BAD_POOL_CALLER STOP: 0x000000C2 on (re) - install of Vista Home on a pure (reformatted) hard

On a clean disk (reformatted) on a Compaq Presario CQ50 I see the following error blue screen when doing a re recovery disk - install (family Visa SP1):

BAD_POOL_CALLER STOP: 0X000000C2 (0 X 00000007, 0X0000113D, 0X00000000, 0X8F246B08).

The hard drive is scanned by Seatools (it's a Seagate) and memory has been analyzed by the BIOS (PhoenixBIOS) well all digitized.

BACKGROUND:
Since it is a re - install I had obviously some problem before. There was a blue screen during operation (running outlook) but I didn't get the error at this time codes here. On reboot, Vista tried repair/restore itself. He failed several times, then SEEMED to work. But once again, it BSOD'ed (not catch)...restore/repair error once again and a few failures in the process.) Yet once it seems to work, but still BSOD'ed after a few boots. At this time regarding the recovery discs seemed wise.

A ran a diagnosis (Seatools as the HD is Seagate) on the hard drive and didn't find any problems. Ran the BIOS diagnostic on memory and came out well.

This certainly looks like for lack of material. I would test the memory with Memtest86 + www.memtest.org . Of course, you must obtain the program from a working machine. You will download the .iso image file to create a bootable cd. You will need a third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Then start with the media that you did (you may need to change the boot priority in your BIOS so that the optical drive is the first boot device). The test runs immediately. The test run for an hour or two--at least that errors are seen immediately. If you get any errors, replace the RAM. If the memory is really OK, then you know that another component is defective. Since you have already tested the hard drive and it went (I assume you did the test long; if not please do) then you know that the motherboard is probably bad.

  • Problems after doing a clean install of Vista Home Premium and service pack 2

I see that others have the same problem as me, but there is no way to comment (that I can see) on the thread I've read.  After a lot of problems, I did a clean install of VISTA Home Premium (came with my Dell PC) and when I installed service pk2, all of the same problems that led me to do a clean install appeared.  I can't the computer to recognize and install the keyboard and the mouse of the blue tooth. (Don't tell me to contact the manufacturer, because they came w / the computer and say "Dell" on them!)  He told me that the enumerator does not work.  Then I launched Quicken, and when I tried to save a registry check for print, he gave me the msg "Quicken launcher has stopped working".  He was a key reason I did a clean install.  The only improvement is that I can at least open Quicken, which he would not let me do before.  How to uninstall service pack 2?

  • If I install Windows Vista Home Premium to my Windows XP is it go faster?

Hi, I want to know if I install Windows Vista Home Premium on my Windows XP Home Edition it will go faster? Now, Windows XP is very slow and my son wants to play online games and he can't because the computer will have to slow down. So I was wondering if I install the Windows Vista disc I had, this will make faster? and the computer I have an adapter to receive Web, couldn't that make it slow to? Please answer.

It depends on the specifications of the system... XP might be infected with something, if its slow. You have it scanned with an AV program or something? Vista needs a bit more ram than XP. So, if there is not enough ram in the system, Vista can be just as slow (or slower) than XP. If the conversation of youre cable is an ethenet cable, you need it. Or you will not get on the internet

    Huh?

Try to understand, taking the repeated mention, I guess you're saying that you have Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and you do not have any audio.

Have you spent at the web page of the manufacturer of your computer support and their section downloads & drivers and got the last audio/HiFi drivers for your specific hardware?  They are those who produced and load of the equipment.

V11 of planning can be installed on Windows XP Home edition on my laptop?
    Thank you.

    It is not officially supported.
One of my friends has tried to install the whole package to XP recently. He made a few components work but in the end he has created so many problems, it uninstalled completely. As for Vista, I don't think it's even just to try it. I am running Windows 2003 on my laptop (4 GB T61) and everything works fine.
Some people here had some experience on the same topic but, I hope that they share their experiences.

    Hello

The Stop error 0xC2 indicates a driver or process in kernel mode incorrectly attempted to perform a memory operation. As a general rule, faulty device drivers or device software may cause this error message.

Step 1: to resolve a Stop 0xC2 error message, use the kernel debugging tool and create a user dump file.

For more information about how to create a kernel user dump file, click the numbers below to view the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

I try already and my system is configured to boot from the cd first dvd room.
After that start the DVD vista sytem shows the error 'windows couldn't start error Oxc0000001.

It is not a DVD - RW SATA is?

If you need Intel drivers Matrix to exploit your readers to drive HARD and DVD - RW, DVD - RW SATA won't work properly (owners of Intel motherboard you lucky guys don't have this problem). Need to install drivers of matrix for the DVD - RW being recognized (the egg before the chicken scenerio), hence the need for an IDE DVD - RW.

Second, make sure that the BIOS can identify your DVD player correctly. If shut down you the computer and it stops, stops and restarts when you restart the computer again, the BIOS has not yet saved the change of equipment.

  • BOOTMGR is missing, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete while trying to install Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - Bit

Now that I got my 64-bit Vista in the mail and quickly install disc he jumped in my DVD player. The installation process went well until I was asked to choose which hard drive, I tried to install Vista on. I tried to format my hard drive to this screen, I was working with Vista 32 bit before that and saw no need to divide my two work machine with two separate versions of the same operating system. After formatting the hard drive, I have been unable to click on the 'next' button and engage the next step of the installation process. There was a message is displayed to the bottom of the window, as well tell a word about the installation of a machine already running windows. I would be happy to provide further information to the topic of my problems during this step, but my problems do not stop here.

After you notice the message described above and do not get farther in attempts to install later, I decided to try to reinstall the 32-bit version of Vista and then maybe try to upgrade to 64-bit. However when I put in the CD at retail, rather than receive messages at the start of a disc, I have met with the harsh reality of "BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart." Since then got trapped in a painful loop switching between disc 32-bit and the 64-bit disk in the hope that it would finally let me begin with him.

In addition to this logically faulty tactics, I also searched some online solutions. I made sure that my DVD drive is first in my boot order. My computer will not yet make Flex and give me the ability to boot from a disk.

My question is this; How can I get my computer let me boot from a disc again?

I will probably also need help to drive problem hard he, but as I can not even in a position to provide information on this issue at the time I need to have the above resolved dilemma first.

  • How to install Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit?

Hello! Can someone tell me how can I make Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit to 64-bit?

    Here's my question: -.

    1. I bought a version of Windows Vista Edition retail family Premium, the package has only the 32-bit support (DVD). I found a few website say that the product key for the retail version of Windows is for 32-bit and 64-bit, as long as we use 32 - bit or 64 - bit on a single computer at a time. If I'm wrong, anyone could answer my question?

    2. now, I plan to move from 32 bit to 64 bit, my problem is that the version sold at retail of Windows that I purchased only contain 32-bit media:-

    (a) is there a way I could install the 64-bit Windows?

    (b) is it possible I could get 64-bit support?

    (c) could I use media in Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit retail a friend to install on my computer? And after installation, I can activate Windows with my product key?

Looking forward to the responses, thank you.

Do you a clean install from 32 bit to 64 bit.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsvista/1033/ordermedia/default.mspx

Link above is how you get 64 bit DVD, if you have a retail license.

You can use any Microsoft Vista 64-bit DVD and use your 32 bit key as you say it's Vista Retail

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Re-install (clean install) Windows Vista Home Premium with no installation disc

I have a laptop that is running Windows Vista. I would like to wipe the drive and reinstall Vista. The computer came preloaded with Vista and did not include the operating system installation diskettes. How would I be able to get the Vista installation diskettes? My computer is an Acer Aspire 5100. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit (SP2).

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact Acer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a fee if they are still available.

    http://us-store.Acer.com/RCD/

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

With an Acer, it's "left Alt + F10 at startup".

"How do I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program outside of Windows?

    http://Acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/2631

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

See programs > Acer > then their eRecovery software stars for them.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
