestions on the subject of how we get the "centered" background Bitmap actually stay in the Center will still let me add lines to my editfields and scroll using the trackpad?

    Ahh, touch screens...

    I remember I had to invalidate the Manager paint extra stuff (vertical scroll bar in my case) in scrollChanged() specifically for touchscreen devices. So one thing to try is to implement ScrollChangeListener in your main screen or your added VFM and invalidate the VFM in scrollChanged. This should fix the problem, even if it will be a drop in performance.

    I suspect that the touchscreen devices have certain graphic hardware acceleration, which makes them more effective when scrolling but it lacks what BlackBerry stuff framework is not aware (for example your paintBackground according to the positions of scrolling).

    I'm curious to know what happens if you use setBackground on a scroll, no Manager and add the scroll with no bottom paint on top of it. setBackground, being a built-in could make better use of their hardware acceleration.

    Hi Heather,

    Do you use a Hewlett Packard? If so, the solution below works 99% of the time.

    • Step by step:

    1. go to http://www.hp.com/#Support

    2 Select software button step 1 and download drivers
    3. under Step 2, enter your product name (e.g. pavilion 2022... be very careful because the I don't know the precise model is important.)
    4. click on the link corresponding to your model of PC
    5. choose the Windows 7 operating system (assume that you will be 32-bit)
    6 scroll the list Select software and drivers and choose Activator position photo Wallpaper

    Can I get a positive confirmation that the SIP 7841 landline does not support custom background images?  I've seen on google images that seem to show a 78xx research phone with a screen saver snoopy or similar image and this lead me to believe that this phone could have a custom background or a picture of timeout/screensaver.

  • Center the div in parent div Background Image and not the whole page

    I am trying to Center a background image, I have inserted as create a div via the new css rule and will have questions centering correctly on the page. I would it is centered at the top of the page contet - left area of the page content, and it seems that the background image is ignorant parent his div and is centering the page-level. It's a problem because its parent div that 2/3 of the page, therefore covers, in question background image is cropped.

    I did a video showing the problem here, because I'm not sure I use the right words to describe the problem

    Dreamweaver Background Image needs centered at the top of the page content DIV - YouTube

    In other words, I insert a div tag and add a background image so that I can place the content above it, however, the background image seems to be centered in the entire page and not simply within the Division 'parent' in design mode, everything is centered, however, in direct mode, the background image is offset. I can't really explain for good so I made another video.

    Still another problem as can be seen in the video but not prime, since it still works live, is:

    In addition, my navigation bar is direct, but in design mode, it appears at the bottom of the screen. I did fix the position, then he stuck on the right side, so I added a margin of 700px to go right once again, I guess that the problem is due to this.

    I have boldened which, in my view, are source code target areas and css to quickly reduce down, but everything included because I am not knowledgeable enough to know what is relevant or not, I could (and likely) wrong.

    Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
