  problem is I just installed battlefield 1942 on this computer and when I start the game and go in solo mode the mouse will allow me to move my body round and circle but I have no control key board. so I wnt out on the control panal and checked all what it and its all there. so I went on a server to try to play and he still doesn't let me go.  and it wont let me change the settings. I went to my counter top and right clicking on the icon of battlefield 1942 and made myseld admin still no aid ive been playing that this game now 4 years with other systems of the bone and has never had this problem before. all hope would be greatly app...

  According the description it doesn't look like a problem with the operating system, but simply by changing a few settings from within the game should take care of it.

• Error with Battlefield 1942 from Windows 7

  Battlefield 1942 and all patches and mods load with no problems.  When you try to start the program, my screen blinks a few times and then comes back on the desktop.   It doesn't show any errors.  Can anyone help explain this.  It ran fine on Windows XP 64-bit, I had previously.

  From what I could find on this game, it is compatible with Windows XP and earlier versions.  If you haven't tried the XP Mode of Windows 7 then you can install and then try to run the game in XP Mode.

  If this does not work, you can check with the support of EA and see if they have an update for the game.

  1366 x 768 is the strangest resolution that I've ever heard of. Your video card drivers helped "keep the proportions" and decided to not to stretch imagine because I assume that you can't choose this exact resolution in the game. If your monitor has an overdrive video or image format option, you can enable or disable that or if you have a NVidia card, you can change the picture format option in the properties of the video card.

  I've upgraded to windows 7 pro. When I installed Battlefield Viet Nam the game won't go up. Tried the copatiblity parameters and still does not. At windows Vista and worked fine.

  There is a new malware developed by MS called blocking of DRM. It is installed to Win7/8/8.1

  With Win7, you have three choices.

  -Uninstall the update DRM blocking "safety device".

  -Disable the 'feature' via the command prompt (how is linked below).

  -Use a noCD fix/hack.

  A noCD fix bypasses the disk check and in doing so also bypasses the secdrv.sys copy protection driver

  MS has determined to be the great Satan of files because it is supposed to be sensitive to attacks by malicious software

  (This file is on many machines for more than ten years, and the first time it has been reported that a risk is when MS came out Win10 with their malware blocking DRM built in).

  I have a Toshiba Qosmio F55 Q502 with purchase of system built-in GPS Garmin from the United States.
  But when I bring it to the Viet Nam and try to use the GPS, it does not work.

  I open Garmin Mobile PC, just Americans and Europeans of the cards.
  I try to activate the GPS, but the satellite always signal empty.

  I tried to go many places with view of clear skies but cound around ' nt captures the satellite signal.

  If this GPS is Globe Positioning system which means it can be used anywhere in the world.

• Viet Nam tv and Nasa tv do not come

  For some time now, I not was able to get one of these for work. I am on a fixed income and can't afford to cable or dish tv. I uninstalled gadgets and reinstalled. I restored the system back to before that the problem started, and again, it won't work. I don't know what else to try other start everywhere with the factory recovery disks. The fix it is not solve this problem, or I missed it. Like utube videos are working but not of Viet Nam tv and Nasa tv. I don't want to miss the last shuttle launch.

  You cannot transfer the service tag and warranty to the Viet Nam because Dell has never sold Alienware product to the Viet Nam. Reference Dell Viet Nam can only support what he sells (Inspiron, Vostro, XPS). All support warranty will pass through your cousin to the Canada.

  I have a Tecra S2 with the following specifications:

  1.73 Ghz
  1 GB OF RAM
  GB of Nvidia 6600

  Software:
  Operating system recovery cd
  MS Office
  Norton Internet security
  Logitec Webcam drivers
  Sync Nokia Software
  (all updates made)

  When I play Battlefield 1942 or watching DVDs, the laptop fails. The screen freezes just after playing for a while. Nothing works anymore but the reboot of the computer (with prolonged pressure on the power button). While I can play before the crash varies from 1 to 30 (+) minutes. It happens with battery and AC power (with and without the battery).

  I tried to disable the sound card in the hardware Manager. I have disabled all programs beginning on startup with msconfig. I reinstalled the drivers of graphics (Toshiba download). I played a bit with the resolutions and other graphic parameters.

  Nothing helps.

  Any ideas?

  Hello Karl

  It's not easy to say why your device breaks down but the high temperature can be a reason.
  If play you games or watch DVDs all the laptop parts (i.e. graphics card, CPU, etc) running at high performance and produce a lot of heat. In this case, you should check the cooling fans if they can work properly and if they are clean. If this isn't the case, you can use the vacuum cleaner to clean the fans. If the cooling fan is dusty it can t work properly and the temperature rises.
