Backup of Bioshock DLC

Original title: download DLC for BioShock 2, but later unstill game and reinstall once again recover DLC?

If I download a DLC for BioShock 2, but later decide to unstall the game for some reason any and install again could I still have my DLC? Should I save the DLC package and when I reinstall Bioshock 2, just enter them in the folder of the game? Or would I need to buy the DLC pack, again?

Hi all! It's my first time here, so I don't know much about how to make questions.

The thing is that I have a Pavilion dm4-3055dx and I need to install Ubuntu on it, but the problem is that my hard drive is dynamic and because of that, I can't do a dual boot, so I probably need to format my HARD drive to do it (and I'm having some problems with Windows 7 so I plan to do a clean installation of Windows 7 or 8.1).

The problem is that if I format my laptop I'm losing drivers and all software there (HP Support Assistant, HP Cool sense, HP Power Manager, HP SimplePass 2012, Beats Audio Control Panel, Synaptics Touchpad v8.0, QuickWeb, etc.), so I would like to know if there is a way to make a backup or be able to install them again after I format my laptop and do a clean install of Windows?

I also want to know if these also affects the BIOS updates?

Note: I can't make a recovery disk because I have problems with him, sometimes it is not recognized the media and other times it fails after the first DVD.

Sorry if I made a mistake, English is not my native language

On the backup of all your data, you can still use the system restore Image by accessing:

Start-> Control Panel-> system and security-> Restore Files-> Create System Image

You said that you were unable to write DVD but maybe you can use an external HARD drive to backup all your files, but you may need to check if this is possible since some system data may be compromised as you said your operating system does not work as expected.

ID is recommended to backup all your important data such as documents on a USB stick also just to make sure that you will be able to recover your system image after format you your laptop.

EDIT: I forgot to add that you can download all the drivers you need from this link:

  • BioShock 2 crashes when the menu is open.

I installed Bioshock 2, but if I try to open the main menu in the game, after economy/backup automatic, the game will crash.  How can I fix it?  My DirectX and video card drivers are up to date; I tried already.

Here are the specs of my computer:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
    Processor: Intel Core 2 6420 @ 2.13 GHz
    RAM: 2.13 GHz, 2.00 GB
Graphics card: nVidia GeForce GTS 450

While I'm at it, I downloaded the update for Bioshock 2, he (supposedly) installed, I rebooted my computer, but it is still asking me to update.  When I try, it just sits there indefinitely and does not move.  Therefore, I can not play multiplayer or online.  Fixes for this?  Reinstall has not fixed the problem.

  • Backup and update the BIOS

Hello, I recently bought a new GPU for my pc, but curiously when I plug my power on my card the PC does not start. The card works fine on other PC and I tried different supplies as well. As a last hope, I am looking to update my BIOS to see if this will fix the problem.

My model is a p7 HP - 1027c and the FRIEND 7.13 BIOS version. I think I found the good BIOS update for your computer: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=cp-102192-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...

However, I was unable to find a way to backup ot my BIOS. Is there any program that I can use to create a backup copy in case something goes wrong with the update? Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the replies! Looks like it was something to do with my RAM, I swapped the sticks to different locations and the new GPU works very well. The 7950 old still does not work, so I think I'll sell and stick with the 660 gtx. Thanks for your help!

    Hello

I'm sorry, but you can make a backup of the computer with Vista Home Premium using the Vista operating system.

Only Windows Vista professional, comprehensive and company have a more advanced backup and restore utility called Windows complete PC Backup and Restore.

For this you will need to program 3rd group.

It is a program that must be bought:

There are other free programs to do this, but I them haven't used lately to recommend.

If you wish to only have a way of reinstalling Vista again, HP has a recovery partiton of the recovery disks from.

It's the HP of the information on how to do it:

  • TIPS OF BACKUP FOR DUMMIES

HP PAVILION.  MICROSOFT 7, 64 BIT. WINDOWS HOME PREMIUM.

I was told that computer, the files must be dumped every two years and only the important files back on the hard drive after recovery. I would like to know the best way to handle this. Should I start by removing all the waste that has accumulated over 2 and a half years, and then resumption of use? The only backups I've ever done are snapshot type of the operating system. In this case, I choose only what I really need.

I'm confused because I don't know how to save a program that has been downloaded and installed with many extracted files. How can I find this application in one piece and save until the computer went through a recovery? How can I save my favorites? I'm scared and need help. Thank you, Joseph

    Hello Joseph,.

OK, here's how it would work. If it is not already connected internally, you connect your empty hard disk to your computer and save your applications (programs) and the data to him. A really good backup application is free software EaseUS Todo Backup here: http://download.cnet.com/EaseUS-Todo-Backup-Free/3000-2242_4-10964460.html?tag=mncol;1 . The program scroll you through the backup process. Remember not to store your OS, since that's what you're going to replace.

Once that's done go here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01867418&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5054169&tmp_track_link=ot_search to learn and print how to make the system recovery. The procedure is also explicit, just do attention to various "warnings" to protect against undesirable consequences.

Once this is done, you return to programs and data that you have backed up and restore to their original location. And that's all.

I can help you with specific tasks or questions, just post it here and I'll answer. It is 'a little' work, but it is a relatively simple procedure to do. I would like to know how I can help you in this task.

    Kind regards

  • CCleaner registry cleaner used and kept backup entries

I have used CCleaner registry cleaner and have also used backup for all issues cleaned.  Is this an error in the registry cleaning?.  I have Windows 7 and now find that I can not open Microsoft Word Starter 2010 or documents created under this program.  This could result in using CCleaner registry cleaner?  Should I restore all backup entries that I have in my library of documents?  That would restore the program Microsoft Word Starter 2010?

  • I've never done a Time Machine backup and I have upgraded to iOS Sierra. Help!

I'm a fool. After owning my Macbook for 5 years, I failed to make a single Time Machine backup. I just saved my essential to an external hard drive. I have upgraded to iOS Sierra. Big mistake. I want to go back to iOS Capitan, but it does not seem possible. Now, my external hard drive is wiped clean (things are dark). What are my options? If I'm stuck with Sierra?

If you have downloaded El Capitan, it should always be available in your purchases. Now, you will need to make a backup to backup your personal files.
