I have a family vista premium 32-bit install windows vista Home premium. now I have no sound

Huh?

Try to understand, taking the repeated mention, I guess you're saying that you have Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and you do not have any audio.

Have you spent at the web page of the manufacturer of your computer support and their section downloads & drivers and got the last audio/HiFi drivers for your specific hardware?  They are those who produced and load of the equipment.

  • Windows vista family 32-bit premium; bluescreen problem?

    First of all, I'll go on what I've already tried:

    -Run multiple analyses of virus/malware/spyware
    -Updated with windows updater/drivers as much as possible
    -Wipe the computer and re-installed Windows vista (the projected Blue computer while installing Windows vista)

    I got bluescreen viewer and in each of the minidump files, there is a file named "ntkrnlpa.exe" in each of them.  No matter how many times I Googled, I know really more about it now as I did when it first started to happen. (A month ago btw)

    I found the results of other people having this same problem, but there has been no valid solution and if there is, it's for windows 7 and not vista.
    At this stage, I can only assume, it's a hardware problem, but I hope I'm wrong, because I don't know where to start exactly what needs to be replaced.

    The malicious software removal tool does not use an installer. As a general rule, when you run the malicious software removal tool, it creates a temporary directory named at random on the root of the drive of the computer. This directory contains several files, and it includes the Mrtstub.exe file. Most of the time, this folder is automatically deleted after the tool to the end of execution or the next time that you start the computer. However, this folder may not always be automatically deleted. In these cases, you can manually delete this file, and this has no adverse effect on the computer.

    Visit the Microsoft Solution Center and antivirus security for resources and tools to keep your PC safe and healthy. If you have problems with the installation of the update itself, visit the Microsoft Update Support for resources and tools to keep your PC updated with the latest updates.

    Mr. Michael-thanks for the reply and help... but I need more... I decided to reinstall my windows vista family 32-bit premium, now I work with vista full... like I said u before I think it is not legal...
    pls tell me how can I reinstall it on the site because I do not have adisk (I have the old product key that come with my laptop to Vista Edition home premium)
    my lap top is Toshiba...
    Thank you

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

    Toshiba support

    Contact Toshiba and ask them to send you a set of recovery Vista disc/s.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    Then reinstall Vista with them.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    See if you still have a recovery Partition on your hard disk to reinstall vista home Premium.
    Try this and see if it works:
    Toshiba Recovery:
    To access the recovery partition Toshiba, powering the laptop. Press 0 (zero) key and turn on the laptop. Keep holding down the zero key until the TOSHIBA logo, which is where you should start to type the zero key repeatedly. Stop if the device emits a sound signal or when the TOSHIBA logo disappears. The screen should light up * MODE of RECOVERY of HARD drive * for a fraction of a second, and then load the Toshiba Recovery program directly from the hard drive.
    Note that this clears all data and reload all the software factory default. Be sure to back up all your important personal data beforehand!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good DVD (not Dell, HP, etc.) Vista.
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    If you can borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD(not a friend's HP, Dell recovery disk!), here's how to clean install it:

    The message you receive indicates imminent hard drive failure. There are has a few tools out there like Hard Drive re-Builder who allegedly fix otherwise unrecoverable disk sectors. However, these are not freeware, which means you would have to pay for the tool. At the time when you did that you could buy a new hard drive.

    In addition, according to my research your laptop is quite old. Pentium III is very outdated. My advice to you is to get your data on the hard disk immediately regardless of whether you intend to repair the computer laptop or not. I would use the laptop as possible to extend the period of time for you to get your data. I was then looking in a new computer.

  • Impossible to get Vista Home laptop to connect wirelessly to C6380 printer

    Hello

    I bought a Photosmart C6380 and I think it is an easy task to connect to this printer boy I was wrong! I have been successfully connect this ptinter to my ASUS router/switch and could print from my XP Home Office, this computer is connected to the router with CAT5e cable. What I can't do is get this same configuration on my laptop VISTA home. I'm sure that the laptop is connected to my network (pourrait borwse the internet, was ping my office) but I couldn't ping the IP address of the printer C6380. It is not surprising that the HP software provided has not found all devices configured on the network.

    What I have tried is the following:

    1. I could ping the IP of my laptop VISTA Home from my office and I could also ping the IP address of the printer and printing is successful.

    2. I could ping the IP address of my desktop XP Home from my laptop VISTA Home, but from here, I could not ping the printer.

    3 disabled the firewall on the VISTA laptop, I still could not ping the printer (Destination unreachable)

    4. updating to version 12 of the HP software and did all the updates from HP. Tried to find the printer, as before, the HP software could not see device at all. Ping the IP address of the printer came with the same results.

    5 disabled IPv6 on VISTA NIC, Ping the printer, the same results - inaccessible destination.

    I think I did everything what a sane person would not to analyze this problem without resorting to trace on the network packets. Is there something else I could try - something I've missed here? I'm not accusing VISTA Home right now! Looking at this forum, there seems to be a lot of problems related to wireless to VISTA - is that correct? (This may be down to the chipset wireless laptop?)

    Kind regards

    Hi there is WiFi Guy,

    Trying to navigate between the parameters of 'isolation of user' in the wireless configuration, I noticed that for some reason any which parameters would remain unchanged or registered. I tried different settings, and there is no change at all! I did not understand why it is thought that there is an error with the wireless router. So I tried firmware updates (but none is available from ASUS) and even considered going with the OpenWrt firmare. But before we go down that road it dawned on me that the update of the page could be due TSE incompatible browser. Then I opened to the top of old trust Microsoft IE, instead of Google Chrome that I used to try to change the settings, down-and-here's the wireless settings page is not what I saw in Google Chrome! "4 X" and is therefore "user isolation. So i unchecked 'isolation of user,' the settings saved and restarted the router's wireless service. Now I can ping other wifi devices even the printer to my wireless laptop!

    Tried my luck, installed the software provided HP and now the SW can detect the printer on the wireless network. Yes!

    So it is a lession: somethimes it's the room the less obvious technology that you take for granted is in fault and nothing complicated at all!

    Thanks for your help!

    Using the Group Policy Editor
    If your edition of Windows Vista includes the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) snap-in, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type gpedit.msc and press ENTER
    2. go to the following branch: Computer Configuration | Administrative templates | System | System Restore
    3. double click on disable the Configuration and set it to not configured.
    Note: If the above setting is already set to not configured, set it to "Enabled" and click on apply. Return back the setting to not configured, then click on apply, OK.
