Bad_POOL_HEADER ALIENWARE17

29 of the 34 depressed had a bugcheck = 0 x 19 (bad pool header). 26 of those listed likely as the disk.sys driver from Microsoft, which is simply a default value. 4 dumps listed Intel storage driver iastorA.sys.

Code:
iaStorA.sys Tue Aug 18 08:18:59 2015 (55D322B3)One dump had a bugcheck = 0xc4 - Driver Verifier flagged a driver. However, it was a Microsoft driver that was flagged. This in and of itself confirms that system problem is more than likely related to unknown hardware failure. Kernel memory dumps are incapable of telling the exact piece of hardware that has failed.

The problem may also be with other hardware parts such as the motherboard or PSU for which there are no software tests. SUGGESTIONS ???? I have laptop coupleweeks only problems from day one

That's exactly what I tried to report to you guys (Dell) since December, 2015. You pay attention? I was getting the same exact questions, with the components the same exact OP described above.

For the last time: it's your Dell SupportAssist. OP, uninstall it and will indicate if these questions/BSOD keep occurring, or not - I'm betting you'll find your stable system suddenly. Mine has been - for more than a month now. The proof is in the results. Not to mention the 100 + hours I spent trying to get the PC Dell/doctor to examine it. The good news? PC Doctor has keep in touch with me over the last two weeks - they took my memory.dmp, mini dump files, and the SupportAssist LogGrabber newspapers to help me to find a real solution here. Meanwhile, Dell just lies... quietly without taking into account the fact that there is a problem with the SupportAssist software atm.

Just admit it already! How many others we have to report that this is a recurring problem since DECEMBER 2015! It is now March! Come on!

    Hey everybody

About 2 weeks ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A500-19w. Have been crackling sounds from the speakers, but also error blue screen & restart.
So I decided that I wanted a refund because it was out of the question for me to keep a laptop that has been hurt since the first day.

The Bank refused to give me my money back, instead they gave me a new laptop (the same Satellite A500-19w).

Now, I have the same exact problems, but since I will not get my money, I'm stuck with it.
I've had the laptop for 3 days now, and only today I had 4 blue screen errors (the last 3 times, after windows restarted, I don't even have a log of the error so that I could post it here).

But from what I remember, it was a BCCode 19, & during the last blue screen that I had, I saw "BAD_POOL_HEADER".
I was going through the forums desperately try to find a solution, but have not found anything so far.
I don't know what the problem is, I really need help.

My OS is a Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.
    (All A500-19w normal sheet example 1 g Ram, 230 M nVIDIA VGA...).

    I really really need help.
I have a lot of work to do and this laptop is the only tool I have.
I don't have access to other computers.

    Help, please.

And one more thing, service of Toshiba Tempro advised me a new update of the BIOS, but when I tried to get it, he told me that ' you seem to have the same version or newer "or something like that & the update did not work.
Yet once, please, I'm desperate for help.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I think the problem is software partner.
The google provides many successes on the BSOD BCCode 19 and the BAD_POOL_HEADER

Unfortunately, it is not easy to say which application or a driver could cause this because its always a different software...

But you can check the minidump file to obtain more details on the error...

Series of problems, I tried to bugs, downloaded & ran "Driver Detective", (I think the necessary thingy a display updated - Nvidia one driver), run the program antivirus & malware detector, try to understand this.  Today, had a blue screen saying BAD_POOL_HEADER

    STOP: OXOOOOOOOO19 (OXOOOOOOO20, OXE22BE448, OXE22BE468)

What are these things?  I could not windows to boot in a first time.  I kept trying different things (tried Safe Mode: he wouldn't even go to Mode without failure or Mode safe mode with networking). I turned it off, let it sit for 60 seconds, then tried to start it again.  Same thing happened.  Then off, turned off the power source, let it sit for 90 seconds.

He usually gets up just before the "starting Windows" and blacks out.  But, finally, I got this error on blue screen
    and
I had trouble with memory, pagefile so checked recently, who was set to let Windows take care of it - but I kept running out of memory (Ctrl Alt Del showed me this window that says CPU running at 100%)- so I increased the pagefile max because this drive is huge and there is a lot of space for the virtual memory... just not enough physical RAM.

    Hello

    1. When you get this blue screen error normally, while using the computer, or work on a specific application?

    2. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

There are a number of causes of BSOD BAD_POOL_HEADER, the most frequent causes are bad drivers associated with the video/sound/network problems HARD drive, memory problems and also card motherboard/BIOS can sometimes cause it.

  • BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD on my ASUS computer

If last year around November, I used my computer and he turned off without properly closing. When I tried to restart the computer, it would give me different BSOD. I've left sitting for a few months and now it shows BAD_POOL_HEADER (0 x 00000019). I tried the diagnostics, the command chkdsk cmd and several other methods to remedy. I think I know what the problem is, but am not able to fix it. I have an ASUS laptop and I think that the problem is caused my ASUS Fastboot. He told me in the center of the Action last time I opened my computer, (which was around November) that ASUS Fastboot had problems. It is said that it took place 28 times. I am not able to uninstall it, change, move, or disable it because it always shows an error of some sort. I've been looking around the community for some time now, and everyone seems to be asking for Minidump files. My computer for some reason any is not able to create them because when I get the BSOD, it just says that he created the newspaper of the accident and it will just sit there... I tried to disable Fastboot ASUS in the BIOS, but I have a very old software (since the computer was purchased in 2009) and am able to disable Quietboot ASUS (which says that if it is disabled, it will show the regular POST messages.) I don't want to wipe the hard drive that I have a lot of important documents, photos, etc. stored on it. Can someone help me?

We need the log files themselves (called a DMP files) because they contain the only record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for posting this request here, in the Microsoft Community.

This might have caused due to all the files in the program of third party/PPP. I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

    Method 1:

Try the procedure described in the following Microsoft Help article and check if that helps. This article consists of the steps to solve the errors blue screen on your computer.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7

Warning: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

    Method 2:

Put the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists. This will help you determine which third party/PPP program is causing this problem.

See the following Microsoft Support article to place the computer in a clean boot state.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

After you have determined which third party/PPP program is causing this problem, try reinstalling the program/application and see whether this is due because of installation issue related or not.

You've got at least an error checking that is attributable to the corruption of memory (BAD_POOL_HEADER), and you have solid evidence of faulty RAM. I suggest replace the RAM suspect, or at least to do new tests with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic, keeping in mind that memory that passes the test is not necessarily good memory - he has not only failed to review.

  • Why not make a BAD_POOL_HEADER message?

Hello! Sometimes when I open a program, I get a message BAD_POOL_HEADER. The strange thing is that it happens not every time. I think it's most often when the computer first starts, but I recall that it can happen randomly at any time, as well.

I run Windows 7 64 bit, Service Pack 1. The processor is Intel Core i3 - 2310M, 2.1 GHz I have 8 GB of RAM.

The program I am trying to open's final 2011, which is a notation software. I also raised this point on the forums of the final and we are working there, too.

Let me know what other information I should offer to help you get to the bottom of this issue. Thanks if you can help!

    Alex

The new crash log is from early November so not exactly current, but it was related to the peripheral debutfilterx64.sys 64 - bit of NCH Software Windows kernel mode driver.  I would like to delete it

Several times a day I'm especially crashed with a BSOD, but it freezes sometimes "simply".  I did a disk check and a memory test.  I can go back to last August, but I suspect that will not work, because it hangs in Mode safe and even crashes if I run Linux on a CD.

I see a different reason for each accident, in the window that opens after the re-login, the BSOD is not always tell me why, but they were all multiple:

    BAD_POOL_HEADER
    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR-EQUAL
    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

I received this "ROM" only once to a BSOD: "win32k.sys attempt to write in ROM.

All my files are in a unique OneDrive zip archive.  I've included the STOP codes that I get when reconnected (txt file), the dmp and xml files... two zips and a text file in a single archive.  There are fewer than I expected with so many accidents in the txt file.

You probably face some form of a conflict between Norton and the module (Vipre AV gfibto.sys) listed below, and this can lead to problems of corruption... See if you can remove the two and replace Norton with Microsoft Security Essentials.

  • Bad_Pool_Header BSOD on several PC randomly after installing Lync 2013

We just deployed Microsoft Lync 2013 in our Organization.  In fact, we have about 18 machines Windows XP left so they Lync 2010, but on 100 machines Win 7 with 2013.

Since this installation, there were a few random BSODS multiple computers and they are usually BAD_POOL_HEADER and it refers to two files, ntoskrnl.exe, and win32k.sys.
That they come from different machines, it cannot be the corruption of the local memory.  If it's a particular machine I would exchange the RAM, but it is not that.
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machines.  Office 2010 32-bit.  The last change is Lync 2013 15.0.4517.1004 MSO 15.0.4517.1005 32-bit.  Before deploying Lync 2013, I did have one of these reports.
The BSOD is random.  Not necessarily the same PC every day.  Maybe 3 or 4 BSOD's a day from different people.  But you really try to determine what is happening here until things get worse.  Also, we run Vipre Antivirus Business.  It is configured to exclude *. OST files, just to help the stability of Outlook 2010 for those who use laptop computers in cached mode.
Any idea?  I've been collecting dump files.
    Thank you!

It seems that the PC that had the problem had a fntcache.dat of different size, so if that were the case, hopefully regenerating the fntcache.dat will fix the problem.

  • BSOD bad_pool_header 0 x 00000019 on windows 7

I'm all sorts of BSOD on my system Win7 Ultimate. The error messages are of the following types:

    BAD_POOL_HEADER

    KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

    NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

In all these cases, the use of BlueScreeenView includes a reference (in red) to

    C:\Windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe

If any ' I can provide complete sets of depressed.

    What's wrong?

You can run the tool startup repair by using the Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc or using the preinstalled computer recovery options.

To run the Startup Repair tool by using the Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc

If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc, follow these steps to use the Startup Repair tool:

    1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.

Note the computer must be configured to start from a CD or a DVD. For more information on the configuration of the computer to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer.

2 restart the computer. To do this, click Start, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart

Note If you cannot restart the computer by using this method, use the power button to turn off the computer. Then, turn the computer back on.
    3. set your preferred language and then click Next

Note in most cases, the Startup Repair process starts automatically and you do not have to select in the System Recovery Options menu.
    4. click on repair your computer.
    5. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next
    6. in the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair to start the repair process.
    7. when the repair process is finished, click on finish

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you perform a restore of the system on the computer to restore back the previous settings when it was working fine.
To use the Windows recovery environment, you must have the Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc. To start the Windows recovery environment, follow these steps:

1 put the installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
    2. press a key when you are prompted.
    3. Select a language, a time and currency, and a keyboard or input method, and then click Next.
    4. click on repair your computer
    5. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next
In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click System Restore to restore the operating system to the restore point created when the program or the driver has been installed.
