  I have not used McAfee antivirus for a long time. But when the reinstallation of win7 in a virtual machine, I decided to try the free 12 months McAfee. Everything seemed very nice until the installation has been completed... Then, during activation of antivirus software, McAfee said that this version is no longer supported.

  But someone at VMWare or McAfee should probably just remove the outdated software or include a newer version.

  Your user agent string has been altered in the past when you were using Firefox 3.6 and it has not been updated since. Try reading some sites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version

• Bad link to version of the DPS App Builder?

  My installed DPS App Builder is version 3.1.0, but I still have a message that version expired. Tried to upgrade to the latest version from the link, bouth in the login window in DPS and producer Folio Builder but they are in the same version 3.1.0.

  The links have not been changed since Monday.

  I m not able to upgrade or use my DPS App Builder.

  I´s not the first time that the link to a new version in DPS App Builder were wrong, but he was correct in Folio Producer.

  Looking at my logs of licenses, I see that people are doenloading the old versions of my app on App World. And the new version is available for sale for at least 6 months!

  I had this happen before and there seems to be a bug in the App World. I don't know if this helps, but what I did for my old versions is together than lists of their device to one of the devices of 8700 and together the BONE minimum 7.0 support. This will actually make the application not compatible with the device, but I do not know if or not the App World Server will still deliver older versions. Check that devices that receive the old version are indeed included in the list of compatibility for your new version.

  I guess the user ends up getting a notification to upgrade later if they initially download the old version, but this isn't a consolation a customer is dissatisfied with the old version.

  The way that some colleges set up is, when you graduate you can continue running the license, but if you lose it by formatting the machine or otherwise, you will need to buy a license or reinstall the original license that you ran before the upgrade of the company.

  Some colleges use KMS license that requires that the license be reactivated in 180 days. Thus, you need to remove after you graduate, because you will not be able to connect to the school network and turn it back on, which is required by KMS activation.

  I also noticed that a lot of the community of bloggers who talk about their experience of exam VCP - NV and other resources as study guides seem to either specific 6.1, or mix and match the two (has as 6.1 only relay DHCP and Edge AREA being popular examples).   Obviously, this makes for a confusing learning experience when there are specific circumstances where a reply can be good or bad depending on version.

  I have a subscription to creative cloud and I lilve in Norway. Most applications are not available in Norwegian and that's fine with me - I want to use the English version anyway. But Photoshop default in Norwegian, and there is no option in the settings of Photoshop. How can I get rid of the badly translated Norwegian version and get the English version where I can understand what that all means?

  You can try to solve the language settings in Adobe Application Manager.  The language setting is available in the preferences.

• SQL Developer Version 3.0.02 really slow to produce results

  Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here as a SQL Developer on my machine is so slow, that it is virtually unusable (it was not as bad in previous versions but it is possible, that I also have a new JDK since). I open a connection to an Oracle database and the simple type:

  and click on the green triangle (ctrl + enter). The green triangle and the icons of commit / rollback are going gray and I start counting the seconds rough. I arrive at 30 before the result is displayed and I can do anything and yet it says:
  
  All of the lines read: seconds 1 to 0.002
  
  In sqlplus the exact same query returns immediately. I added - J - Dsdev.insight = false to the command line (as it may slow down the Oracle SQL Developer) but this did not help. I'm running Linux Ubuntu 10.10 with
  3353400 KB of memory according to cat/proc/meminfo and my ~/sqldeveloper/jdk file contains:
  
  /usr/lib/JVM/Java-6-Sun-1.6.0.24
  
  quality shows:

  Yes, there were "dark ages" for the performance of the SQL Dev queries from 30EA1 and 30EA2 (3.0.02).
  He said that re-encoding on SQL history was to blame for this.
  Unfortunately, there is no satisfactory solution for these versions.

  Wondering if anyone knew if Interactive Reporting 8.5 has a "direct upgrade path" in 11.1 or if it was one which would require an upgrade of one of the 9 versions supported before upgrading to 11.1.   Toshiba has delivered a version of these recovery CD and all preinstalled Norton software. I think it has something to do with marketing policy

  Anyway, the Norton Antivirus can be removed in the simply elsewhere!

• BlackBerry Smartphones ADB works with Blackberry PRIV?

  I am trying to download packages apk on my Blackberry PRIV using android ADB tool from a Windows 7 machine.

  I have installed the USB drivers (RIM-USBDrivers - 4.2.0.117.exe) on W7 and the developer mode on the phone. When I connect the phone, it is correctly detected under W7, but when I type the command "adb devices-l", it is not listed. I get the standard message asking to authorize my PC to connect to the phone. On my Samsung S5, all works well...

  Anyone has try using ADB with Blackberry PRIV?

  I downloaded Android Studio and I tried with Bad delivered with it. With the new ADB, all now works well :-)
