Battery - background activity to App Store

I know that the last thing that needs Community Support of Apple is another complaint of battery, however, this case appears to be different then all the others that I've seen here and I am completely baffled.

Just within the last 48 hours, my phone has been draining the battery faster then normal.  I have not modified the special parameters that would have affected this.  I kept an eye on what the parameters of the battery said uses my battery the most.

Earlier, I noticed that after only be awake for 4 hours today (with virtually any phone use because I'm at work) my battery is at 18% already and the phone feels hot.

Some information more: my job is not a WiFi for us to use (sh * t I know) so I manipulated strongly what applications use data because I often go to my data plan 4 - 5 times per month (AT & T *)... in any case. I have the cellular data disabled for the purposes of the App Store, but, when I checked my battery today use to see what happened to drain my battery so quickly, that he showed to 4.2 hours of use of the background.

I tried soft - reset my phone, and am probably going to try restore later today, however seem to help anything.

I really try to avoid going to the Apple Store to get it checked since the Mall is on the last place on Earth, I want to be right now.

Any suggestions?

Also disable auto downloading music, apps, books und app updates in the settings/iTunes & AppStores?

To make sure that it is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any data backup later. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone.

If the battery life goes back to normal, the restore to the last backup. If the problem returns, the data backup contains damaged data, causing your issues.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  • What can I do if an app downloaded from app store warms my phone and drains my battery?

    Hello

I downloaded an app on the app store and it warms my phone. I want to use it, but it is almost impossible to communicate with application developers. How can I ask Apple to check the application and communicate with them?

I really want to use the application, but I still need to connect my phone to charge it before use. I have test it on other phones and get the same result.

Try to remove it, perform a forced reboot, then put it back. If this does not work, you can provide feedback to Apple below but the developer may be the best option. Good luck.    http://www.Apple.com/feedback/iPhone.html

  • Why is the app store not update/download apps

It has been more than a week.  I have 35 applications that need to be updates and new applications I want to achieve... downloaded and the app store is dead... just dead and useless.  I did research on the issue and none of the solutions I've scratched the work.  How Apple let this just drag?

In addition, I feel like that has happened, my battery seems to be draining much faster than usual.  I can't help but speculate that something is happening in the background of this phone and it's associated software.

If my version 9.2 is not the most recent, then my phone is not letting me check for later version software (an error pops up when checking for software updates in the settings... this small wheel just guard spinning that appears an error message).

If this continues, I'll have to bring my phone and I am seriously considering to return to Android.  I'm frustrated to say the least... and is preparing to launch this gigantic brick of a phone off the Bay Bridge.  Help!

    Hello

The seller should take the steps described in the following article management before selling the iPhone for you, including clear and, if it was enabled, removing lock Activation:

If they have not cleared the iPhone, you should do before asking for yourself as the new owner.

If Activation lock remains active under Apple ID from the previous owner, you should arrange for them to remove the lock or return the iPhone for a refund:

  • Contact ID issues with App Store purchases

I can't use Touch ID to make purchases in the App Store or ITUNES. When I try, I get the normal connection, but then a new pop up without my user ID and I have to disable Touch ID to get anything.

    Hi apc1983,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you can use is no longer touch ID for purchases in the App Store or iTunes. I use Touch ID all the time in these applications, so I know how useful this feature is. I have a few things I want to try.

First of all, please use ID use on iPhone and iPad Touch and make sure Touch ID is set up exactly how it is in this article, in particular, this section:

    Manage your ID Touch settings

Go to settings > Touch ID & password to manage these settings:

    • Turn Touch ID active or disabled for access code, iTunes and App Store or Apple pay.
    • Register up to five fingerprints. Each new copy could do fingerprint recognition take a little longer.
    • Tap on a fingerprint to rename it to.
    • Swipe to delete a fingerprint.
    • A trace in the list by pressing the Home button. Corresponding printing in the list is highlighted briefly.

In iOS 10, you must press the home button using Touch ID to unlock your device. To unlock your device using Touch ID without pressing the Home button, go to settings > general > accessibility > Home button and turn on the finger remains open.

Then double - tap the "home" button and drag up to close the App Store application.

Finally, restart your iPhone, reopen the app from the App Store and test to see if you get the same question.

Additional information for Touch ID is in the iPhone user Guide.

  • iPad claims a bad Apple ID when updates to the app in the App Store

    Hello

When I try to update using the updates shown in app store, for couple of apps App Store shows a different iTunes ID and its asking to specify a password. Can you help me get rid of this and continue to update?

I had already tried to check the settings of the App Store and iTunes and there the user credentials and also I activated app updated it. Its does not help to resolve the situation.

    Can someone please?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards

    Pranab N.V.

Applications (and everything that is downloaded from the iTunes Store) are linked to the account which has downloaded. The id that displays in the updates tab should be the id who them downloaded on your iPad (or downloaded to the computer iTunes library which you synchronized of)-to get them linked to your account, you need to remove the apps and buy/download in your account.

  • Update iTunes 12.4.3 stuck on the App Store

The App Store loads this update iTunes to 30.2 MB out of 236 MB and then stops with 'calculation' displayed next to him. I tried to delete the items in the folder/Library/Updates and perform deletion suggested in the Terminal commands. The best I've done is to erase the progress in update so it starts again, but he always stops in the same exact place at 30.2 MB. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

The new App Store for El Capitan update has locked up my macbook pro.  Reboot got about 3/4 fact and the machine stops. Turned off the power and turn it on again for nothing doesn't.  How in my machine to begin troubleshooting?

The problem is most likely an attempt to update a system malfunction prior it is probably a problem with your computer, not the El Capitan.

    Start by:

Reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

MacIntel: Reset of the controller (SMC) system management

Start in Safe Mode , and then re - start normally. It's slower that a normal start, so be patient.

    If you are unable to start;

Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

Please make sure that you back up.

    1. Restart the computer. Immediately after that the chime hold down the command and R until the Utility Menu appears.
    2. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
    3. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) entry of the volume in the list aside.
    4. Click first aid icon in the toolbar. Wait until the button is active, then click it.
    5. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
    6. Select Reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

Also, see this tip for user: basic steps for the OS X upgrade.

    If this doesn't get you;

Install Yosemite or El Capitan, from scratch

    Backup if possible before proceeding.

Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime hold down the command and R buttons until the Apple logo appears. When the Utility Menu appears:

Select utility disc in the Menu Utility, then click the continue button.

When loading disk utility, select the volume (entered into withdrawal, usually Macintosh HD) from the list of devices.

Click Delete in the main window of disk utility. A panel will fall.

Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).

Click on the apply button, then wait for the done button to activate and click on it.

Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.

Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.
