  Hello. I have a slate 7HD for when out and about, that I'm unable to write by hand. I'm really happy with it and use a background application to solid without any problem. However, my mother and I got ourselves a 10HD slate this week and get a boring shade on each side of the background / wallpaper. This does not happen if you use a photo background, which is not what I want to do.

  If you please check the two registry location and check the location of the paper painted.  Please do not delete anything immediately.  Please report to me informing me of what you have seen.

  The system records the usual background screen background image in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\Wallpaper registry key. If you have enabled Active Desktop and chose a different background image, such as JPEG, the system stores this wallpaper in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER Explorer\Desktop\General\Wallpaper registry key.

  As with a standard wallpaper, with the Active Desktop wallpaper, you can tile the wallpaper using the TileWallpaper 1 value, and you can focus or stretch the wallpaper by setting the WallpaperStyle. A value of 0 centers wallpaper; a value of 2 it extends. In the first connection, the system displays the standard wallpaper until all the boot process and the Active Desktop is enabled.

  I think the above sentence on described all this. Essentially, FF flickers power on and off when I scroll. I tried the mode of sure start with addons disabled, reset and I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have a Windows 7 operating system and that I just installed a new hard drive. This problem started with the new hard drive.

  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
  • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

• Stream 13: Black as screen wallpaper on desktop

  I've owned my HP 13 Stream for over a year now, but since I have opened in the area of and and tried to change my wallpaper to the default values, there simply, solid black. All I want to do is put a wallpaper that I might enjoy is not just this dull Uni background or one of those who came prepackaged with the netbook.

  Any help would be appreciated as possible solutions, I tried did not help. I follow my OS updated and I am careful with what I do online, in addition to cleaning regularly and checking viruses and malware.

  My screen looks like in below, although I edited on my shortcuts because they are all personal files (and trash).

  First of all, try to review the following information and let me know how it goes:

  Open Control Panel and select "Ease of access" Center. Then, click on the link "Optimize Visual display". Scroll down until you find "Make the computer easier to see" section. Once found, make sure that remove background images (if any) is not checked. Save, apply, exit.

  With Windows XP, we could use a GIF with transparent background as wallpaper (desktop background image), which then allowed the screen background color show through and around the image.

  Attempt to use this image as a background image of Windows 7 the transparent background of the watch just screen image as white.

  Is it possible that Windows 7 supports images with transparent backgrounds for desktop screen/image background?

  Looks like you can refer to your wallpaper
  Photo (wallpaper)

  To remove the desktop background picture (wallpaper)... right click
  your desktop and choose... Properties / Desktop tab / Background /
  No / apply / OK.

  To turn off the screen saver, right click on your desktop and choose...
  Properties / screensaver tab... Open the screen saver drop
  and choose... No / apply / OK.

  Hello

  Each theme will have its own selection of background images (wallpaper).

  In the Preferences window, select a theme and then click on backgrounds of office at the bottom of the window to see the images of this theme.

  Hi everyone, I d/l the background market application to change my background. When I bring up a picture that I want to save my background and click on to make it my background I get confirmation that the image has been changed. But when I navigate to my homescreen background image does not change.

  Are the Backflip is not able to use the Backgrounds app in the Android Marketplace to change our origins?

  I use JB wallpapers of the market and it works as it should. Maybe try a different application than of your currently used. Or if your application has an economy option, download and change the wallpaper manually via the android settings.

  My background wallpaper theme (which was a photo) disappeared from my computer and now it is all black with just the icons showing.  The file where I had substantive themes of previous screen also disappeared.  I'm not a computer expert but went through all of the files and windows find it them.  Could you help her?

  2. what happens when you try to change the wallpaper?

  3 have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

  You can try the method to solve the problem below:

  a. right click on a space empty of your office.

  b. scroll down and click on "Properties".

  c. Select "Windows XP" in the topic window, and then click the "Appearance" tab select "Windows XP Style" in the option windows and buttons.

  d. click 'OK' to save your changes. Your computer system will be put back to Windows XP theme original settings.

  If the Windows XP theme is not available on your computer, I suggest you uninstall any other third-party theme installed on the computer.
