• Problems with Live Preview and edit quick

  Hi all!

  I just started using edge code. I saw some videos on youtube, and if the edge has worked as seen on this video it would have been wonderful.  The problem is especially when it comes to CSS (quick edition):

  1, I select a tag (i.e. < P >), and then press CTRL + E.  Can I get the inline editor.

  2. I press the new rule and add that font-size: 24 PX.  Then after what I read, the changes should appear both in the preview.

  But nothing happens. I thought: OK, maybe I should try to save, I press CTRL + S, but then I got this message:

  an error occurred trying to save the file C:/program files (x 86) / Adobe/Adobe Egde Code CC/samples/root/Getting Started/main.css.  The authorization does not do editing.

  So, how to solve this problem?  I think edge code is useless witjhout this feature.

  PS I also downloaded in parentheses, but had the same problem.

  It is difficult to read your last comment because it seems that the HTML that paste you not escaped properly.  But in your simple example above, I think that CSS does not apply because it only y no tag in the HTML code to load the CSS file.

• Two screens - editor and live preview

  Hey guys, I'm still a rookie when using Dreamweaver, I can code, but cannot use the comprehensive software to its potential.

  In any case, I have 2 computer screens that I can use. I want to display the Editor screen on one and the Live Preview on the other - so I'm not flipping between them all the time and can see my code work correctly. I need for a ticket Web site, I am paid for - http://www.prime-ticket.com.

  You can do ' some kind of ' DW, but only with the Source Code on one screen and Design/Live View on the other. To do this, open your Code inspector window by clicking window > Inspector Code or F10. Move the Code Inspector on your second monitor and coming out of your Live/Design view with the frame of the application on the other screen.

  You "can" also drag an image 'maximized not' application to cover both screens, allowing you to put your windows where you want, but causes so many other problems, it's simply not worth it.

  I agree with Nancy, use creating an idea for the feature request of "true double/multiple monitor support (like Photoshop)" and you will get a nice chunk of votes on this issue. It's something that DW is necessary since it was created in my opinion.

  Also don't tell me that the error means "Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with features of spam or IP/domain reputation. If you're not an email/network admin, contact your mail service provider and the Internet to help. "because I know that already. We have solved the problem concerning the spammer and we just need to remove from the hotmail blocked list.

  The place was given in the bounce message, that you have received. If you read through the page, you would have found the link to an online form that you can use to ask for help.

  It is now defective due to a change in API with Chrome v34. We are currently working on a change which will be published shortly. She will work in Chrome v33, but I don't know if there's a way to go back.

  FYI, edge Code is based on media (http://brackets.io) that has the fix for this problem, so you can also try with strips.

  So, to cut a long story short. I have Google Chrome Google Chrome & m32 Canary installed on my desktop.

  I tried to test "Live Preview" and found that when you click on the 'light' bolt I would be presented with a new window of Google Chrome Canary, and its associated profile (extensions and everything) would be absent.
  Preview live would work for a few seconds, until what I was greeted with this error message:

  

  I thought it was obviously a problem with edge Code CC opens the wrong browser as my default browser is Google Chrome (stable M32); not to mention the Canary Islands can only be activated in the default browser.

  Check the registry to see what settings have been applied, I found that the Canaries (SxS) has been defined as the default chrome.exe launcher?

  

  As well, this is obviously not "normal." and if it is a bug on the behalf of the chrome team, I have no idea, but I changed the default paths to Google Chrome Stable (M32)

  

  Back on Board Code CC, I went and attempted to open the default get startred with the live preview html file. It works as expected and I don't get the error previous edge Code CC threw on the impossibility to load the development page - except that it opens a tab of Google Chrome Stable (M32) skeleton, which is missing from its partner (singular only) user profile. The other matter outside the missing user profile; is that I get now that Google Chrome Stable (M32) error:

  

  Help with this bug would be greatly appreciated.

  Media uses a custom at the launch of Chrome profile so that it is not inconsistent with all the other things that you can run in Chrome.

  The bad news is that you will need to install all the extensions you want to use with the media in the new custom profile. The good news is that it is all being cached, but only do it once.

  To find the cache for this profile, use help > show the Extensions folder and then go up 1 level to the media folder. Custom profile data is stored in the live dev-profile folder.

• Edge Code Live Preview does not connect

  I am running overview dashboard (and media Sprint 20) on an iMac and a macbook pro. On the iMac the live preview works fine, but on the macBook is not.

  If I turn on the Live Preview on the macBook, nothing seems to happen other half of lightning turns yellow. Chrome does not launch, but after about 5 min, if Chrome is already running it will load the page but it is still not connected, no other changes are shown unless I refresh the browser. The bolt remains half yellow and connects never completely.

  Twice he has connected and worked correctly, but I can't see any sort of pattern so that it can work constantly. I reinstalled UN / all programs involved but same thing... exactly the same thing with brackets Sprint happens as well...

  As I said, it works perfectly every time on the iMac, and they run every two OS x 10.6.8.

  Any ideas?

  Hi Keita,

  Do you think you could try turning remote on debugging manually and see if it works? There are instructions here (replace chrome with Google Chrome) - http://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/run-chromium-with-flags

  This isn't a permanent solution, but it will help to track down if right holders cannot find Google Chrome in the right place or if it is unable to connect to the debugger.

  Well, I was looking at your code for a longer period that is now in good health and the only thing I can think is to ask if you want to have two container div with a class of content?

  I don't know if it's the anser but you can try to delete one of these and then find an of the

  Tags to balance that up.

  Try just to comment on the following:

  Then put in the comment end tag and see if that helps.

  I'm having a problem with Live View.  It worked very well, until recently.  Now, when I load a site stored locally, the page seems normal and links, highlight when I cursor over them, but when I click on them no navigation takes place.  I'm staying right on the index page.  The site tests fine in IE8, Chrome, Firefox and used to test properly in Live View mode.  The same thing happens with all my sites.  No changes have been made to my system.  Maybe I've changed a setting without knowing?  Y at - it a parameter type that I'm missing maybe?  Any help would be appreciated.

  You have not said why or what you're trying to install so I can't help with that.

  You can use the activity monitor to leave their.

  After you select an item, use the X in a type of stop sign icon and confirm force quit.

  What do you mean by 'repetition '?

  You use two phones? Or did you give the old phone to someone else? If you use two phones, one ID on both Apple is probably than most people. Before you give or sell an iOS device, you must sign in iCloud in settings > iCloud and restore the device as good as new.
