  Thanks for the reply, it seems that Trusteer is slightly behind updates of Firefox browser. I was talking about support Trusteer at the same time that Mozilla and got this response from Trusteer and it works now. Seems they have a newer version upwards on the website dated June 2014.

  I guess you want to keep your cookies but not your history. You can select what is removed when you close Firefox in Options > privacy > select "use the custom settings for history".   However, I had a problem with deleting the files. I dragged to the trash, and then tried to access the sites in question and received the same message. I restarted the computer and when I checked the files I was dragged to the trash were right where they were before. The only file that are been trashed was the .txt file.

  So I renamed them as you suggested and now everything works fine.
