Battery meter

My iPhone 6 is running iOS 9.3.1 just today started having a problem with the battery meter records does not correctly. After several hours of using my phone this morning, I noticed that he was always at 100% and he died soon after. It wasn't a problem last night, because I remember watching down to 4% and die last night. I had my time manually rather than what allows it to configure automatically. This http://fortune.com/2016/01/19/battery-issues-iphone-6s-and-6s-plus/ of fortune dot com suggested to do a hard reboot and automatic time setting enable. I restarted, and then activated, then restarted again, but nothing.

I got the iOS version that I am running for awhile, so I don't think that it has nothing to do with the update because I only started to have a problem with it this morning

First, download the autonomy since the app store app. It will tell you the status of the battery. Then try the battery meter calibration if the problem is not the battery.

Recalibrate your battery meter:

  • Charges to 100%
  • Run the battery until the phone turns off
  • If it stops above 1% charge for only one minute, and then continue running the battery down. Repeat until it makes 1% before shutting
  • Load it back to 100%

If the battery is defective, this should fix it.

  • Y40 - 80 randomly turn off. The battery calibration has not fixed the problem of battery meter.

    Hello

I've had this Y40-80 during about 9 months and it has recently been acting strangely. The laptop will stop randomly. I thought that it was a sign, I had to calibrate the battery but after I had calibrated the battery, the battery meter percentage remained at 100% for a good 2 hours until it starts to decrease.

Now, I tried to recalibrate the battery for 5 times using the howtogeek, OneKey and the discharge of the BIOS. I did a fresh install of Windows to get rid of all the software Lenovo that might have caused the problem, but that did nothing.

I also uninstalled the Windows ACPI and Lenovo ACPI, which does not solve everything.

This issue makes the computer laptop underclock the processor environ.48 Ghz, which makes the computer almost unusable.

Someone have an idea on how to solve this problem, or is the battery dead?

To determine what battery supplied with your computer laptop Y40, instructions to remove the lower cover can be found in the manual of Maintenance of equipment pdf here. • Windows 7 battery meter is not calibrated

    Hello

I use Windows 7 Ultimate in a laptop Dell E1705 as a test. When I installed the operating system, my laptop had a very old battery that discharge completely after only 5 minutes, the battery meter seems to detect it properly and off the PC accordingly. I bought a new battery directly from DELL, and it seems to recharge and discharge as planned (takes 3 hours). But Windows 7 battery meter seems to "remember" the former behaivor of battery or something really wrong with her. When I am on battery even though the battery meter reports 99% charged it shows a yellow alert and tells me that the battery is low. When the battery reaches about 77% or 80% load it tells me the battery is critical and the computer turns off! If I turn on the computer after that, he always tells me that the battery is critical to 80%! I can continue to work normally (with now a red alert) for 2 hours and a half like that, and when finally reached load 1% Windows does not detect what is really critical and do not shut down the computer. The battery will just drain completely and the laptop turns off suddenly. I checked the battery and load in the DELL bios and it seems OK. Windows battery meter reports the load properly, it's the actions that it performs and which are incorrect. How can I change this? How can I tell windows not to stop at 80% battery charge, but 10%. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you.

    Hello
I had exactly the same behavior, but after a month, install and reinstall the drivers, I finally found the reason and the solution. Go to 'Power Options', 'putting into change plan' of your plan, then 'Change advanced power settings', expand 'Battery' and set correct values for 'low battery level' (10%) and the "critical battery level" (5%). Mine were on 99 and 98 percent... This look is like changing the battery somehow confuses / changes these values?

I hope this will solve your problem...

    Best regards, Mihi

Make sure you always have ThinkVantage Power Manager always installed.  Look in each start--> programs--> ThinkVantage, or go to the--> Add/Remove Programs Control Panel and see if it's still there.

If for some reason it unintentionally uninstalled, then just reinstall.

If it is still installed, launch it by clicking Start--> programs--> ThinkVantage Power Manager-->

    or

Press the Fn + F3 and select Manage settings

In the Power Manager window, click Options, and check the option that says "See the gauge of Power Manager in the task bar" is selected.

If it is not already, and the gauge of Power Manager still does not appear, try unchecking then double checked this box.

If all else fails, try to uninstall and reinstall Power Manager.

  • receive battery WARNING on start up. the battery meter indicates "94% plugged in, does not support".

When I turn on my laptop a battery warning message.  I checked the battery meter that says the following "94% plugged in, does not support".   The laptop is fine, so why should I get this message and what I would do to this topic?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheryl

It is always recommended to run regularly only on battery power. It will actually make the battery last longer to let it discharge once a month. Realistically, if your laptop is on a desktop and plugged all the time, it is better to just remove the battery and only use it when you need portability.

  • battery meter Pavilion g6-2004tu is intermittently bad

Hi, I just bought a computer portable pavilion g6-2004tu a week at the back. Since then, I've noticed that sometimes the battery meter indicates a bad reading IE the percentage of remaining battery power remains constant for a long time, and the remaining time is also false, for example - 26%, time to 38 hours left. After a standby or hibernation, it becomes normal again. I checked my battery status, it says OK, i.e No calibration is required.  What could be the problem?

Even if the computer has the battery does not need calibration, I think that's always what you describe. During the time the battery can make 'forget' where the exact points of 0% and 100%. This can cause things such as showing an incorrect time of remaining battery power. Because of this HP recommended re - calibrate the battery every month 1-2. So start through the recalibration to be excluded as a possibility.

The process may be slightly different for each operating system, then here is the guide for Windows 7. If you have a different version of Windows let me know and I am looking for specific documentation. After trying these steps please post the result!
